Probably around #20 over the platforms I use and #8 on the PS3.

It's not really all that high on my rank admittedly...(playing it) modding it is high rank though.

4th or 5th. Definitly behind both Mass Effects and Dragon Age II. Tied with Dragon Age: Origins. Slightly before Morrowind and Fallout 3.

#1 - Diablo 2

#5 - Final Fantasy 7
#6 - Resident Evil 5
#7 - Golden Eye 007 (the original)
#8 - X-Com UFO Defense

so ya Skyrim hasn't made my top 10, I like it but it's not one of the best ever in my opinion, i'm not drawn into it the way I was with many on my list.

Skryim's on my list of favorites, with a lot of other games. I have no interest in ranking them because I loved them all at one time or another.

All time list? Not even in the top 20.

My all time list is heavy with games that most people here have never heard of and my top 20 is mostly adventure games that were released when alot of people on the forums were not even born yet.

My top 10:

Kings Quest 2
Kings Quest 3
Kings Quest 5
The Secret of Monkey Island
Police Quest 3
Police Quest 4
Space Quest 4
Space Quest 5
Daggerfall
Morrowind

3. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (PC)
4. Rome: Total War (PC)
5. Faxanadu (NES)

8. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (PC)

This list was created after I worked my standard 12-hr shift... so it's been subjected to fatigue.

It depends, if I am to shove the games more into each other the TES series hit around '15th place', however if I am to count each and every game alone then Skyrim hits at '31th'. While yes Skyrim is rather good, and it's a huge step above all the other rpg's in term of AI it's still very, very lacking in many fundemental areas. Such as NPC's lack personality.

Even those with rather ok-detailed quests lack personality especially outside of the quest\questlines. Something games such as baldurs gate and icewind dale does't have too much of a problem with(also a bit bland but they do have more personality then skyrim does).

Skyrim is one of those games that tries to be too many things to too many people at once and because of it deliver either poor or mediocre on each area. It's not such a bad thing because of the mods(which is what's saved the TES series all these years to begin with) which is why the TES series hit 15th place and skyrim hits 31th is all because of their modding potentional, if it wasn't for that it wouldn't even get a spot on any list from me.

If anyone actually reads this far and is wondering what I do hold as top 10 games:

Baldurs gate 1
Baldurs gate 2+ expansionP
planescape torment
Icewind dale 1(including expansions)
Icewind dale 2(including expansions)
Gothic 1
Gothic 2 + expansion
Gothic 3 + comunity patch
Arx fatalis

as for the overall games:

baldurs gate
planescape torment
icewind dale
gothic
arx fatalis
Risen
Deus EX
The witcher
S.T.A.L.K.E.R
Neverwinter Nights
Star wars knights of the old republic
Half-life
Dragon age
The void
Diablo
TES series

I dunno. Somewhere in the top ten, I guess, but a lot of that may just be because it's the newest game I own and those are almost always "one of my faves" for the moment.

Never played Ultima, but I did mention Dragon Warrior and Faxanadu... does that exlude me from being a "youngin"? I'd sure hope so since I played those games on the old NES when I was about 14 years old.

Oh yeah, and I remember playing Utopia and He-Man on Intellivison back in 1987. That statement should reek of "ancient gamer" by today's standards.

Excellent game, and in the top 50, but not the top 20. Modded-to-hell-and-back by 12/12/12, maybe top 10. We'll see.

If you take into account all genres then im not sure it will make my top 10. Big fan of the Fifa series and Battlefield as well as things like Total Wars, Mount and Blade, Evil Genius (one of my favourite games ever), Freelancer and many more which I have ploughed endless hours into.

Still a cracking game though

All nostalgia aside, 1 or 2. COD4 would've been up there, I was a youngin back then and loved the MP. But it's between OB and Skyrim.

I didn't like Oblivion from the start, but it turned out to become the Game of my Life. That was because I modded it myself and spent thousands of hours on modding and playing it.

Skyrim, will take that throne soon when the CK comes out. But I liked Skyrim from the very start, so it's really on its way to becoming my new Game of my Life.

1st all time... maybe tied with Morrowind. But take that with a grain of salt. They're the only two video games I've played in the last 10 years.

1: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (Most epic game I ever played)
2: The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (not a single game can give me the satisfaction of Oblivion as it was the first TES game I ever played)
3: Champions of Norrath (The best 2 player RPG game ever made in my opinion)
4: The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim (Yes it is in my top 5, just because of the graphics and because it's a follow up in the TES series)
5: Call of Duty Modern Warfare: (The solo campaign as well as the multiplayer were too awesome)

I love the game but I'm undecided at this point, it's too early. I'll wait until all the expansions are out for it before I make a final judgement.

Skyrim *might* make my top 10 in terms of hours played, but isn't in the list as a favorite. There are too many nostalgic faves that can never be topped.

1) Adventure - Atari 2600
2) Legacy of the Ancients - C64
3) Bard's Tale I & II - C64
4) Might & Magic II - C64
5) Phantasy(?) - C64
6) Secret of Mana - SNES
7) SM3 - SNES
...
100) Something made post 2000 ;)
...
1??) Skyrim
