Tarquin died because of a sneaky Storm Rune.
We share in you sorrow. The memorial adds another.

Ah! The Vamp hord! This is the direction I see Orfious going. Being the player her is they have a strict requirement of being female and not having that stupid cross gender arm animation. I made a mod, by painstakingly :bonk: changing EVERY female in the game that had that animation. :brokencomputer:

Very nice characters indeed. That mod sounds very interesting. I may need to take a closer look at that one. With the 1.6 mounted combat, I want to roam the lands with a posse horde on horseback.
@ The Ordinary Ordinator, your updates are amazing! Haha, loved reading this one while drinking my morning cup of coffee! Keep 'em coming!
DITTO!

Hey, where's Se?or Cinco?
:wavey:

I have been working on a couple of hard played characters IF I am lucky enough to get the opportunity to Beta Dawnguard. I have made a bunch of console command created characters to transfer, but I need a couple of hard played characters for controls of the controls. (if that made any sense)

Quick update on Kagero (level 12 atm).
Taking few tasks at Solitude she went on her mission and while riding through Dawnstar decided to stay in town for a while. For some reason all citizens had problems with sleep. Something dark and wrong was happening. Young nord offered her help and investigation brought her to the tower nearby... where she met evil orcs with monstrous 2-handers. It was too risky to fight with them, so she decided to retreat for good. Kagero warmed herself in the inn (staying in that region even for a short time made her chill to bones), stocked food and drinks, then went east.
On her way she found a lighthouse with murdered woman inside. Few diaries told a scary story but to make a full picture she had to go to the basemant. Hearing terrible sounds from downstairs she decided not to. The lands around were hursh, cold and many deadly creatures were stalking around. "What I am doing here?" asked Kagero herself. Then rode back to Riverwood where she sold stuff and enjoyed a company of friendly citizens. After good sleep at cottage, she went hunting in the morning and shot some wolves and deers for decent profit. She is still in doubt were to go next. Talos Tomb is not far and she was asked to visit it. Maybe this will be a good way to go... or maybe there she will find her end...

Aye, it's loads of fun. And having my lady death horde behind me kinda ups it to a new level of awesome. Now riding with Jenassa and Eola. And let's just say the towns and cities get quieter when we walk in, whispers in the shadows, garlic and silver hanged at doors...mwahahah!

but I need a couple of hard played characters for controls of the controls. (if that made any sense)

Nope, no sense whatsoever, but then again, I think I dropped too little coffee in my morning Skooma - well that turned up the wrong way.

Really wish I'd read this thread before making my newest character, a crusader type that bashes undead's heads in with his mace, oh well, I'll just start again and give this DiD stuff a go, it seems pretty fun!

Oh, and first post, so... hi.

I died last night in a most epic way. I was fighting four members of the silver hand when the camera panned out. At first I wasn't sure what was happening until I saw a greatsword swinging at me. And off came my head!

New Character:

Decentius Lex

Imperial

Born: 13th of Frostfall, 4E 166

*great, great, great grandson of Hieronymus Lex, captain of the Imperial Guard during the end of the 3rd Era.

Spoiler

Family background:
Decentius grew up in Cheydinhal, where he had a normal childhood. His father, Varian Lex, owned a general goods store. His mother, Astia helped her husband run the store. Decentius was four years older than his younger brother, Tacitus, who looked up greatly to his older sibling.

Character background:

From an early age Decentius took to adventure. He and his brother often ventured far into the Valus Mountains, east of Cheydinhal, in search of something exciting. The two brothers often found themselves diving the depths of Lake Arrius, attempting to find and kill a slaughterfish, which of course never actually happened. As Decentius and Tacitus grew to become men it was of no surprise to their parents when they both became eager in joining the Cheydinhal Guard. Decentius joined the day he turned 18, in 184 of the 4th Era. Decentius quickly moved up rank in the guard and was well on his way to becoming captain of the Cheydinhal Guard.

