FO3?
Played on Very Hard and only had regular Combat Armor and nerfed my characters END stat and perks and didn't use VATS.
Was still too easy.

Internet tough guy hmm?

Anywho, as a 'I hope they don't' make aliens like MZ did, I want to take a long, VERY long break from aliens in Fallout.

Did you only play 50 hours? i got four characters first: lvl 29 whit like no exp to lvl and about 160 + gameplay. second: lvl 28 half way to 29, 124 hours gameplay. 1 lvl 1He4 whit about only 12 hours gp.
Then my current character lvl 8, 10 hours gameplay,

just a tip, if you don't like the way the game goes change the armor^^ my favorite set of gear is Dirty Chinese Jumpsuit whit Blastmaster Helmet and the Ol'Painless. and also Chinese Stealth Suit whit Talon Helmet and samurai sword. Btw does anyone knows if Blastmaster Helmet will be in NV? if not  .

But i do agree whit you about the PC gets invincible whit the grim reaper spirit and stuff.

I'm too distracted by the actual game to be looking at my hours of gameplay. The only thing I know for sure, is that it would take hours to delete all of my fallout saves.

hardcoe mode, you cannot max out all of your skills, and companions do not steal xp, all of this and more information can be found at the wiki! The vault is your friend :)

..is one of the things people didn't like about the 100% auto-leveling thing Oblivion had going - you never reached a point where you could go back to a "starting area" and one shot the weak dudes you had trouble with at the start. So people never felt like they were getting more powerful.

Oblivion got it great, there was always a challenge as long as you didnt slide down the difficulty, the main quest was even more of a challenge at higher levels.

I hope Fallout NV will be balanced all through the game. Fallout 3's endgame crap was really annoying. You had hundreds of stimpaks, billions of ammo and bullet sponges to shoot at..

I've always had a problem with Power Armor in the Fallout games. In 1 and 2, if you happened to run into anyone with Power armor before you had it yourself, it was a near guarantee that your whole party was going to be dead before you could get out of there. Then, when you did get it, you were nearly invulnerable, save for a random lucky crit that one shot you. In 3, it seemed like basically the same problem. There is such a large power gap between regular armor and power armor. You're either too vulnerable with something else, or too comfortable with Power Armor. I really wish there was some kind of intermediate armor in between, or some kind of design flaw of Power Armor (I always thought it would be neat if Pulse grenades knocked you down for a few seconds, considering you're walking in POWER armor.) Hopefully this is addressed better in NV, or it's mods.
