This has made my morning. A good April Fools joke was inevitable and I for one applaud it.

I actually like this. Atmora's where the Nord's first came into Tamriel from. Least that's what I remember reading somewhere..

I have no clue what the environment's like though. Anyone?

A cold, barren wasteland. Uninhabitable, from memory.
Guards in one of the northern holds (Winterhold, I believe) will often mention that in the hold they guard it's ' ... cold as Atmora, but that just grows the beards thicker!'

How about Beth adopts the SKYUI interface for PC officially. I'd like to use it, but I don't use SKSE because it has to be updated too often with subsequent patches... which is annoying, sort of like the previous situation with the LAA patch before Beth released their own.

Not my type of thing. It seems too mundane. Though the images look nice. It has a small field where there NPC Bosmer/Altmer holding what seems to be a crossbow, but I can't tell for sure.

You know nothing about it, yet you say it's "mundane"?

It's an ancient and mostly unknown land. It seems pretty magical to me. And at least it's at the same level as Akavir, Yokuda, Thras or Pyandonea.

And we finally manage to get out of Tamriel (while remaining in Nirn, or course).

Actually, Nords first came from Skyrim. Then they all buggered off to Atmora for a few thousand years, then came back when it got a bit chilly.

That's according to their 'creation story', if you will. They believe that Kynareth breathed life into them atop the Throat of the World. Whether or not that's the truth, I doubt we'll ever know.

And guys ... Please read the first page, and the tags. This was an April Fool's Joke ...

I hate April's Fools Day.

Cicero like it instead; indeed he thinks that every day would be april's fool day  and probably is already like so for someone.

Forget where it's written, but MK has said that "all human life began on Tamriel."

MK? But anyway, sorry - my bad. I must be getting a bit rusty on my Nord-related lore!
From memory, Ysgramor led the Nords to Skyrim from Atmora, but they returned to Atmora after the native elves destroyed the city of Saarthal. Ysgramor then returned with the 500 companions, and slaughtered any elf they could find. They must have moved from Skyrim to Atmora some time before Ysgramor first came to Skyrim.

"The surfaced rumors of Skyrim's downloadable content is officially confirmed to hold some truth. 'Dawnguard' will feature new npc's and creatures, as well as quests that shall embark the player to places such as Atmora and Vivec City."

Do try to make your April Fool's joke a little more believable next year. ;) There is no Vivec City anymore...somebody went and dropped a Ministry of Truth on it.

Now, if you'd said "Atmora and the Scathing Bay" I might have fallen for it. Even though those two places are in complete opposite directions. :P

I personally would love to see the birthplace of man and return to the grey vastness of Morrowind.

And the last one they showed. New landscape and a completely new armor. There is no way in hell this is a mod or fake.

Never believe anything on or around April 1st.

When I first clicked on the thread, April Fools Day was in the back of my mind...

April Fools or not, I'd be down. I've always wanted one DLC that takes us to a new place to explore, Atmora would be the equivalent of Solstheim and Bloodmoon, one DLC in a Daedric Realm, Hircine's Hunting Grounds would be very nice, and another DLC that expands the Civil War and Main Quest, similar to Broken Steel.

Count me in for Hircine's Realm. I would throw money at Bethesda for something like that.

Add playable vampires, liches or werewolves, then it's not mundane. Anything else I consider mundane. Not so much as less magical, but more of "meh."
Umm... nope?

It was a joke. I know Vvardenfell blew up and the Red Mountain exploded. But I figure all those Morrowind crazies would of love to have visited Vivec City(Or whatever the hell is left of it).

Do try to make your April Fool's joke a little more believable next year. Problem was that I am using an anonymous proxy server, so I am limited in just about everything, including posting links without using a website that uploads images, so it was kind of rushed. I should of added "and explore the ruins of Vivec City."
