If you wanted six and a fine cooked meal, you should have never gotten married.

...I used a classic.

Wait.. She won't cook for you?? I have never gotten married in the game but the UESP says that once a day you can get a "homecooked meal" from your spouse. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Marriage#Benefits

For a balanced dragonborn diet i expect 3 hearty meals a day not just one !!! How does she expect me to take on Dragons, The empire etc. On a empty stomach

There are youtube vids out there featuring a mountaintop "divorce" by Fus Ro Dah.

Even if it had been incorporated into the game without mods, "six" in the game would likely involve little more than a dialogue exchange as you came home/went to use the bed, and then a fade to black. The romances in Baldur's Gate 2 were handled this way. The Jaheira and Viconia romances were handled very well and added tons of character depth (do not mention Triangle Face, ugh couldnt stand her), compared to what I have heard of the marraiges here.

Apparently, there is a way. It involves killing your wife and getting a New Amulet of Mara. Lucky you didn't marry Mjoll, cause she is an immortal.

No point in getting a new amulet- you're only allowed to marry once.

Why do people want six in this game? It would just be very awkward. That said, if you sleep at your home you can get a bonus called Lover's Comfort which is triggered by sleeping in the same bed as your spouse, implying six. Showing actualy booty-play would be a little to far IMO.

Maybe, but the Witcher have a very different feel. I simply do not see the point of visual six in games, it rarely adds anything.

Why do you require that your character has six?

Only that way do you get mini Dovakhins.

We demand that we engauge in sixual activty in skyrim. What is the point of marriage when you can't complete it?

The dragonborn worked his ass off from saving the world by defeating Aludin to winning the civil war. I think it's safe to say that he deserves a lot of six, which he hasn't!

I think it would be an idealtic to make it so that once you have six that about 20 points is to be added to your health that will last for about 7 hours. It would be as if you were clicking on one of those blessing things.

I'd think it would cost you some stamina or stamina regeneration. Just saying. :ermm:

But it should add some speechcraft points, just cause you're happier.

Now that would be a reason to get a divorce.

lol. No kidding. Next we need a mod where your spouse can ramdomly divorce you, take your house and all contents away, and then start deducting 2,000 gold a week from you for child support.

I have a lot of stamina to handle that kind of situation so I'm not one bit concern about that :D

I don't think my future wife (with my current charecter) would want to do that since I am the listener of the dark brotherhood. Things can get rather filthy on her part. I also bought a torture room so I'll make sure to take care of her rather slowly if you get my drift.

It's amazing how much you can get away with in Skyrim these days.

She does not give me six

This is the well known headache bug. Very tough to debug so I wouldn't hold my breath for a fix. I've heard there is a workaround, but it doesn't work very often. When you get home, give her some red mountain flowers and a sweet roll. I've heard some cases where a gold necklace also did the trick, but that's an expensive, last resort type of solution.

and she does not give me food.

Have you tried upgrading your kitchen? That sometimes fixes it for a while.

Sure work around to get all of those is to opt to live in your wife's place instead of yours apparently. Haven't tested myself, so I'm not sure if it works. I've also found that her shop can be broken as well, if you choose to live in a city she didn't come from.

To activate the lovers comfort you must first spend a night at their house.
The script that governs the lovers comfort does not activate if you tell them to go to your house immediately after the marriage.

Crap. Does that mean that I have to go back to the save just before I married my housecarl and choose living in his house (which technically was my house anyway) in order to activate this bonus? Or can I choose the "move to a new house" option, and get it activated that way? If I have to go back, that's a LOT of in game time lost.

I was also wondering if this even works at all if you marry your housecarl. The poor things seem to be very confused after the wedding. Argis lives in our Markarth house as usual, but now he uses more objects there - like the alchemy lab, the cooking pot, and his own bed (sigh). When he talks to my character he alternates between "My Thane" comments and calling her "dear". It's weird. But he will not sleep in the same bed, ever, which is annoying.
