Something I just found on the tvtropes Fallout: New Vegas discussion thread, a 2 minute 45 sec video with some game footage from the Tokyo Game Show.

The host is speaking Italian, and the game text is in Japanese, so...I couldn't understand a thing, and it's not anything incredibly interesting either. Mostly just the Courier finishing a conversation with a super mutant, then going a little ways down a road and getting into a firefight with other super mutants, including a Nightkin. Still, it's a nice little bit of combat footage that I thought everyone might appreciate, since their hasn't been a lot of news lately.

And...is it just me, or do the super mutants have a new running animation?

*edit* And yes, it has been confirmed that it's Italian in the video, not Spanish, so ya'll don't have to keep correcting eachother. :goodjob:

I noticed they had a new walking animation. Not sure about running though. I think the animations for human characters are looking great though. Not "robotic" by any means.

well there a few things to note, at least the shiskebab makes a return (around 1:27 ya can see it briefly in the weapons menu), hinting that the home made weapons make a return

I noticed how fast the Plasma Caster was, I wish I could read Japanese and understand Spanish. (Being the typical American I am I'll probably never learn another language other then English.) :tops:

Did anyone spot any new weapons in the Pip-Boy menu? I saw a few pictures of weapons I didn't recognize.

Anyway, from that video, there are new animations for super mutants, and, IMO, the game is looking a lot better graphically.

I noticed that as well. The Super Mutants looked great especially their faces, looks like a lot of love and detail went into those models. :tops:

Nope. That's-a Italian. Just look at the hand gestures. Your hands only do that if you're speaking Italian.

I speak Spanish pretty well, so when you said that I had to check back just to make sure I wasn't having a stroke or something.

And it looks like the vegetation(pretty sure there was some cacti there) is looking good too.

Hgu you should edit your post cause otherwise there's going to be like 30 posts telling you it's Italian. (Some people just reply to the first thing they see without reading further).

So it wasn't just my tired eyes deceiving me. Good news!

I assume this is the quest where you storm the super mutant mountain fortress with that temporary mutant follower.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that was italian, and yes I noticed those weapons also!

I'm assuming so as well, after he talked to the Super Mutant he got 50 exp so he must have been able to convince that Mutie through [SPEECH] to turn traitor against his friends. :tops:

I noticed the power fist (I think it was the power fist) got a new illustration

I think you saw the new punch blade, unless I missed something you saw.

I think that might've been the bladed gauntlet actually. I'll check again, but the only other language I know is some sign language, and I'm afraid I never learned the sign for "powerfist."

*edit* Pretty sure that's the bladed gauntlet.
