The most interesting book you have read..

My favorite so far is the Palla series. I loved the twist at the end. I also really liked the Khajiit themed books Ahziir Traajijazeri and Words of Clan Mother Ahnissi.

Withershins-just cause I found myself making sure that it was following the standards of the curse it was talking about.

Yaknow I just read the Cabin in the Woods because of this post. I found it kinda like a story an eight year old would make up for an in-class scary story contest...

the stone singer or something like that. very high fantasy and i am an escapist.

reminds me of the hobbit because of how whimsical it feels.

Horror of Castle Xyr, The Locked Room and Last Scabbard of Akrash (as a side note, many dark elf women seem to have a thing for khajiits :hubbahubba:) i've liked.

But there are many, many books that i haven't read in the game. Not to mention if all the books COBL had are included in a Skyrim mod :lmao:

The Gentleman's Guide to Whiterun

Interesting there is such a book. I'm going to publish a book on where to go for women in my city.

I can't recall the name off the top of my head, but there's this Inn in the middle of nowhere with an Orc who rents the basemant... there's a book (I think the orc is the playwrite) with a play scene about two theives robbing a house where everyone was murdered and watching their ghosts. I really wished there was more to it :(

You mean the most interesting book that made their initial appearance in Skyrim that I've read or the most interesting that is simply in the game and has stumbled across my eyes? I ask... because I find it strange that most of the books people are listing here I've read long before Skyrim's arrival.

Keep in mind, The Real Barenziah has a semi large chunk of advlt content. And not that joking content like The Lusty Argonian Maid. I mean like serious advlt content.
It can't be worse than Daggerfall's versions.

Also, mine would probably the Lady of the Woods or whatever it was called- the one about the ghost with the axe in the woods.

I'm planning on reading all of my books when completing the game, but my favorite book so far is A Marksmanship Lesson. A quaint and funny story.

No idea what it's called but I found it in the basemant of an inn and:
Spoiler
There was an orc author laying low there I think it has something to do with the DB questline, he seemed to be the author of this particular book.

Anyway the book is written like a stage play and it's about these two robbers who are rummaging through an 'Abandoned' house, taking anything that isn't nailed down. The thing is it's haunted by the spirits of the old residents. I won't reveal too much but it is a quick, fun read that took me totally off guard and gave me a chuckle

Kolb and the Dragon. I loved those Choose Your Own Adventure books when i was a little kid. I always end up killing Kolb and never meeting a dragon though. :(

I also liked The Effects of the Elder Scrolls. Interesting read.

Reading "the oblivion crisis" was nice. gave me a sense of... knowledge. Oh, and "the great war" helped me understand.
