The PSN is up in most locations (all of U.S. and the UK and Japan) the question lies with when the store will be up and the May 31st deadline is most likely true. We will have to see if it is back earlier then that. This does however give me time to raise the lvls of some of my other characters, play L.A. Noire, and demonbane so I have things to do while I wait. Hope OWB comes out around mid june but they will probably make sure there are no game breaking glitches in the honest hearts release before they set a definite date in june for OWB.

At least multiplayer functionality is available now for people who play uncharted 2 and the fighting games.

Well I'm in the UK and some of the PS3 online services have come online for us now, can't see the store being online tomorrow but hopefully we won't have to wait too long either..

Xbox wins every round. It gets the best console ports (and in the case of portal 2, the best port period) and expansions first as well.

Sony has stated several times that their will be free downloadable items included in the welcome back package along with the month of ps plus, which you think should be free which I find funny because two posts later you support the 360 saying its better but forget to mention the fact that you have to pay to play online fairly fanboyish if you ask me and I thought this thread wasn't going to turn into another victim of the "console war" but I guess not.

That's an opinion piece, I like to deal in facts. Like the fact that the XBOX360 gets the superior port (yes, even both fallout games) damned near 100% of the time.

As far as ports go,it may have something to do with the fact that creating a game on the xbox means its easier to port to the pc/ps3.. It's a completely different matter when thats not the case huh..

As far as the superior FO port? I don't think so, xbox suffers from prolonged load times and seems to be a lot more twitchy than the pc/ps3 versions..
But thats to be expected, it is the lowest powered machine of the three

Also, any game on the 360 can only can have "5" updates a year or the developers have to pay for a update..

Good and Bad news everyone!

According to some article I just saw (which means that this could be completely wrong) Sony sent out an email to major publishers for PSN detailing the return of the Store. The letter got leaked and the date that read was May 24, along with 3 other dates that will provide the same type of update as a weekly store update: May 27, May 31, and June 3.

Now, again, this could be bogus, but it seems like it could be true.

Its not bogus its an official Sony memo its been confirmed by several different sources, its actually faster than I thought it would be up.
