the house you get in dragonborn is better then all the house

If you could swap out the bed for a coffin then I might agree.

Raven Rock, it's a series of quests, I think, at least they seemed to trigger each other. Start with the councilors, IIRC, definitely ends with them.

Starts with the Guard Captain just outside the Bullwork near that farm.

You prove yourself there, then he sends you to the councilor. I think.

Is that the only house? Last I heard you could get something at the Telvanni village too.

I haven't got it yet (I'm going to start the quest so I can get me some storage without having to go back to the mainland) but I seriously doubt its better than the Hearthfire homes. It'll certainly take something special to beat my Winstad Manor.

I have to agree Windstad Manor rocks. It's the only house I've built so far with HF ever since I've had no need to use another one. Still, I'd prefer something that reminds me of Morrowind.

A chest and a bed thats all you get there. Nothing special (I think the bed is broken as well ... all of them are "owned" when I look at them.)

It is a reward for finishing a questline. Go east out of the city to the nearby farm and help Captain Veleth to fight off Ash Spawn, if you want to start the questline.

Did that, then he sent me to fetch a wine stash. After that, nothing. Didn't send me to talk to anyone. Didn't offer me more options.

If it's the House in Raven Rock, It's nice but, I perfer the Hearthfire houses, Hearthfire has more to offer. Plus, It's your house, Not an Already Criminal House

Did you speak to Adril Andrano(however his name is spelt) after that? The second councillor handles the questline after that point.

Ok, Captain Veleth just cornered me in Raven Rock and told me to see the Second Councillor. I think problem solved.

The house is awesome.. however i feel there is not enough light sources on the lower floor.. Can be quite dark and cold.

Spoiler
After i done the quest to receive house and killed the original inhabitants, one of the bodies no longer shows in the house, the other one.. unfortunately does. Just threw her behind a huge hay pile where you can't see it..

It is certainly the most unique house. I like it a lot, I was a fan of the Indarys Manor in Morrowind.

Indarys Manor itself was decent, but it was in the worst piece of [censored] location in the game. Blight Storms 24/7, and after defeating Dagoth Ur, Ash Storms 24/7. It might as well of been on Red Mountain, within the Ghostgate. Tel Uvirith wasn't in that great of a location either, but at least the house itself was [censored] awesome, and didn't have nearly as many Blight/Ash Storms. Rethan Manor, great location, average house.

I love this house, but I probably won't live in it. I love the set up I've got at Lakeview manor, with my wife, kids, steward and housecarl. Still, I think the house in Raven Rock is a really cool and unique option. I love the architecture and the layout.

I mainly want to get a house here so I can store stuff and not burden myself and follower with all the stuff that I hoard. It will be an added bonus to have a house with different architecture and decor.

If you can't handle a little bad weather, you're not tough enough for House Redoran ;)

Eh it's okay, still waiting for a castle with 30+ mannequins and enough weapon plaques for every item in the game, and a dragon's skull above my bed.
