Steam, etc Deals

Unless you have a wheel then don't. I tried out a couple of demos of racing games and a keyboard and mouse svcks hard for them.

I tried a Need for Speed game with a controller and it didn't seem too bad, so thats another option. But keyboard and mouse does make playing difficult.

My wallet was so happy with all the mediocre sales the past couple of weeks, why did you have to ruin that steam?

I'm going to have to buy toca race driver 3, might have bought the whole pack if I hadn't bought X3 gold yesterday, got to set the limit somewhere (glad I didn't cave in on any of the R* sales).

Burnout Paradise with just a keyboard (perfect for laptops, since there's no need for mouse at all) was amazing. I was so pleased with that game on my laptop. Of course, no other game has really done what it did.

Only one, but that wont change the fact that I have 51 games on steam already.

Oh no I meant in total, not just recently. :P

Or you mean you've only bought one ever, in which case, wat?

In total 51 games yes, but I only bought one during Rockstar sales.

42 currently, most bought during sales and hardly played (with Oblivion at 610 hours ).

BTW, is anyone else having problems starting games? There's was a major UI update, and now Steam is stuck in "Scanning for Updates", in offline mode it gets stuck in "Building Steam games list".

I've bought 54 games, most recently with the Deus Ex pack.

I got my collection off to a good start when I bought the Half-Life Silver pack back when it came out. Gave me a solid 25 or so games. Since then I have never spent more than $25 on a game and it's wonderful.

Only a couple, really. Mainly because I don't have a lot of money to spend. However, I will be wasting a lot of money on the Christmas specials, if they have them again.

8 games = D

I have other PC games, I just don't install them all to Steam, and the majority just aren't installed on this computer.

Then there's the 100 or so 360/PS3 games and 100 or so PS2/Xbox games.

23 games total. A lot of that is from Sam & Max seasons 1&2 which was a single purchase. I generally try to avoid buying games on Steam unless they're really cheap or require it anyway.

I've only bought 3 games, but I also downloaded 3 free games. Like I said earlier, I don't like digital distribution so I only buy games that are less than about $5 and I usually have the intention of buying a physical copy of them at some point.

Awesome! I'm planning to buy this but will my low end laptop be able to run it on lowest settings? My graphics card is Nvidia GeForce 8200M G.

My 7600GS had trouble running it above 1 fps with everything set to min and res at 800x600. My gaming computer is without an internet connection though. :(

Aw darn. I don't think I'll be able to run it without lots of stuttering. :(
