The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim should've been called The Elder Sc

I'm sick of all you Canadians, you think everything is about you and your country. Like for example, Fallout(which is a USA game meant to be set in the USA only!); I was watching a video for it about where the next one should be set in and guess what. Someone just popped up and said Fallout 4 should be set in Canada! Then I was watching a video on Youtube and then a guy pops up and says, "The best part of this video is that they're Canadian.", and then there's this thread. I don't know about you, but I'm personally tired of hearing that word 'CANADIAN!!' over 9000 times a day.

You know why people want Fallout in Canada? Because of the city of Ronto.

As a non-Canadian, just off the top of my head, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burning_of_Washington and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juno_beach come to mind. Also, there was that time you were FUS-RO-DAHing dragons all over the frozen wilderness. :ahhh:

LOL someone actually knows of the burning of washington?!? Not even many Canadians know that we burned it back in the War of 1812.

Haha so true. Russia gets colder than Canada though. I am from Western Canada. To be honest French French people from France are not very good looking. French Canadians from Montreal are extremely good looking. It is almost like when a child is born and they are beautiful babies they send them to Montreal, and if they are ugly they get sent to Toronto....... Vancouver happens to be a great place to live, why? Girls out number men 3-1, and 35% of men there are gay.... something to ponder there.

I totally objectivly agree with you... as a Quebecer in Montreal I'm well placed to judge.

You'd be correct sir, the British Army set fire to the White House, they may have been one or two Regiments raised from Canada in the action but "Canada" existed as "British North America" at the time. Its a little thing Canadians love to brag about without the facts. Its usually done in the spirit of jest.

True Stormcloak-love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
And stand on guard, O Skyrim-da,
We stand on guard for thee.
O Skyrim-da, glorious and free!

We're the only ones who invaded and burned the White House to the ground.

Who else can say they did that?

Nobody eh?

Elder Scrolls: Canada --- perish the thought!

Not even if Prime Minister Stephen Harper was the ultimate Boss and we all got to give him his heavenly reward.

As for the fierce political infighting and pointless squabbling, hmm... what other country comes to mind?

That's why they have the White House today. We burned the original.

Also Canadian Football is so hard... it only has 3 downs!

I love NFL cant go back to canadian football. CFL though is harder but you dont have to think as fast, bigger field, bigger ball, less mistakes so there are only 3 downs but slower gameplay.
Canadians are tough. We were in both ww1 and ww2 before the usa because we were still governed by england. Have you guys ever heard of storm troopers...... If it wasnt for us North America would still be forced to work 24/7 with no overtime.......

Using WW2 and implying that the canadians were sttorm troopersmay not have been a great idea.

They are still Canadians because it was those colonists that built Canada into what it is today. It was the British who settled in USA, but will that be admitted noooo, guess cause Americans tend to hate everything, French, British, Canadians. I am not anti american, my gf is from Spokane, I just don't like the general thought process of the young folks in the united states today. I have a friend who goes all over the world on work Visa from Mexico and he has been to the USA 2 times and hated them both. Sit down in a bar there and say hi to someone they literally get up and walk away. In Canada we say hi back and meet someone new. We are a very proud, polite, and welcoming people. Yes we tend to judge alot, but who really doesn't? we do not kick ass like alot of other countries because we have better things to spend our money on outside of the military like oh I don't know.... HEALTH CARE. Oh and for the record, Canada has the best small army in the world, so considering how little we care about war we can protect ourselves pretty darn well which I find to be more important than trying to force our ideals onto others(kind of like what I am doing right meow lol). ANY WAYS, this whole speal isn't geared towards you person I am quoting, just a general to the people hatting on Canadians on this thread.

No he meant that the definition of storm troopers are WWI German units that were specially trained to assault allied trenches. Canadians were spear head units in the hundred days, not as specialised troopers, but because of their reputation (after all, we did give the allies some victories despite all odds).

I'd say that Australin diggers are shock troops more than Canadians,

And I think Erwin Rommel would agree

I'd have to agree... the ANZAC troopers got their nose bloodied, but still fought on. I have tremendous respect for the Aussise and Kiwi's fighting spirit.

But you can't ignore what the Canadian Corps did at the Battle of Vimy Ridge during WWI. They too have guts and grit that this ex-US Navy serviceman can respect.

As a Canadian when im not moose hunting im probably killing dragons, and if im not doing that im playing skyrim and ive noticed that they're practically the same place!

Its always snowing and it pretty damn cold.

The wildlife is basically the same.

I noticed that Nords are all incredibly sixy fair haired people who kick ass, just like Canadians (except for the french ones.

If someone steals something in one of our cities EVERYONE swarms that one guy, ever wondered why the crime rate in Canada is so low compared to the US?

all of our police officers ride horses and once took an arrow to the knee

We have free healthcare.

1. French Canadian women tend to be HOT.

2. You're right though; Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is pretty much "Welcome to Banff, Alberta". :P

3. Just like us Canadians, the Nords are walking around in the cold in t-shirts.

Seeing as how a lot of the story and characters appear to be loosely based on Norse mythology, a case could also be made for Norway and/or that region.
