ya, i just like to kill stuff. challenge is ok, but if its too much its just annoying and boring. id much rather do stuff than try to do stuff
Like I said, everyone is different. I get really, REALLY tired of just going around killing things. If a game doesn't at least occasionally make me think or force me to learn something to succeed I get really bored, really fast. There are a zillion other games out there that just give me targets to shoot. I don't need more of them. My twitch action skills are already good...don't need more target practice.

So, for you too much challenge is boring, but for me a lack of challenge is boring. Unless the game is nearly impossible I enjoy being given obstacles to overcome. I've played enough games in my life (been a gamer for nearly 26 years) that I've started seeing the majority of games on the market as "just more of the same junk." If there's nothing for me to figure out then there's no point in playing, because I've probably played 10 other games just like it and I don't need to play it again.
Like I said, everyone is different. There's no right or wrong.
i agree i mean apparently in the original fallouts when you fought a BOS or a enclave soldier it was EXTREMLY difficult like they were guys you never wanted to mess with
Hehe...yeah, there were some parts of Fallout 2 that were pretty challenging. I remember Enclave patrols killing off all or most of my party before I even had a chance to shoot.

Good times.
Here's a radical idea. If you think that power armor makes the game too easy, don't wear power armor. If you think top shelf weapons such as plasma rifles or Gatling lasers or the infamous Lincoln's Repeater make the game too easy, don't use those weapons. Just because these items exist that doesn't mean you're obligated to use them.
Problem solved, you're welcome.
Yes yes...we'll just play around all of every game's shortcomings. That way the developers don't have to put any thought into game balance or pacing and the players can do all of that work themselves. Thanks! That's great! We don't even need difficulty settings now.
Holy crap, double rainbow!!! *points*
