Odd.. my vampires eyes never changed. Then again they started the game wolf yellows so i dunno. Personaly I preffer the Bram Stoker glowing eyes of the vampire lords. You want Twlight 2.0? We've already got it in skyrim. freaking twinkly depressed emos hiding in caves and crypts. The new ones will put things right. we'll get stronger as we feed! Honestly I was so disapointed with the current vamps that the first time i contracted it i opted for the werewolf cure. Then i started to like vamps again. As dinner.

Well, given that by stage 4 you can go invisible I've rarely had that problem. I never really needed a high sneak either. But yeah, that'd be fun. Even while Vampire lord is activated you go through the stages until you reach four and your forced back into Human form. That could potentially be a major threat, especially if you're entire build was around the Transformation. And I do agree we need some good drawbacks, it's not supposed to be a Gift like the Werewolf form but an actual curse. A curse wit benefits, but a curse none the less.

So that means that it's okay to flame me for having a different opinion than you? It's not like I insulted anyone. I even say that I didn't get it and explained why, and people get offended. Either people here are a bit too close minded or it's that they are too easily offended. I just said what I thought and I happen to like the changes in Dawnguard. I thought people would be a little friendly or a least accepting of a different point of view but I guess not.

Nah, It's just my my opinion on the matter. You're a lot more friendlier than the other two who I, as of this point, gotten a response from.

Well in my opinion it's not. Let's just agree that I have a different view that apparently some people can't fathom. Besides I have a dual handed warrior that can pretty much one hit almost anything so what's the difference. In my opinion a fully decked out warrior is equal if not better than a fully decked out vampire mage in killing potential so in MY opinion the negative of being attacked thing imbalances the game because if the warrior and vampires with it's debuffs in the sun are equal in killing potential then the extra negative means that warriors would be better overall since they get no penalties. Now that the extra negative is gone the warrior and vampire are now balanced or a least as close as it can be. It's not like it was suppose to be imbalanced, it was suppose or should I say now to be "a pick your side", like the imperials and stormcloaks.

but vampirsm has always been a disease. Its not something that people want to catch, unless of course you specifically want that challenge. Most of us here don't want a pick your side thing, they want to be forced into a survival situation where you don't have the upper hand against that warrior you're talking about. I purposely only use a single dagger on my vampire for that very reason, just to add another downside to it. Now that the negative is leaving vampires are going to be overpowered sneaking classes with almost no downsides.

I don't know but I really hope its true. I want to be a regular vampire not this crazy backwards thing we have. Its to bad that some of you will be disappointed if this change happens. But I see it as this, you cant please everybody but at least you had your turn at having it the way you wanted it. Now its time for others to have some fun.

I still love the vampire lord transformation. It looks totally cool, and I'll have lots of fun slaughtering guards and innocents in VL form. But, still, hope they have made some serious positive changes to regular vampires, perhaps even bringing us away from the stupid Cyrodiil vampires.

If you want to play survival game play a survival game like Assassin's Creed or Fallout New Vegas on hardcoe if you beat them already great, but don't expect all games to be like that. It's not like sneak wasn't overpowered enough already anyways. It's like going to play CoD and then play Halo and say that halo should play like like CoD or vice versa. Even if it not quite the same situation it's still the same type of argument. Those games start with imbalances like OP weapons or something and then it gets fixed, few people get mad because they liked using them but most agreed with the fix. It's the same with this game. Most of the people here don't like the changes but I'm sure a lot more people like them, but don't go here because they don't need to because they're happy. I'm here because I was naive enough to think to you guys that responded to me would accept a different opinion and have a friendly back and forth with a few joke like in the other threads I've seen. I should of seen it coming though, I think I was too blunt. I think the ones that responded to me were younger than I thought or that they don't know how to argue a point that make sense without insults or without repeating themselves. I think I've done and enough here to see that most but no all comment are EXACTLY the same, eyes this eyes that and no more stage 4 blah blah. Ah forget it...I'm leaving this thread and I'll have to avoid looking at it again for I might reply to a rude comment or my stupid determination to defend my side.

More like lack of fangs, from the look of it. It appears that when you become a vampire in Dawnguard, the game no longer swaps to another race model, it just simply swaps eyes. It's a little hard to tell, but that's what it's looking like. I mean, why not? Just about all female vampires in vanilla lack fangs already.

Anyway, the vampire lord transformation looks pretty cool, but I may need to use mods to improve the look of vampires in their normal forms, however.

So for normal vampires, other then the eyes, does the skin of your character look paler like in vanilla skyrim?

yeah i always thought werewolves had the yellow eyes and vamps had the red bloody looking eyes.. oh well i guess. I'm not all caught up with this vampire and werewolf crap aanyways.

why in the world would mortals not attempt to slaughter the beast that feeds on their blood nightly? by stage four you are so clearly a vampire that everyone who sees you knows it (glowing eyes would do the same, i think, but i could ignore that. maybe.), and the vast majority of people hate vampires, why do you get to do what ever you damn well please? whats next, my werewolf being welcomed as a house pet instead of feared and hated as the beast it is?

stuff like this is jsut common sense to have in, why is it being taken out?
