Which lore was he talking about? I'm talking about the whole dual cast thing, the old way (mysticism) being gone. Your going to have Psijics, but no Mysticism? Total reduction of effects and spell creation (apprentices can make their own spells, but I cant?). Destruction magic being the most powerful magical force on Nirn, and it being a joke at later levels. I can go on for a while, being a huge magic user, and lore Nazi.

Mysticism actually refers to all magic; the school was simply for those miscellaneous effect that the Mages Guild/House Telvanni couldn't find any other school to put them in (schools are just arbitrarily decided by Mages Guild and related institutes). And I don't remember "dual casting" being against lore.....

Mysticism is the old way, it is gone. Psijics, and Thalmor are all over the place and we don't have Mysticism? Blasphemy. So you remember a lot of dual casters in ES lore?
