First Thought: Well, they're rebels, so they're not gonna have all the high-quality stuff.

Second Thought: Compared to rebel outfits I've seen in other games, this isn't that bad at all. I half expected them all to be wandering around in baggy, torned robes with matching hood all the time.

Only gripe is tht its a variation of the guard armors. Which make sense but I always want more armor.

I like it. It looks random. When the colonists were rebelling against the British, they didn't have uniforms, they just wore the clothes they had. Why would these Stormcloak rebels be any different? I think the one consistent thing we might see in their armor or clothing is that shade of blue. I think the blue is a quiet way of saying "Psst... I'm with the Stormcloaks." or a way for the Stormcloak rebels to recognize each other.

They look like I want to chop their head off slightly less than the Imperial Legionaries. Their armor has a certain humbleness to it, as I'm sure is intentional. The Imperial Legion armor in the G4 video had this certain awe too it, in comparison. That's probably going to end up being an intentional design choice. Mud Crab Chitin Armor, complete with goggles, would look a lot more awesome than both of these, though.

Looks fantastic to me. In seeing those helmets in the videos though I'm wondering how beast races will wear them. Closed helmets in Oblivion solved this problem by taking both the hair and head slot. But---and I may be wrong---I could swear in the videos it looks like eyes behind those helmets, indicating only the hair slot is being taken.

I'd like my hair to hang out underneath the helmets thanks. -_-

I do not wear helmets at all in ES games as a result of actually wanting to see my head. I didn't go through character creation to make my character look awesome only to never see him/her.

Looks appropriate for the Stormcloaks, but I prefer more Heavy and bulky armour so personally I would prefer the Legion armour over this.

I think it looks great. I really like that the visuals in Skyrim are a bit more grounded in reality and actually stand out from the crowd with their simple elegance rather than trying so hard to be epic that the result is just boring.
