Stupidest things you have done on New Vegas so far...

For me, one was fighting the legendary deatclaw with no armor or clothing, on hardcoe, no followers and with just the Dinner Bell for company. It did not end well at all.

Noted. Don't jump into the river from a cliff.

Mine was disarming a landmine and then walking into another landmine. I swear, I should know by now that they're never planted alone.

Yeah definitely constantly walking in to traps. I feel like an idiot when I am sneaking and sweeping for traps and I still manage to trip a couple.

Like Falcon noted, a cliff. There are never any 'cliffs over the river' it's always a 'downhill' jump' which just utterly frustrates me >:I

being freaked out by my own companion!!

when you walk into a new area with a narrow corridor at the beginning, sometimes your companion will generate further inside the room in front of you instead of behind you..

i had jsut gotten my 1st companion- and i entered a spooky mineshaft -

it was really dark, then here comes this shadowy figure walking toward me from within the room in front of me-

My girlfriend screamed, "A Monster!"

so i unloaded a few sawed off shotgun blasts at it, then i realized as it walked into the light it was just good ol' Raul the Ghoul!!!!

Raul wasn't too happy about me shooting the crap out of him, let me tell you..

Picking Energy Weapons as my starting characters class.
First playthrough was just frustrating and got boring so even though I had a bunch of side-quests and lots of unexplored locations I just rushed the main quest to be done with it.

Trying to get through the Deathclaw spot again....and again....and again.

Apparently I thought I could make it JUST THIS TIME, but yeah. >___> If Eliza could speak, she'd be spouting a rant filled with expletives at me now.

early in the game, walked into a certain NCR building that has everyone in it killed later on in the quest chain.

Did not realize that everyone in there was still alive.

Proceeded to do what I'd normally do, make a beeline for the first aid kit on the desk and loot it.

Get blown away from behind almost instantly by an NCR ranger that saw me walk into the building, sprint for his desk and start looting the joint.

Shrugging off those NCR rangers that warn you that you should raise your rep with the NCR within 3 or 4 days, otherwise there'll be trouble. Yeah, that encounter cost me a *lot* of resources.

They gave me that warning today. I proceeded to wait until they ran off and blow holes in them my anti-material rifle. :batman:
