That furry thread

SNIP
Did I just get lectured, I think I did and I didn't even say if I was or wasn't one
That was a lecture though :P

Was Davey Crocket a furry for wearing a Racoon on his head?
Was PapaFern less of a person for not knowing who Davey Crocket was? No.... Is the answer to your question no?

Eh, http://animalmakers.com/store/products/Fox-Mask-%28New-Build-Purchase%29.html
Not quite the same as I was looking for, and $3,800+ for it as well  :bonk:
Does anyone actually buy those, because that is on hell of a steep price....

- It makes the sword I bought look like a plastic toy when comparing price

Told ya it wasn't cheap. :P

Are you looking for a more "toony" look? A simple mask instead of a full head?

Toony fursuits (and individual parts like heads of course!) are actually cheaper than realistic ones.

Well, I was imagining it meant what some of us call "The dark side of furry fandom", but whatever you say, if I explained more this thread might get some flamers.

Edit:
If double-posts are against this forum's rules, then I just made a derp XD.

Heh. "Derp" reminded me of Derpy Hooves, which then reminded me to check on FCN's programming list... and there's a MLP event! I can get my furry and my brony on at the same time! :fluttershy_yay:

Hmm, moderators came and went, so apparently this thread is approved, for now atleast. Just try not link to any site with explicit images like the last time ;)

Anyway, there is a reason why i prefer non-human charaters in games if possible ;) But that includes elves and aliens in addition to khajiits :hehe:

But even i find those "fursuiters" nuts. "Nuts" as in "i do not comprehend their way of thinking", not "should be locked into a padded room" :hehe:

I thought by it not being cheap that it would cost a hundred or so, but that's, that's dear to the extreme :P
Like http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110117134811/fallout/images/thumb/a/a9/Vulpes_Inculta.jpg/303px-Vulpes_Inculta.jpg, I had planned to make my own costume but don't have the time or effort, and it looks better as an effort.

I don't think that site has any explicit images.
I've never noticed any I've called explicit, the site may link to other sites which have explicit images, but that's like saying you're not allowed to link to Tesnexus!

Oh. That guy. You don't want to know what I did to that guy when I met him in New Vegas. You should see the stares I give people at Renaissance Faires who wear real fox tails.

Well... that was what happened last time, more or less. Best not to dwell on the past.

Well, whatever you say!
I don't want any flames or trolls lurking around, neither do I want the admins/moderators closing this, so I'll just answer any questions I can myself!
I did not expect actual interest from the community, but rather the rare fur and maybe that annoying troll every so often.

I thought this was like the LARP-ing thread (that was a pretty heated discussion itself). Turns out it's a fetish of some sort?

No more so than anything else. Each group has its members who take things to certain extremes, whether it is fetishistic stuff or other extremes. Just like Star Trek fandom or Anime fandom can do as well.

Vulpes is wearing a dog's head. You may have a hard time finding a dog's head cap in the real world

I think you better tell your parents because it's the right thing to do. If my kid say hey, I'm emo or I'm gangsta, or whatever I'll be grateful to know before it's too late.

Why do you need to tell your parents if it will cause hassle? My parents don't know about all of my hobbies or interests.

I think it comes down to knowing that there is something about you of which your family wouldn't approve, and having to constantly police your actions in front of them so you don't slip up. That must be quite a [censored] feeling. Good for him for wanting to be more honest in his relationships, I say, regardless of the fallout that might happen... It's better to have a relationship based on truth rather than perceived truth.

You should not be touching a cell on that mans skin, or even breathing his air!! Admire from a distance or get on a cross :pinch:
But yeah...That guy :)

Nope it's a fox, it would make sense for someone called Desert Fox to wear a dog, especially since there are no ingame dogs with similar textures.

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Talk:Vexillarius_helmet. I read it was a dog. . somewhere. The other wiki says http://www.falloutwiki.com/Vexillarius_helmet. It's too large for a fox and it's the wrong color (assuming foxes look the same after a nuclear apocalypse). Dogs and coyotes are confirmed 'lore' animals in game. Foxes aren't. /end completely off topic rant

But there are no dogs in the game that look like his hat. NCR/Fiend dogs are bald and scabby, Legions dogs are covered in thick brown fur and then theirs the random huskey dogs. It might be a coyote. But I'm sure it's mentioned in game that it is a fox.
