Sky Boost by Alexander Blade

All that would need to be done for these type of mods to be compatible with NMM is for the loader to look in Data\asi\ as well as the folders it currently checks. Or for NMM to have the option to extract a mod to the Skyrim root dir.

QFT!

This would be so nice and so much easier to install if SD and Skyboost would accept "../Data/asi" as place for the .asi files, Please Alex, consider implementing this for the next version, hundretthousands of NMM & Wrye Smash/BAIN Users will be even happier with your programs as they are already.

BTW: I use Skyboost r2 for >30 hours of gameplay and no big issues for now, besides the bug with corpse "jumping" in the moment of their death. I never had that bug before in >150h of gameplay, but since i use Skyboost/TESVAL this happened around 20-25 times to me. So i'm quite sure, this is not a vanilla bug, or if it is a vanilla bug, it happens much more often with Skyboost/TESVAL as without. But it is no gamebreaker, you just have to run around a bit if a corpse disappeared and search for the new place of the corpse, since now no corpse has disappeared completely, but i think this might happen if the new random place of the corpse is under the ground.

I like SkyBoost just the way it is, drag and drop into main Skyrim folder... cant be easier, i think it should stay the way it is, because some people have such a damn hard time trying to install TESVAL and make it work.

Just a feedback of my performance
Before, I was experiencing a lot of stuttering... but read a few tweaks here and there and finally got rid of the stuttering...

What I did was disable skyrim's vsync (iPresentInterval thing)... enabled FPS limiter in enb (Using SES who's currently using ENB Series Patch 9 (to get rid of the 64hz bug)... and forced vsync using nvidia control panel (to remove screen tearing)

Now stutters are very minimal.. stutters occur only occassionally or rarely, you get the point haha... Thank you for this performance mod
What's the point to use fps killing ENB patch, when enabling vsync in control panel already limits fps to 60? And if you're on W7/Vista or with more less modern gpu - this patch is useless. I never seen bugs which it supposed to fix. Anyway, I use antilag only and don't care about screen tearing.

Please Alexander, can you make your Sky boost supported by SSE processors Athlon xp 3 Ghz which can run Skyrim.
With this tool even better.
Please, add SSE code in it.
Thx

That is so Awsome! i cant wait! thanks for all the support Alex.

I dont know how much performance increase can be get, but the more the better... i just hope they keep on supporting new Versions of Skyrim and keep it simple like just extract and drop into main Skyrim.

I signed up to this forum only to say thanks a bunch for making Skyboost, finally I'm able to play the game with decent fps on my comp with C2D 6400 (OC 2.8Ghz). Please keep up the great work, actually doing the work Betheseda should be doing in the first place!

Can you please check the links? I decided to try Skyboost but the link in your signature and in the OP is telling me that the site is down or too busy. I bet it's the latter! :)
