Blackreach, and that lighthouse that takes 4 hours to pick all the damn bug eggs. being face down in a pool of water for hours is no fun.

Is it Forholst?? Is that the name?? I absolutely hated it.

That was the dungeon that finally made me bored enough of skyrim to put my main character down. I don't remember why, but my save is made right outside the exit. I was so relieved to be done with that one.

Raldbthar. Went back after whacking the mark for a cutie in Markarth. I thought "no big deal, just another dwarf ruin." I was wrong. Automatons and traps everywhere.

I don't like any dungeon in the game, i hate dungeons to be honest with you. Maybe that means that i'm a whimp but i like the open field more than i like a narrow dungeon.

Labyrinthian.
Agreed. After I finally got out, having used all my potions and scrolls, there was a Frost Troll waiting for me. Took a while to figure out a way around him.

I hate that place. The surface was always enough to put me off going there. I hate it to the point where I would go round the mountain just to get to the other side. On my first playthrough, I only went there once I got Unrelenting Force. It's surprisingly satisfying to out maneuver the frost trolls on the higher platforms (with the thin bridge/lookout-thing; oh yeah, very technical stuff, that) and Fus Ro Dah'ing them off the edge.

I loved Wolfskull Cave.

So far that's the only "dungeon" that has made me say "wow" out loud

Forelhost. South of Riften.

I spent hours battling through draugr at level 8 with a weak jack-of-all-trades character only to realize I had no hope against the boss at the bottom level.

Scream. Reload earlier save. Walk away.

I love the lighthouse. In 200+ hours of play, that was the only area / quest that actually made me *feel* something. Like I actually was disturbed by the diaries of the family members, the daughter's realization of what the knife is for (shudder), and finally getting to
Spoiler
retrieve the father's remains from inside the last chaurus and burn them in the lighthouse fire, fulfilling his dying wishes

yeah, that dungeon was quite satisfying. If only they were all like that...

Abandoned Prison. I thought it would be really cool but instead it was just a lot of ghosts. Ghosts in Skyrim are so underwhelming and underdone.

Skuldafn. At level 74 on master difficulty, it becomes a chore to kill 100 draugr deathlords.

My last trip there (on expert) went very smoothly. You can outwit them with a high sneak skill, boots of muffle and a bunch of invisibility potions. They won't know you're there until you want them to. :tes:

I highly dislike Alftand. That Dwemer dungeon is one of the biggest in the game and filled to the brim with Falmer. Good story and all but, I just dont like going throught it. I tend to go through Mzinchaleft to get to Blackreach as its quicker, easy, and puts you almost right next to the Tower of Mzark.

Blackreach is technically a region not a dungeon. It even has a city The Silent City which is probably one of my Favorite dungeon layouts.

I generally do not like to go into any dungeon more than once. If I had to pick one though, I'd say the Vampire Dungeon with Clavicus Vile's Effigy inside.

The only reason I don't like Blackreach, is it gives off the impression that it'd be sort of a "Hyper level" Zone, but all the enemies seem underscaled, if anything. Blackreach should have been where level 81 people go to die, complete with Chaurus Mounted Falmer Cavalry, and a Dragon that doesn't just sit there and let you beat him down.

If only... who knows maybe some REALLY bored and talented people can make at least some better kill moves against dragons, im thinking beowulf style.

Dwemer ruins. All of them. All. Of. Them. I actively avoid them unless they are necessary to a quest. So many potions down my gullet.

I hold a special hatred for Dwarven Spheres. I find them worse than the Centurions. I have physically jolted when they spin out of nowhere.

Falmer locations are second place in svckage. Chaurus always give me away to their buddies. Once I also -- stupidly -- dropped into Sightless Pit. Alone. Never again.

Anything that has Falmer in them... God, I hate Falmer... I hate them so much I don't even want to kill them... They're just so... Bland.

The one that begins with a C and is nothing but Spiders

Cronvangr Cave I'm guessing... Loved it. :)

How are Falmer Bland? They're seriously the most developed enemy in Skyrim.

Scream your name 6 times, dislocate your shoulder and then rip out the Dragon's Still beating heart.

I could dig it.

Or were you referring to the bees thing... I think for Skyrim to pull that off, it'd be treading just a little too close to Bioshock territory.

Any dungeon where there are chaurus because I feel like I have to take all the eggs. I now have a couple hundred of them. :wallbash:
