7,5. The only game that has gotten a higher score by me is God of War.

And for being a TES game I won't give it a score as it has no purpose. By that logic, Arena was the best game.

It depends... On a day where everything is going great, 9/10, On a day where it's just frustrating the hell out of me, 1/10, I might just rage quit. If I looked at how much time I spend in Skyrim compared to other games... 10/10. No single player game even comes close.

So 9/10 if I give it one number. I'd say 7/10 at launch, but things have gotten better

I've make a similar distinction. As a game called 'Skyrim' I might give it an 8/10. As an RPG, and as a game with 'The Elder Scrolls V' at the front of its title, I'd give it a 5.

I'll give it eight arrows coming out of knees or of ten arrows coming out of knees. Great game, very flawed. It's not the best in the series, but it is great for what it is. I do hope the next game brings back the stuff Skyrim took out.

Couple of things i don't agree with and some design choices are bad, but overall as a package it's the RPG to beat at the moment.

Its not Morrowind.. (which i benchmark all rpgs against)

however when i first started playing , i had the morrowind buzz, which no other game has ever given me before.

For now 8.5.. when morrowind dlc comes out with medium armor and daedric ruins and guars...

First 100 hours- 8.5 (the 'game reviewer' window)

After that- 7 (the long-term player's phase)

And after I see the last corner and dig out the last dungeon (very close now), it'll probably sink to a 5. Landscape sims aren't much for replayability once you've seen it all.

8, it's a good game and for me the most enjoyable TES title.
But the question is, can it compete against Operation Flashpoint (22 out of 10)? Of course not, it's not made by god, like OFP is.

i give it a 10 i love it better then any other game i played accept for red dead redemption sorry im a cowboy game fan aswell XD but both these are a 10 for me.
