I don`t often read books (even in Morrowind, but sometimes one actually starts in an interesting way and keeps me reading. In fact some books are VERY mature in their content to my surprise, like one about these high level prosttutes who got in with high society. It was all really from a female perspective but was quite fascinating without all the 21st century crap you get.

It was sad in the end though because she just fell off a cliff after a strange little girl in her head said it wouldn`t hurt. I think the moral of the story was she got used by High Society and maybe became an embarrassment, not sure.

If only the game was as mature in play as this kind of writing.

p.s. Also surprised me that I used an hour reading a book in a game!

I liked The Final Lesson. It's interesting to be reminded the Alessian reform could be as bad as the Thalmor in their own way.

i have not gotten around to reading much in skyrim, but i can say i like Azura and the box, the fall of the snow prince and i forgot the name of the last book, but it is about a single man who had to hold a fort against an entire army (he stole food at night and the fort was pretty much impenetrable so he did not have to look after it other than closing the door behind him)

edit: i would also like to say thanks to the guy above me for reminding me abou the thief of virtue, that is what all thieves should aspire too :teehee:

I can't recall the name off the top of my head, but there's this Inn in the middle of nowhere with an Orc who rents the basemant... there's a book (I think the orc is the playwrite) with a play scene about two theives robbing a house where everyone was murdered and watching their ghosts. I really wished there was more to it :(

This one, can't remember it's name though either.

Liminal Bridges - Just because I couldn't understand any of it. :D

A Cabin in the Woods, Aevar Stone-Singer, Beggar Prince, the Exodus and the Real Barenziah. Words of Clan Mother Ahnissi is also great, I love mythology. There are more, but these are some of the best for me.
Want to read Palla now, + all by Waughin Jarth. Can anyone recommend which Jarth book should I start with? Most of his books are series, and pretty long. What should I read first?

Edit: Edited a little bit and finally decided my ultimate favorites. Dammit, I can't stop editing, I keep remembering amazing books I read.

I really can't stop editing.

Woodcutter's Wife - Cabin in the Wood, because it's made like those old creepy fairytales from the Grimm Brothers. Oh and another book i really enjoyed was "3 thieves" about 3 thieves in Morrowind.

I read Cicero's journal's the other day. You really see another side to him. I've learned to sort of respect and pity the guy now. Good read, though.

Ulfr's Book. The ending is great.

I see what you did there. But Ulfr didn't!

I recently read The Marksmanship Lesson, The Gold Ribbon of Merit, and Immortal Blood. I enjoyed them very much. Hallgerd's Tale was a surprisingly ribald story! I recommend it.

I like the dark "tragedy in black", very dark Book. And in a way I thought the journals written by that sick Necromancer in the pale very good, but extremley dark.

I found a book called something along the lines of "The Black Arrow." It was very good, is anyone else familiar with this one and has read it?

One i read recently (Not my Favorite) Withershins kind of Scared me at the end, when the guy was done with the Ritual it took me a little while to realize that everything was written backwards yet i still understood it. just like the guy went on with his life backwards and as if it was normal.

Sorry i don't know how to do Spoiler boxes :|

I have a huge collection of Books on my Khajiit but i have yet to go read them.
So far my favorite is the Real Barenziah.
