I sincerely hope there's good werewolf stuff in Dawnguard.

If I could manage, I'd get a PC just for good werewolf mods (skins for different races, beast form toggle, etc.).

Besides that, did anyone notice that the gentleman who was talking about his daughter had yellow eyes but no fangs? Even Babette has fangs.

I know, but I'm hoping for something nice. As it was, Skyrim itself looked vampire-centric at first--vampires were officially confirmed long before release, and werewolves were supposed to be a secret.

The developer, Vsions, said good things are coming to the werewolf fans. He wouldn't elaborate beyond that. But we will have some werewolf content coming our way.

Yeah, I was in that thread. I'm really excited for it. I'll be okay with no werewolf goodies this time around if they have their own focused DLC later :vaultboy:

No.
You already have a Werewolf faction where you go thru --spoiler spoiler-- and become werewolf.. All that, brotherhood, etc..

And vampires have -nothing- in vanilla Skyrim!

Doubt it.

Anyway you fleabags have gotten much love compared to Vamps in the main game.
They've already got a questline, a faction and opposing faction, loads of stuff.

Vampires get sweet eff all compared to that.

The dlc has to focus on something, it's vampires turn, so svck it (pun intended).

ahhh, you underestimate them.

I dont want something "big" werewolf related becuase otherwise i can see them spreading themselves to much and all areas falling short. But something for the werewolves would be nice, they are rather weak.

Also werewolves couldn't catch vampirism -or any disease-, does this that alot of the content will be cut for quite a few characters?

I would think this expansion is the perfect place to have more werewolf content. How could they not? Vampires vs Werewolves is awesome.

But it looked like the vampires had orange eyes, I don't think they were werewolves.

I know my werewolf quickly became useless around level 30. Enemies took dozens and dozens of claws to kill, just normal bandits. That was ridiculous. A werewolf talent tree would be amazing.

Well, it's not my fault vampires svck

For that matter, you filthy nightspawn have been around for ages (lame pun intended); Skyrim is the first time that true glory has graced TES since Morrowind. Puppies need lovin', too.

one crappy quest-line that had werewolves thrown in for flavor does not count for much!! hircine's hounds will get something, even if it is something small, tis is a dark DLC after all

I disagree; I and many others would love more werewolf content. Still, you bring up a good point: won't many players be unable to access new diseases? How will the events of Dawngaurd affect current werewolves and vampires?

I'm still holding out hope for Werewolf and Vampire perk trees.

Ditto!

I'm going to start a thread this week (maybe today) on all things werewolf, including tactical combat. Myself and other forum-goers have a great time as werewolves well into the later levels, and I personally have never felt more powerful yet balanced. Hopefully I and others can help you out, because werewolves are far from useless at any level.

Perhaps the Silver Hand will get a major buff and start hunting the werewolf player like the dog they are.

Na, seriously though, I would be surprised if werewolves don't have a role to play in whatever crisis the DLC brings down on ALL our heads.
It's is pretty darkity dark in theme and I bet there'll be a doggy treat or two thrown to the wolves.

Hey, Beth!
C'mon, give the dogs a bone lol.

I sincerely doubt the debut dlc for Skyrim will ignore players who aren't into the vamp thing anyway.
Don't forget there'll prolly be a ton of new items, little side quests, bits and pieces.

Very much overdone recently, and has been completely and utterly destroyed by a certain franchise...

Sounds like someone wants to test their fangs against my claws!

But I digress and agree :P

Vampires taking over the world by destroying the Sun is cliche as hell, but that's what this whole thing is about. Done right, I see nothing wrong with it.

Vampires vs werewolves is overdone, and not at all interesting. There's no reason for them to go out of their way to fight each other, and I'm glad Bethesda didn't go down that road with Skyrim.

It was kinda neat how they had some vampires in the Silver Hand though, kinda like a nod to that without going all in with the "vampires and werewolves hate each other just because" cliche. Maybe there'll be some werewolf characters in the Dawnguard, but that's as far as I'd care to see it go.
