VampireDelavaga, is that you?

I'm just a madman who's seen the sight of an impossible thing.

I'd like a DLC questline that involves the psijic order and the great collapse.

The mages of Winterhold summon you to the college because they have found a way to get more information on the great collapse. The want you to go to a dweller ruin containing an ancient alchemy lab with the ingredients to make a potion that can have the drinker go in a dream state and relive events of the past of the place where you drink it.

After finding the lab and making the potion you have to bring it to the college and drink it there. You enter the dream state and are taken back to the final days before te great collapse. When you exit the college via the bridge you enter into the flourishing city of Winterhold where you have to investigate.

You learn that the destruction of Vivec and the resulting eruption of red mountain have nothing to do with the collapse, but that rogue elements within the Psijic order are involved. The dream state ends when the city of Winterhold sinks into the sea of ghosts, killing nearly everyone including yourself.
Back in present Winterhold you inform the mages of your findings. They contact the psijic order to confront them. The psijic order informs them that a long time ago, some members left the order and went rogue. They tell the mages where they think their headquarters is and you are sent there. In the underground headquarters you fight your way to a chamber containing texts from the time of the great collapse that explain that the rogues used old dwemer technology to build a weapon that causes tremors by generating shockwaves that can destroy entire landmasses. The college of Winterhold was spared only because the mages of that time were able to dissipate the wave before it reached the college. Their magic caused a feedback wave that destroyed the weapon. They were however not aware a weapon had generated the wave.
There is also a journal in the room that tells the members of this order have found the necessary parts to recreate the weapon and are planning to use it in the near future on the college to destroy it. The journal has a map that indicates the location of where the weapon is built. You have to go there and destroy the weapon.

I really wanna see one take place in Hammerfell.
Perhaps the story could have some correlation to your actions from the quest "In My Time of Need". I'd love to wear my Redguard clothes and actually look practical.

Plus I can use my curved swords. Curved. Swords.

Because of Skyrim I have a lowered opinion of TES and nords. Also don't care for lore anymore. But I would get back to TES if this idea were to happen. Posting just for fun.

1. For some greater reason, Skyrim's climate has begun to change and experts believe that the land will become a land far richer for other reasons than just mining. Maybe Skyrim was cursed all this time and the curse was lifted. Or maybe super divine god whatever has blessed it. Any reason to make Skyrim not cold anymore and rich with opportunity and resources.

2. ( Optional ) All nords are either struck dead so that the nord race is ended, or else something has happened that will soon bring about the end of the time of nords. Also anything that can do away with the god Talos, maybe all the gods gang up on him.

3. The reason for the above two are there specifically to make Skyrim a new land that all of the other territories want a stake in. Each neighboring faction has their own reasons to entitlement of possession of as much of Skyrim as they can get. Some legal clause is found that weakens or invalidates the Empire's grip on Skyrim. Khajiit, Argonians, Hammerfellians, Bosmer, Dunmer, etc. are all racing to Skyrim territory to claim it from the dead or rebuked nords while the Empire and Thalmor are locked in disagreement, filibuster conflict.

4. The player can be any race and choose to support their parent nation, the Thalmor or Empire. Or jump into the land grab and face a wild schedule of dog-eat-dog faction fighting and disagreements with all of the other greedy factions. Everyone has their own interpretation of why they should be in Skyrim. There will come a point where unification is advised, or else a new allied nations treaty is reached. And whatever is to be the future of all this mess depends on the player.

The Dark Gamble - Maven Black Briair seeks to expand her territory beyond the rift and has created her personel thug army called the black briair legion. The Forsworn has rallied together and are stronger than ever, they hope to take back the entire reach once and for all. As the dragonborn, you should help them accomplish their quest or eradicate them.
I'd settle for the option to team up with Mjoll and destroy the thieves guild once and for all.
