More people choosing Dawn-gaurd over Vampire.

Guess you don't know about those people who think they are really vampires in real life. They have doners who give them blood, so they can drink it.

O.o are you serious?!?!? Thats [censored] crazy if they agree to do that! That's supporting cannibalism too!

We're not treated as food. We're treated as a source of life for them. They have no other way of surviving.

Yes.. Food.

If we let them drink our blood, there would be no need for them to go on a rampage for blood. Not only that, but they wouldn't need any abilities to forcibly take our blood.

Our blood can be regained aslong as it's not drained below 2 litres. We have a near unlimited amount of blood for them, why not just give it to them on our own accourd?

If we did, perhaps they'de have powers that take blood from us nicely, such as an Anaesthetic type spell that numbs the body, instead of them ripping us apart or chewing through our necks?

No. I don't want some stranger biting my neck, and drinking my blood. I also don't want to become one of them. What is wrong with you?

Think about it.

Hell no.

I would never agree to donate my blood to a vampire, unless I get turned. But I would rather be born with vampirism and feed on mortals. I honestly could care less about the feelings of my food. It is like saying I would feel pity for my piece of steak. Those that I do care about, I would probably turn.

You have to keep in mind, some people have sort of romanticized the whole thing. In their minds, it's not about being livestock, but rather they ascribe a certain sensuality to the act of feeding or being fed upon. It's not a new notion, though. It's there even back in Bram Stoker's Dracula. The difference, though, is that back then vampires were still thought of as monsters to be killed. Fast forward a hundred years and vampires have been romanticized to the point that they've become desirable to some people.

I use vampirism as an excuse to very evil things with my only slightly evil main char (DB/Daedra quests). I get them out of the way and then he gets cured. No more extreme evil after that.

Vampire lord? With my main character? No thanks. That is for an alternate build.

This makes sense. Its insane. But it makes sense..

Also I don't think people realize how painful it would be for a Vamp to sink its fangs into your neck, and vacuum out your blood. You wouldn't be sighing dreamily like the protagonist of some cheesy romance novel.

You'd be screaming in pain, and struggling. Until you pass out/die.

God.. Just talking about the blood getting svcked out of me makes me feel numb.

From your point of view, it is insane.

And the Cyrodiilic vampires prefer to sleep on people while they are asleep, unaware. And in some cases they seduce their victims into a trance and svck their blood. Painless for them, but very erotic.

So you're OK with random strangers breaking into your home, and svcking your blood in your sleep?

You're totally cool with that?

Edit: And what about in the morning(if you're still alive) with most of blood out of you, you'd be tired, and numb. And you'd need to get a blood transplant fast before you die.

I hope you have a roommate.

Woah, woah, woah. Wait. Holy [censored]. I just realized something.

If vamps are constantly drinking random peoples blood, and are immune to diseases. What if they feed on someone who has AIDS then passes it to the next person he/she feeds on?

Holy crap. Vampires spread AIDS everybody. This is canon in all Vampire fiction now.

Kinda stating what everyone already knows: With a vampire no one is sure what the risks may be and although theres alot of excitement with new spells and perks but the risk factor of vampiric weaknesses is too large for many, including myself.

If we were to join the Dawngaurd we are guaranteed better and cooler armor, weapons and maybe even some anti vampiric resistances.

Vote and look at the results of the "Dawn Gaurd vs vampire" vote on the side of this Blog and you'll see the for yourself: http://www.bethblog.com/

62% = Dawngaurd
38% = Vampire

I would vote both. 2 of my characters were made for this DLC, one is a templar like, brawler, heavy armor type (werewolf), the other is a sneaky, backstabing, assassain mage, and is allready a vampire.

If I'd die, then it would unfortunate, but I'd be dead. I wouldn't care. And depending if I was in the ES universe, I would just wait three days and die, then come back to life as a vampire. Sounds pretty good to me. No disease, no aging. Enhanced abilities and strengths.

I think you guys are taking this a little too seriously....
Hey sir, if you do not like it, you may leave .

I always wondered. Mosquitos may do the same thing, but they do not pass AIDS. In Elder Scrolls it wouldn't matter, since everyone has a potion of cure disease.

I am going to side with the Dawnguard on my main high-level character, mainly because I want new weapons and armor and I'm sure there will be other advantages.

On the other hand those Vampires do look pretty BA and I like the whole story of them trying to destroy errything.

You'd only become a vamp if you were still alive during those 3 days. If you died before then, then you're dead. Also wouldn't care after you were dead, but you would care before then right?

Yup. And when you die you get to spend an eternity being tortured by Molag Bal, and his Daedra. Sounds awesome.

Fair enough. But still. They're filthy disease spreaders. Vampires are the equivalent of plague rats.

Filthy, filthy creatures.

I know. You die after the three days of being bitten or scratched. We have no proof vampires go to Coldharbour after they die. That only applies to Hircine and his werewolves. Some vampires may go to the Soul Cairn. With Dawnguard coming out we will understand more about Molag Bal's realm with the "Daughters of Coldharbour" story.

They may be just as "filthy" as humans can be.

Option 1: Have people volunteer to be vampire's food, likely creating more vampires after a while, needing more volunteers, untill they start assaulting people for blood and eventually, after they have spread enough, start a war with the living.

Option 2: Screw that stuff, shove a silver sword in all the vampires that only see you as a sack of blood, replace their role in society by normal people.

I don't HATE vampires because of what they are (seems racist like to me)

Vampires are undead corpses that hunt the living. It's wrong to not hate them :hehe:

I didn't think you could "have" people volunteer for something. Its more like.. Forcing people to become juice boxes under threat of death.

Option 2: Screw that stuff, shove a silver sword in all the vampires that only see you as a sack of blood, replace their role in society by normal people.

Or just kill them all.. There's that..
