Exploration: #1 (followed by FO3 and DAO)
Environment: #1 (followed by Halo and Crysis, I like pretty games)
Writing: has some memorable quotes, but doesn't rank all that high overall. The lack of branching quests and any sort of character development, and the tediously repeated NPC dialog all sort of drag.
Gameplay: I had more fun with ranged combat (archery) in this game than I do in most shooters, plus there's melee, but I'd still rank it behind DXHR, Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age Origins, and Crisis 2
Roleplaying: Number one, actually, the quests lack decisions, but there's enough stuff to do and ways to do it to offer a ton of flexibility in how you play a character. This is one of the first times I've found myself completely abandoning going for 100% completion, and instead just playing a character.
So #1 in 3 out of 5 categories, but I still think I may have enjoyed Dragon Age: Origins a bit more overall. Writing counts for a lot.
*Edit - One more category though. Modding potential. This game's pretty exciting in that department, and I imagine I'll end up having more fun with it than any game to date.
