Is it sixist?

You have a narrow view of the world. Here's an argument: Women working their way up to high-end officer positions in the military. They start as grunts, just like everybody else.

I did not say women can't be pilots or soldiers

I just said that human society is male-esk (yah short word for a long book) that's why men ask women for marraige (not other way around) and why men can just go on a bender and they are cool while women are called ...well bad things

its a man's world (like the song) .....I don't like it I wish women and men were 50/50 on the treatment scale but they are not

Yeah, but all of that is cultural. It can be changed over time. Heck, a few decades ago you could have had "That's why women can't vote" as one of your examples.

we might find another race of aliens that has a different system (like startrek race I forgot where males were actually slaves to females) but here its a man's world, mind that I'm not saying women are LESS than a man BUT I'm saying women (in most cultures, yes even westren cultures, check US for example) are well..... different (in a good way)
Even in patriarchal society, women aren't "sidekicks." Batman might be able to solo some missions without Robin. See how far the male half of the species can solo survival.

People who grow up in suburbia might have a difficult time envisioning women doing hard physical labor. Not all of us are so hindered.

Women can't go on benders? I think that's an American issue. Europe is much more relaxed in its attitudes towards both genders going on pub crawls, trawling through Amsterdam or Ibiza or just getting trashed at a party. xDD

Hardly 100,000 years. We're well on the way already as society is growing ever more equal. Cultural changes are proceeding at a pretty rapid pace. 30 years ago, gays weren't broadly accepted at all, but 30 years from now the idea of banning gay marriage will be laughable. There's a rise in women in positions of power, the sciences, etc. It's not equal yet, and there's a good ways to go, but we'll get there. The physical differences are completely irrelevant for the vast, vast majority of modern life, and will grow less significant in all areas as science continues to advace. Genetic mutation? Not needed. 100 years from now and everyone will be as physically strong as they desire, and what you get at birth won't matter -- not that it matters much these days.

As for the game, which is what this topic was about, I'll just say again that an individual woman is not going to be a completely average member of her gender. So while women are generally significantly weaker than men, that doesn't mean all of them are weaker than all men or even most men. The Dovakiin especially is going to be an exception here. Though, I'd certainly point out that in TES games apparent sixual dimorphisms seem to be less in terms of character attributes than what we have in the real world.

there's some indication that Iron Age steppe tribes always had female warriors (cf Pokrovka excavations)

this is true. The Sarmatians were known to have warrior women, though not exclusively.

Already at the age of fourteen I've stopped playing a male character, directly after the usual conversion in Dungeon Siege from Kingdom of Ehb (Single Player) to The Utraean Peninsula (Multiplayer). What did the heavy armed crowd say in 2002? They said: Muahahaha!!!
Well, that was it for me as a man and in the following I started to kill all muahahaha-dudes within range as a woman. And I've killed a lot. Killing became my business, and business was good

Yup, I'm into hardcoe (gaming), cos

...there is no hunting like the hunting of man and those who have hunted armed
men long enough and liked it, never really care for anything else thereafter.

Is there a problem?

Whatever, I fully understand the possible motives of an advlt man to choose a beautiful virtual woman as PC. By similar reasons a lil boy would probably prefer to drive an Arnold Schwarzenegger look-alike. Sounds normal to me. Nothing to worry about.

Keep in mind that it wasn't until some time in the 70's that women discovered razors.

Just sayin' . . .

just like to add to this by saying according to my computer tech teacher, who has been in the computer business a long time, women account for OVER half of managers in the IT field. so they are already equal and beyond in that area.

As for characters i am, and usually play, a man. But that's just because i base the people i play off me. In games like Skyrim where i can choose my gender AND my role, ill make a male mage. However in games where i have to choose between a female mage or a male brute, i choose the mage everytime.

Follow Ralof's path in the game's opening.
Kill the shrewish Imperial Captain.

Did a woman just die to further the game's plot? :>

psh that illustrates that the men are sidekicks. The hero knows what to do, the sidekick asks instructions and does what the hero says
And i say that fully aware that that is how i will be as a husband

On Earth, women are not suitable for medieval combat because they are physically weaker.

On Nirn, women are equally strong as men. Don't believe me? Just look at the stats! Obviously females in Tamriel have a higher muscle density than males since they are smaller but just as strong and fast.

Been pondering this here "physically weaker" part...

Here's the thing: Women might be physically weaker than men, on average. But if you still decide to, say, grab a sword, and go do some fighting, doesn't it make you MORE heroic? You're taking and overcoming much greater risks than someone who's been born with inherent size- and strength-advantage. Heroism is all about overcoming your disadvantages, and doing the right thing regardless of circumstances, after all.
People who are born exceptional and keep becoming even more exceptional make for boring characters. The most interesting characters in stories tend to be those who have the odds stacked against them, but still manage to win.
