Evil in Waiting. Can't get through the puzzle door (the key does not work, despite the correct items chosen in the rings), so I can't get the Word of Power and the Dragon Mask. I've tried all the fix suggestions to no avail--quit and restart, clairvoyance, etc.

Game crashes, whatever causes it I don't care what it is just fix it. I have 300+ and a lvl 70 that I can't use.

Other than that I'd love to see them incoorperate some of the cool visual, seasonal, and ambiance(sp?) mods that have been made.

One more item: I am tired of carrying around quest items for completed quests. I have the flute, drum, a bunch of journals, and all sorts of other items in my inventory that are no longer valid. Can the next update check through each of the quests I have completed, and if it's completed but the items are still in my inventory, can it remove them or put them someplace? Then I can use another Stone to increase XP, because at level 62, with a bunch of 100s, you have to start doing things the hard way to get new levels.

Agreed, at the same time I HATE that the nirnroot glow stacking is still there, it basically stops me from playing as I know that it will destroy the game in the end so why invest so many hours? I cannot believe BS has not fixed this yet...unbelievable...

Side Quest: “Kill the Leader of Red Eagle Redoubt”. I fast traveled to this location… No enemy in the surrounding camp and no enemy in the whole Redoubt area. This is impossible to complete because it seems to be tied to the “Repairing the Phial” quest.
there is no arrow for this quest on the map and I have searched the entire area inside and out and there is no leader to kill. This is the first quest breaking bug I have found :( help

Also I noticed this evening that the find Red Eagles sword quest is still active when It should be complete. These two quests seem to be broken for me.

Or they could fix it..
Ignoring a problem by applying an a-typical playing style is not a solution.

2 problems I would fix

-issue were playing in certain parts of the game lowers fps to unplayable level (irkngthad while doing the quest blind sighted for example and in snowy caves)
-during dragon seekers with Farkas if you already have killed the dragon at the location given then the quest breaks which makes getting new quests from the companions impossible and Farkas will follow you forever.

That's a ridiculous suggestion. How bout it just gets fixed? Is that not the correct way to look at it? And if picking everything in sight is your "solution" to keep the glow "in check", what about the nirnroots that are already exploding with extra glow layers that DO NOT disappear after they're picked? What would you suggest then....everyone to just wish it away?

Drunk: No offence but it is a bit redundant to post such an obvious tip in what is basically a patch request thread. The problem is well known an would be a good candidate for patching..

That's a ridiculous suggestion.
Calm down.. if you don't like a suggestion make a side remark about it (how this solution doesn't work) or ignore the post, besides Drunk meant well.. and for people who want to avoid the issue altogether, on a new playthrough, it is a viable but cumbersome workaround.

This issue needs to be fixed.. period.. so now on to new suggestions..

I'm perfectly calm. I didn't like the suggestion & I made my side remark about it...it's ridiculous, no matter how well he meant. Your opinion is it's a "viable but cumbersome workaround" and you're entitled to that thought. My opinion is that it's a time-consuming, frustrating endeavour that has ultimately proven to me to be a waste of time. Likewise, I'm entitled to believe that as well. If you don't like my post or the opinion it contains then perhaps you should follow your own advice & ignore something you don't agree with from now on as well.

Ive gone over 200 hrs without the glow bug, so its a viable solution till it is fixed, I only pick the nirnroot I hear/see also. Its not like I go out of my way to find all the nirnroot in the region. I also just fast travel alot so that may help too.

If you dont want to do that, that is perfectly fine, you are entitled to take my suggestion or not but on a new playthrough or even an existing one, until its fixed that is the best solution I have to give to help people avoid it. Anyone that wants to disregard it is more than welcome to have more of a chance of getting the glow issue so that way they too can come here to complain to Beth about it.

For such an obvious tip people seem to run into it quite often. Like I said the suggestion isnt a means to deflect from the issue that needs fixing just a work around for those until it does people that look more into it than needed isnt neccessary. Just trying to be helpful to help those avoid running into that issue so they can still play.

They still have not fixed the Odahviing glitch, thus allowing me not to finish the main quest line. They should really get on that because I haven't been able to beat the game for months.

2 things that i want to see fixed...
the graphics are glitchy.
One land i can see a large size square of "open" water where i could see the bottom of it,
weapon/item graphic glitches, table to ground glitches, and a quick glitch of bottom of the screen black, middle mixed snow and other colors and the top screen "normal".

Have the easter egg fixed on the gaints club. Not happy where only one time one follower gets the club.

Does anyone know if they've fixed Smithing yet? I don't mean making it progress slower, I mean the crazy amount of un-improvable gear in the game, such as Imperial Studded armor, Nord Hero Bow, Silver sword/greatsword, etc.

Some items are intentional not to be upgraded, regardless of smithing perks

Right, except for the part where I make a Legendary-smithed ancient nord bow into a Nord hero one at the Skyforge, and lose the Legendary status and wind up turning it into one of the weakest bows in the game. I'm really sure that's intentional, considering all the other nord hero gear is improvable.

There's even a loading screen blurb that say every piece of gear in the game is upgradable.

Horned Scale armor?

Imperial Studded Leather?

The smithing mechanic is broken. Not glitchy, not on again, off again, it's flat out broke. It amazes me they haven't lifted a finger to fix this.

Found a few things for ya (as found on http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Weapons, http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Armor):

Nord Hero Bow:
The Nord Hero Bow cannot be tempered. Its tempering entry (TemperWeaponSkyforgeBow) incorrectly links to the Nord Hero Battle Axe instead of the bow.

Scale Horn Armor:
Scaled Horn Armor cannot be tempered, because it was completely left out of the appropriate list.

I could not find anything on Imperial Studded Leather, is that the exact name?
Mostly the items that cannot are unique items like on this list: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Unique_Items
So those 2 items I was able to find info on are misreferenced which causes issues not being able to upgrade them.

I've only just now heard about this "glowing nirnroot" bug. Does this mean I should pick the nirnroots more to prevent the glow from stacking, or stop picking them because the glow stacks when they respawn?

I just wanna keep this character and save for as long as possible. ^^;

Pick the nirnroot.
It does not guarantee the bug to occur but is relatively failsafe..
From the wiki:
  • PC 360 Even after harvesting, there is a faint glow where the Nirnroot plant used to be.
  • PS3 360 If not harvested immediately, after some -hundred- of hours of gameplay, the glow around the Nirnroot can increase in brightness reaching a very intense white that doesn't clear even if you harvest the Nirnroot, and can be painful to look. In PC, you can erase all the layers of the white light, one by one, with the console command "MarkForDelete" and pointing with the mouse cursor every layer. Be careful though, because is very easy to delete something that is not a layer of light, like water from a river or lake, rocks, plants... etc.

Truly, this is a bug that is very obvious, can ruin the game completely, PC already has a solution and we are still hoping BS does something about this. I wonder why they have not yet fixed this?

And to my knowledge it ALWAYS happens, it is not a bug that does NOT happen, it always will. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
