I think that might've been the bladed gauntlet actually. I'll check again, but the only other language I know is some sign language, and I'm afraid I never learned the sign for "powerfist."

It definitely looked more like a Bladed Gauntlet, also what do you think that Flame Thrower looking weapon was that had a strength requirement of 4? From the illustration it looked like a Big Gun so that strength requirement really surprised me. :tops:

The light machine gun sniper rifle and one other thing requires strength 8 to wield, a bit much?

To make english speaking countries jealous?

Hgu Great avatar man. And nah it fits. The Anti Material Rifle is really really powerful and a light machine gun is really heavy, fits to have 8 STR req.

Considering the game is being made here in the United States you'd think we'd be on top of all the new info/previews yet we always end up being the ones getting shafted.

You still can carry it and wield it just won't be as effective.

The only weapon I noticed with a strength 4 requirement was an energy weapon that looked like the plasma rifle. Is that the one you're talking about?

And don't despair man! New Vegas comes out in 4 weeks, so who know how much info we might in the time being?

Well, you could, but you'd be absolute rubbish with it. The strength requirements don't restrict you from using the gun, just from being any good with it.

I imagine someone at Bethesda or Zenimax is sitting there with a sinister laughter and going "HAHAHAhahahahahaaaa, figure out the clues my little puppets!!!".
I don't mind though because I live in sweden so I'm used to not being informed. >_>

In the immortal words of Jeff Lynne, don't bring me down. :disguise:

Really though, does anyone remember how much info was released for Fallout 3 four months before release?

Looking good. Is it me or have they been improving the animations as of late?

Sniping looks a lot better. I was disapointed with how sniping felt in Fallout 3.

He was not speaking in Spanish, Trust me.
"Anonimo Misterioso" litterally means "Mysterious Stranger".

It's not just you.The graphics have more color(even the mutants have more color),the graphics look a bit more improved and the running and walking animations are much improved. It's for the best anyway. It looks better.

Same.I hope that if you're able to max out the small guns skill, the swaying of the sniper stops like in FO3.It helps keep a steady aim.It doesn't look like just the sniping but the shooting mechanics look improved for me.

You know, the combat somehow looks "tighter" overall to me. Is it just because I haven't played Fallout 3 in a while?

Can't be just you.I played it about...2 days ago(?) and the shooting does look improved or "tighter".

Was it only 4? Anyway, sounds reasonable to me...especially if his Guns skill was high. I wasn't a huge fan of the bullet sponge enemies in FO3 anyway.

50 Cal to the brain should mean DEAD. Dunno about you, but I don't think that a mutated forehead means that you can absorb bullets like a sponge.

Gameplay was awesome, even though I couldn't understand a damn thing other than the numbers. I was kind of disappointed that they only showed 3 weapons. It would have been a whole lot better if they had the menu in English so we could learn a little more about the weapons. That was the best shot of the weapons menu so far, and most of us cant even read it... :sadvaultboy:

I remember someone saying they hoped the Nightkin would stalk and ambush players...
seems around 1:10 in the video the Nightkin at least tried to surprise him .-.
