Certainly not in the top 10 for me. It will probably make it in the top 30 list though.

Skyrim doesn't make my top ten. The models and animations were improved, but the whole game is shallow.

It probably sits somewhere in my top 20.

I don't rank games. There are games I still play, games I liked to play but don't touch them anymore, games I take from the dusty shelves to play again... and in all that there are games I love the story, love one or several character, love the gameplay, the possibilities, love the universe, the atmosphere, love the graphics, the style, etc.
No game has everything of that. So how could I put a scale to judge if Chrono Trigger's railroaded story and not-too-bad combat system and cute graphics was better or not than Dwarf Fortress' unexistent graphics, randomly created filler (and useless) story and its desert sand to build whatever madness asks you to build?

Skyrim is a great game, but I don't see how I could rank the games I like. So I guess I should place at rank potatoe, which is high in the top washing-machine.

I my top three. I haven't really decided in the order of the last three ES games.

It's definitely in my top ten, but I'm not sure yet where exactly, I need to play more and finish the main quest.

i figure you cant rate games equal to others that are outside that genre so lets see

free world roam
1 mercs 2 world in flames ( sorry any game that gives you a nuke to use any where is number one in my book )
2 mass effect series (the story telling is just amazing and the way your choices play into the out come so seamlessly its just remarkable)
3 skyrim (LARGE and engulfing with tons of quest that take forever i love long games its just the best to dig into day after day)

third person shooter

1 gears of war any one of the series (again i love the story its so damn heart wrenching to see you closest friends in that game die through out the game like who can honestly say they didn't die alittle inside when Dom went
everyone else is lying if the say otherwise)
2 god of war series (just so brutal i love when you slowly saw off hermes legs as he begs you to let him go its just the best game when you pissed at life)
3 star wars battle front 1-2 (both are so addictive its unreal)
4 LOTR war in the north (laking a little but still fun as hell)

first person

1 the call of duty series (just about all of them have bin amazing i could pick up anyone and carve through it on veteran and not care one bit that i spent all day on it cus i love the games)
2 Halo ( another game that just kills you inside over some of the people you lose in the story and if you read the books it just adds to it plus forge wold is killer for people who think tactically)
3 battlefield bad comp 1 and battle field 3 the best multi player around nothing like full scale war to get your blood pumping

strategy

1 any of the total wars thats all i need to say
2 any of the men of wars again enough said
3 LOTR battle for middle earth 1-rise of the witch king ( love the movies lave the full scale war awesome)
