I just, on my latest toon (number 20 or so....) ran across a mammoth, frozen upright in a wall of ice. Wow....

Where? I want to see that.

Well.... I'll see if I can retrace my route when I'm in game tomorrow. I was.... I *think* heading out onto the glacier from just above Hob's Fall Cave.... but I'm not positive. I'll see if I can find it again tomorrow.

After just doing the Hircine's quest. I chose to Skin Sinding. I fast travel to Falkreath, and a guard comes to me to tell me I've convicted for assault. No Biggy. I come out of the Falkreath Barracks and I see a Blood Dragon take off in the middle of the city. I equip my spells, and get ready for a fight. Wait....All the sudden a Frost Dragon lands. In my head I was like "WTF?!?" Yes. 2 dragons at one time. So I summon my daedra, 'Rally' the townsfolk and out of the corner of my eye, something black. I glance over and it's Sinding! The Werewolf I just killed! (Of course all he can do is stare at the flying Dragons). So after the battle, I heal the guards/townsfolk and walk up to Sinding. His only response: "I never thought I'd see you again" Touché, Zombie-like Werewolf. Touché.

I've seen 3 dragons around the small towns like Falkreath; normally 2 will be close & hostile, the 3rd is on its way into the mountains.

I was heading towards Mount Anthor, leaving from Winterhold, when I saw a flash of text as I was running. So I stop and turn around and I see "Search Horse" but theres no horse visible there, just bare ground. I was in fact able to search, and there was horse meat. So I continue on my way to the mountain, and about a minute later, a horse goes flying across the screen.

I know hired thugs can turn up if you steal from someone but on my current character, who is generally "good", I stole very little and was surprised to see the appearance of said thugs. Was it the Argonian Ale I took in Whiterun, or perhaps Lod's letter? No, the note I found on the thug's corpse had been sent by "a Briarheart". That would be the fellow I killed by pickpocketing his heart, eh?

I've had a Nord, Imperial, and Argonian have a go at me for no reason.

Okay, here's a map screenie of where the freeze-dried mammoth is: mammoth is in the ice-wall just ahead of the character pointer. Yes, it is below the Lighthouse/Hob's Fall area.

I have no idea what I ran into, so can anyone explain this?
As I was running doing a bee-line to Ivarstead I heard the death-squawks of chickens so out of curiosity I started exploring to see what was killing the innocent.
What I found South across the water and slightly East of Geirmund's Hall on top of a rocky hill was a barrel encased in bones and adorned with skulls that had a nest on top of it. Nearby were ash piles that contained chicken briasts. Undead chickens?

Having Necromancers trying to kill me because of the person I killed during the Azuras Star quest.

I wondered into a small village and out of no where ice spikes were flying at me.

Aren't Necromancers hostile anyway? I've never met one that didn't try to kill me.

There are specific ones that'll come after you like thugs and they have a similar note on them from someone sending them after you. Seems Necromancers don't like the idea of their boss being permanently dead. :P

I had a pack of bears with the best combat training I've ever seen. At first it was just one cave bear. The bear chased me to a heavily wooded area, and as I got ready to attack it a second bear jumped from the bushes. I had to run a bit to think of a better plan and as I did that the two bears closed in on me in a V formation. I run into a mountain and placed my back to it as I got ready to fight the two bears. Just as the two bears reached me two more bears jumped down from some where on top of the mountain. So I was then faced with four cave bears, who had this whole thing planned. Crafty bears.

A bit later I went to Riften, where a guard was being chased by a whole pack of cave bears.

Holy crap. What difficulty level? Master? Did any of the bears have a green kinda' glow on them? There could've been Spriggans around, but still... :o

I've had a simillar experience in Riften with 4 bears, 2 sprigans, and a dragon. It happens near the dragon lair in South East Corner of the map.

You can get a tusk and snout off of it if I remember correctly.

Had a weird encounter yesterday west of Whiterun. Was off-roading back to Whiterun in the middle of the day and saw a group of four walking in the same direction. I thought it was strange because it wasn't the normal Stormcloak, Imperial, Thalmore type group. Nearly got within speaking range when one of them turns and starts swinging a battle axe. Turns out it was three bandits and, of all things, a frost spell-casting skeleton. Took two wacks to drop the skeleton. Used the disarm shout to take down a bandit. Janessa got the rest.
