It bugged me a little, and then I started playing again.

That's the way it is with a lot of things in Skyrim.

there is 2 sheaths, but if you use the same weapon they go over top of each other (looks great if you are using a dagger and a sword though)

Hmm. Just checked out the screenshots on Armed To The Teeth.

Like I mentioned earlier, I'd hope that if they built that into the game, it would be optional - I've never been a fan of the "festooned with straps/bags/sheathes" hobo look. It would kind of svck if I couldn't have any weapons hotkeyed because it was the only way to not be buried in gear.

I want to see staves on my back, as well as shields.
This. I really hope that Bethesda will see this thread and consider fixing it, as unlikely as that is.

There's a little glitch that I get sometimes and it seems to only happen when I have an ebony sword and a dagger of any type equipped (Although I don't recall what weapon is in what hand).

Both weapons will appear to be sheathed. For a long time I had a 1-h ebony sword and Mehrune's Razor both visible, although they were both on the left hip instead of opposite hips. Not sure what happened to make it go away, but I have since deleted that character anyways.

Do you think Bethesda employee's troll these boards... If so, could we get an official response to this. Just a "hey, we know this problem exists, we think it svcks too, give us some time." Or maybe "Hey we know about this and we don't care."
Either one would suffice

This is a mod that allows you to see both swords or knives dual wield... lots of stuff still doesn't work. but its something other than armed to the teeth. Also. It doesn't let you see bow along with other weapons etc.

The Skyrim Dawnguard video was pretty awsome. I did notice that weapons are going to work the exact same way with regards to only one weapon showing at a time, only one sheath animation for two weapons....I don't understand why they think this doesn't matter... I am pretty sure it is because the INSIST this is a first person game, with third person features added in because players cried about it...

Anyway,

BUMP

I totally agree on this. I wish we could see everything. And it should make it much more difficult to sneak if you're carrying two swords and a bow and arrow. The more stuff you carry, the more difficult it should be to sneak.

finally some talented modder got this atleast fixed. not ideal but now i can live with it.

just proves again that modders skill is FAR BEYOND leveledthesdas. and modders CARE about details. devs dont. they only care about MONEY.

I really think the devs care. That is why I am posting this. Something is either NOT possible to be fixed due to the way the games code works... The fix is too difficult... or they just plain forgot. I want to hear the reason, specifically to this problem, and why every Bethesda game is like this. This is not an exclusive problem to this game...All of you know how it worked in the fallout series as well as all the other elder scrolls game.

I think Bethesda WANTS this game to be experienced in first person only, and 3rd person is an afterthought.

I know it is difficult to mod this. That is why Armed to the teeth is having so many issues, and the other dual wield mod doesn't work for a lot of people. If it were a simple fix, modders would have finished it off by now, but it's not simple. Let's hope Bethesda steps up and changes this.

Thanks Bethesda, ahead of time :)

OP
I think I have found a solution..... if you want your dagger to show on your hip along with your sword you need to have 2 of the same dagger in your inventory. I tested it last night, it wouldn't work with just a steel dagger and a steel sword and after a little thought I decided to put another steel dagger in my inventory, fav list. You then equip a dagger in your left hand and sword in the right, unsheathe, and then re-sheathe, remove armor / clothing and then re-equip armor / clothing and wa la you have a dagger on the same hip as your sword, which will remain there even if you switch out weapons( swap a bow for a sword ). The only time it stopped to work was when I change clothes / armor but all I had to do was repeat the process and the dagger showed on my hip again
Kinda svcks that you need to take up room with an extra dagger, but vanity has a price.
