StarX AV Packages - Creature Variants

IMPORTANT: These packages can only be used with http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1355628-relwip-automatic-variants/.

Because I don't want to clutter the original thread of Automatic Variants with my releases for it I made this thread where I'll post anything related to my own AV packages.None of my textures replaces the vanilla textures and all the variants are based on the high-res texture from the official Bethesda DLC.

Released:

StarX AV Package Giants
http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/files/file/1152-starx-av-package-giants/
This is a ready-to-use package that contains 10 different retextures for the giants. By using Automatic Variants all the giants that spawn in the game have an equal chance to either use the vanilla texture
or one of the ten textures in this package. The textures were designed to fit in nicely in Skyrim, so you won't see any bright blue giants running around.
They do have several skintones, haircolors, body- and facepaint and occasionally some giants will have green eyes instead of blue.

StarX AV Package Draugr
http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/files/file/1175-starx-av-package-draugr/
This is biggest package so far! Why? Because they're so common that they need the variety they can get and simply because I like making gory textures. Comes in two parts, so make sure you download both!
NEW! Make sure to grab the Female Draugr Add-on as well!

NEW CREATURE MODULES:
These mods add "new" creatures to the game, like Frost Giants and Goblins. As these are standalone mods that come with their own dedicated AV Package I will just list the threads right here:
http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1366789-relz-starx-frost-giants-including-av-package/

Work in progress:

Copied from the other thread:

These give me a feeling similar to WAC. Diversity that's distinct and immersive. Especially with the Giants, they feel very "alive" in those photos. Great work StarX!!
Thanks, mate! Hope there will be more variety in the meshes as well in the future.

It doesn't have to be pretty when I kill it. It just has to bleed!

Cool mod!
Thanks!

You're welcome.

Woohoo! Onra! Great to see you, mate!

OK, the Falmer will probably take a bit longer as I'm not totally satisfied with the variants that had eyes as they didn't look natural for underground dwellers. So I'm playing around with some textures to make them look more like blind or half-blind eyes. Here's an example and I believe eyes like that will fit the Falmer much better:

Thanks, guys!

I think I will be doing some troll variants first instead of hagravens, as I want to play around with fur.

Looking forward to the Troll release! Somewhere down the line would you consider the Dwemer Constructs? Lots you could do with them such as tarnish, metal colour, and mismatched metals (as if they required a replacement pieces during their long operational life).

Oh, that could be interresting indeed. I love making old rusty metal textures! Should make them look scarier as well I think.

His colouring reminds me of the oblivion realms! Daedric infused trolls, scary!

Nice work once again :)

Updated the main post with 5 variants for the cave troll and a shot of the vanilla version to compare them to. (:

I was working on Giants and Hagraven's myself. I may postpone the Giants for now as yours isn't going overboard and are all artsy

And I shall use them. Why haven't I downloaded this sooner (though I've yet to meet with any Falmer in the game so I didn't see your pictures on them, but I'm sure they look lovely [scary]!)?

{edit} You are a STAR(x).

Hehe, thanks Porscha!

Currently there are some problems with the Falmer, but Leviathan is working on a fix for it, should add that to the main post as well.

Can't wait to see your Hagravens and of course your version of the giants. :tops:

Those look really good! Like others mentioned the giants seem to come alive in those screenies and the falmer look even more gruesome! I look forward to playing with this one.

Yup, you can mix your own textures with other packages so they'll both show up. AV is amazing like that!

Anyway, ever wondered why frosttrolls basically look the same as the normal cave trolls except for the fur color? Not anymore! Added handpainted horns and more fur to make them better suited for Skyrim's harsh northern climate:
