I think it's amusing this video makes use of some animal's headless carcass. :D

If it would have been a dog or a cat, people would have flipped, but so long you use a bird's carrion - you're morally fine. :D

No birdshot, birdshot is lame, I wouldn't trust it to down a bloatfly. Buck, Slugs, and Darts like in STALKER would be cool, as would frag rounds and tazers.

Frag rounds + combat auto shotgun= mini version of the grenade MG.

I don't really have a particular shotgun that I'd want in NV but Slugs would definitely be a cool type of ammo.

With the right choke and the right gauge you can pretty much make anything fire out of a shotgun; that's what's so beautiful about 'em. I'd love to see http://www.amazon.com/Orion-12-Gauge-Aerial-Handheld-Signal/dp/B000ENB44E as an alternate ammunition. Might not give a whole lot of damage, but it sure as heck will set your enemies ablaze and light up any dark areas. :D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPi8UG3dlF4#t=5m40s I know there is 3 basic types of shot bird, slug, and buck. If there are anymore out there I would like to know, but I think that is pretty much it. I would also like to know what shotguns would you like to see in Fallout:NV? (other than the ones he have already seen of course)

For me I would like to see the Winchester Model 1897 Trench Grade.

That would be awesome especially if you could slam fire it like in real life. Nothing would stand a chance, probably won't happen though.

Sweet. Now I only need my beloved H&K CAWS. Any game with that one has a high probability of rocking.

I would like to see a Pump Action Shotgun.
Maybe somewhere in the Mojave Desert there is a Hunting Grounds Haha That would be a good feature!
Yeah, Pump Action or Semi Auto, But please, Make the semi auto look like a REAL semi auto, That Semi in F3 looked nothing like a real Semi.

No, the combat shotgun was awsome, looked better than any semi auto shotgun i've seen.

I would like a pump-action too, Mossberg 500? It was invented in the early 60's

Why is everyone crazy over Mossberg 500? Go with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benelli_M3, you have both semi auto and pump action capability.

Does that really matter this much? The Fallout timeline provided us with the realisation of CAWS production, among others. If a gun was demanded by the US, it can fit. In my opinion. ^_^

Well with all the people whining about modern weapons I thought it would matter.

Ach, well I couldn't care less. Fallout featured a Sig-Sauer handgun in the first game, if the 70s (most likely later from the design) is not modern, what is? ^_^

Heck, I don't even have to theorise there, Fallout 1 had a friggin Desert Eagle.

While there may be a small element of people who don't want anything in the game that would look out of place on either Band of Brothers, or Buck Rodgers, I think the major concern is the tide of people trying to shoe-horn in the complete weapon list from modern warfare. In otherwords, Tacticool gun-pr0n for frothing fps junkies.

That I would agree with. Keep it strangely familiar, not modern commonplace. ^_^
