Remove daedric from perk tree ....

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 11:45 am

Seriously daedric is stuff from another plane , shouln't becraftable at all ... That makes it cheap an ununique.... It was bettermin morrowind where there exhisted only one single full suit and to discoveryou had to hunt all the pieces around the island .... Now it was just dumbed and spoiled of any interest beeing only a powerfull fancy armor craftable by any good smith with the proper materials ...

Without sounding harsh, why not just do what I do and don't craft it? Deadric Hearts are pretty difficult to get hold of anyway.

Or here's a better idea. Just don't craft it then. Also I would some what agree with you, but heres the problem. The leveling scaling system.

Ho then why not craft everything ? Why not craft all unique weaponstoo instead of looking for them ? Why not crafting horse and castles ? Oh why not making the whole game into a craftsimscrolls? I just gived an answer on the pair level of intelligence of the ones I got ...

You like dumbed down games for dumbed down people ...you like to win easy and play easy. . .? Oh waid why not remove all buttons from pad as well and leave only one for killing stuff around?

I would agree with you on this, but the armor isn't made out of materials from the Oblivion, or what ever realm/plane they come from. The armor is made out of Ebony. A material that's in the "normal realm" and you can get Daedra hearts from killing Dremora. If you have the skill, knowledge and materials. Any expert/experienced black smith can forge it.

"I can only tell you tales of how to make Daedric armor. I have never seen it myself, nor do I know anyone that has. The stories say that it should always be worked on at night... ideally under a new or full moon, and never during an eclipse. A red harvest moon is best. Ebony is the principle material, but at the right moment a daedra heart must be thrown into the fire." ―http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Authors#Sven_Two-Hammers

How is daedric armour made then, do daedric princes pull it out of their collective backsides, or is it ebony armour infused with the heart of a daedra? Is it unrealistic to assume that in a world of dragons, fireballs etc that supernatural armour could be crafted by a mortal?

Oh, and btw, daedric armour is supposed to be rare, not unique. Fail comparison fails hard. And you have the cheek to question the intelligence of others?

The daedric perk should be unlocked earlier in the tree. :D

And in the game it is spam a whole bunch iron daggers and take a perk, do it whenever you like :lmao:

I hear in Daggerfall the daedric items would eventually break and release the daedra in them. That would of course be mighty pissed off and try to kill the first thing it sees. Namely, you :bolt:

How daedra make daedric items is unknow, and even if it was i doubt it would be doable by mortals. Mortal smiths can emulate it with daedra hearts, but i've always thought it is a lesser than what the daedra themselves can do. Except in Skyrim, where the player can outcraft daedric princes without breaking a sweat

No because this is not a original lore reference it is a skyrim book refernce to justify the presence of the daedric amomg the armors .... I would have preferred to see some better and more earthly materials than daedric ... This way they have just dumbed down and cheapened the daedric armor , making it pass from an unique item inmorrowind to a common armor as any other just requiring daedra hearths wich are aslo not so uncommon to find ....

Eventually they should just allow it to be enchanted or improved but crafting makes now sense they probably added to please all kids that like to go around i. That fancy armor as soon as possible without having to work for it .... Get the ingredients then puff!!! Daedric armor as many pieces u like inless than a second....

Actually it makes sense, the daedric weapons and armor are just reinforced ebony weapons that were given the essence of a Dremora, hence why the Dunmer call ebony "God's blood." Its actually been considered lore before skyrim.

It's still way to easy to get though, a full suit of Daedric armor should be near impossible to get and yet it's present in Skyrim. Which to be honest is even more unlikely then in most other provinces.

Still this is a lot better then bandits walking around in full suits of the crap during Oblivion so I'm happy with the direction it's taken.

Oh I agree that unique armours and weapons are distinctly underwhelming, and I can agree with the view that maybe crafting daedric stuff should be a lot more difficult, but removed from the tree altogether? Nah. It's only an option, if someone enjoys playing easy mode, who are we to spoil their fun?

IMO some people (like OP) need to stop the sad act of being bothered how OTHER PEOPLE choose to play a SINGLE PLAYER GAME.

Daeric is just infused ebony like others said. Now I think it's should be craft able, but do agree perhaps it is a little to easy to gt. perhaps they should have done something so that it could only be crafted at a certain time or place, which would be difficult to find in at least a first play though. Also their were 2 sets in morrowind and you could easily get one off divaryth fyr, though you had to either be a good thief or kill him. Like my suggestion for Skyrim, you would not have known this on your first play though.

Actually without the perk or the arcane thingy in the college is near impossible to get daedric weapons unless they are sold in a small, selection of shops and armor is even harder to find being on borderline impossible.

Yeah what I did is first get 100 conjuration and learn summon demora and then grab the heavy armor forge book afterwards I gather the materials and then make the armor at the lunar forge at night.

They should have made it an Atronach Forge item solely, and the only way you could improve it was to sacrifice someone good or innocent. I don't use it on my honorable characters because it looks evil.

If you don't like the idea of daedric armour then don't make it. No-one is forcing you to make it. Get over it!

Why would you need to sacrifice a non-daedra to make Daedric armor? Its not souls that made daedric armor it was the essences of Daedras.
