Some green made in china and from china, candy. Not really candy.. some sort of gelatine sugar bomb. Very odd.

By my own standards, I haven't really eaten much of anything I consider strange, but I'm used to eating a variety of multicultural foods and am especially familiar with certain ones people have stated as being weird as I've basically grown up with some of those foods. A few of those foods I've grown up being used to that I'll bet some people on here would find unusual are beef tongues, lamb brains, and lamb testicles.

Also, I'm not quite sure about this one, but are chicken hearts and gizzards considered strange to any of you? I don't know what those are considered to be. Regardless, I eat them, too.

I love chicken hearts and gizzards, my dad cooks them up when we go camping. Me and him are the only ones in our family that will eat them though.

I'm not sure what it's called or if it even has a name. During survival training my instructor handed me a bit of sap off of a nearby tree and told me to eat it. I was a bit skeptical but I ate it anyway. The next couple of minutes were spent trying to clean the stuff off my teeth while my instructor laughed his ass off.

I made a bet with friend some years ago that I will eat in 3 weeks 3 weird african dishes: fried termites, elulu (white larva of big horned beetles roasted on stick) and dog meat pepper soup.
I did it.
The best was obviously the dog meat pepper soup, I ate all, it was DELICIOUS.
The fried termites were very salty, crispy and did not taste much.
The larva were DIGUSTING. People are often saying it taste like butter or with "a light haselnuts taste". That's bs. It tasted like spoiled butter, this butter you will leave to rotten under the sun for 2 days on a summer day or the one you find in your fridge after coming back from holidays.

I was in Korea at the end of 2009 and fetched up at some small restaurant with no English language anywhere. We pantomimed for the waitress to bring us food, and ended up with a variety of dishes. One bowl contained small bean-sized things that were segmented like bugs. We were all pretty sure they were indeed of insectoid origin but tried them anyway. They were surprisinly OK (we finished the bowl). Turns out they were "beondegi" - silworm pupae.

I've also eaten at Heston Blumenthal's restaurant, The Fat Duck. Cost me a week's salary but it was totally worth it. There were some very odd things on the menu but I supposed the oddest was "snail porridge." Sounds vile - I don't even like regular porridge, but it was surprisingly nice. The oaty part was formed into a bright green brick and flavoured with herbs, and the snails were on top. They just looked like little pieces of meat and were wonderfully tender and delicious, and not rubbery in the slightest.

I agree. Just because you can salt a snail, doesn't mean you should eat a snail.

It didn't taste bad at all, though. :P

Cooked and served with seasoned butter. Kinda like eating a mushroom, although knowing what I was chewing made me feel a bit icky.

Mines would be rotten fish with lettuces; its a delicacy of Asia. I don't know how to pronounce it in English but its kind of salty.

Yeah, once you can get past thinking about what your eating, it's pretty easy. Well, I've never had snails, but generally speaking, I think. And so long as you like the flavor. Otherwise, it would be tough for me to keep it down.
