Proof : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkpbZzs7a94&feature=channel_video_title

When I first played Bethesda's new title, The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, I immediately knew Bethesda copied storyline, dialogue, gameplay, and various other content from other video games. Is this the future of gaming? Is this what many people really payed 59 USD for? 59 USD for content that is featured in video games such as Fallout 3, Oblivion, Call of Duty, Halo 2, Command and Conquer Generals, and so on.

Hahaha. A very well played troll video. Kudos good sir. I loved the subliminal Todd Howard face near the end. Next time overlay with a Justin Bieber "song" instead.

Well, to be honest, Skyrim is grossly unoriginal but it's a good unoriginal game.

Bullcrap 99.9% of it..

What i found was Greybeards vs Gandalf..
Ive read an article somewhere that Bethesda has been using Lord of the Rings as inspiration for their game's.
So has 99% of ALL fantasy games / movies done.. Since Lord of the Rings and Tolkien created orcs, their language, elves, their language and so forth..

If you took it seriously you need to take a sense of humour pill. On the serious side, yes the game is very unoriginal and it offer nothing to the genre that hasn't been done over and over again. The video does have a grain of truth in it in that such a big studio like Bethesda with all it's talent couldn't come up with something more original. Skyrim is just a big money spinner and it shows.

Wow... there's pretty much work in this video. Don't know how long it must take to find all those scenes in the various games. Hope it is really ment as a joke. :)

As a musician of 8 years, I can safely say that there is no such thing as originality anymore without some sort of technological advancement leading to originality, and even then, is it really original? Or is it simply just a more technical equivalent and upgraded version of what we've got already? In short, if you're looking for originality, look toward alien and otherworldly places. Otherwise, your own ideas are no more original than the next person.

I'm not sure what's funnier. The video itself, of the reactions of players in this thread who don't realize it's not meant to be taken seriously.