Decentius was most pleased when his younger brother joined the guard five years later. Tacitus had promised his parents, who were not pleased with their children's enthusiasm for adventure, that he would allow for at least one more year after he turned eighteen before joining the guard. Decentius took his younger brother under his wing, teaching him everything he needed to know in regards to chivalry, archery and even the arcane arts, which Decentius had been dabbling in. Finally the two brothers could carry out true adventures.

It was nearly two years later that tragedy would befall the Lex family. A report of some skooma traders in the Nibenay Basin required the attention of both Cheydinhal Guard as well as forces from the Imperial Legion. Decentius, who had now arisen to the rank of captain of the guard in Cheydinhal, hoped that this might provide opportunity to prove his worth to the Empire en rout to joining the Imperial Legion. However, both the Lex's and the Legionnaires were in for much more than they bargained for.

After careful planning of the assault, the combined forces had pinpointed the dealers location. They were held up in a ruin at Mackamentain. As the assault commenced it quickly turned into a blood-bath on both sides. The skooma traders were backed by packs of bandits and the Imperial Legion underestimated their enemies' numbers. The combined forces were forced to retreat after massive losses had occurred on both sides. After the battle, Decentius, who had slain many skooma traders and bandits by way of bow and sword, heard nothing of his brother, who he expected to return.

Weeks passed and no word came from Tacitus. Both the Imperial Legion and the Cheydinhal Guard planned a much larger, massive assault on the fortification. But that would take time. Time that Decentius did not have. With every passing day, Decentius knew brought his brother closer to his doom. Knowing that it would mean his expulsion from they Cheydinhal Guard, Decentius set out alone to find his brother.

Working alone, Decentius had the element of surprise, something that he did not have during the massive assault days earlier. He worked his was quickly to the depths of the ruin, killing bandits and skooma dealers from the shadows, confusing his enemies with potions and spells. At last he entered the main chamber, where not just Tacitus but numerous soldiers, both Imperial Legionnaires and guards from Cheydinhal were held prisoner. After dipping his arrow in a potent poison, Decentius aimed for the lone bandit chief that remained, the only one standing between him and his captured comrades. As his arrow left his fingertips he knew. He knew this time, unlike countless times before, he missed by a fraction. Alert, the bandit chief threatened Decentius instead of fighting. Traps had been set inside the cages. With a simple flip of a switch, the steel roofs of the cages, smothered with hundreds of poisonous spikes, would descend on the prisoners. Certain death for all.

It was Decentius' move, and he moved quickly, striking the bandit chief with an arrow to the shoulder before he could turn the deadly switch. Falling on his back, the bandit chief struggled to get back up, moving toward the switch. Decentius, running to save his brother and fellow guards, reached for another arrow, but his quiver was empty. Pulling out his dagger, he darted for the bandit chief to deliver a fatal strike. As he reached the chief and drove the dagger into his back, he was too late. The moment the dagger pierced the bandit chief's spine he had grabbed the lever. As the pain of death took the chief, his grip tightened around the lever, a literal death grip held his hand to the lever, and has his lifeless corpse fell, so did the switch. And with it a thunderous boom. And a host of quick screams form inside the cage that was instantly silenced as the roofs caved in.

Decentius had brought death to those that were responsible for his brother, but he had also brought death to his brother as well. The young captain of the guard returned home, devastated. He informed the count of Cheydinhal of the events and resigned immediately from his position with the guard. Although, legal ramifications were pending, eventually the case against Decentius was dropped for numerous reasons. However, Decentius was broken. A warrior with so much potential fell into deep depression. Anger overcame him. Anger toward himself and the rest of the world.

Over the next ten years Decentius remained in Cheydinhal, burdened with constant nightmares and looks of blame and disgust from the people of the town. His parents died in the years following the death of Tacitus. His mother first of disease, and his father of the same disease only a few months later. Leaving everything behind to his distant cousin, Decentius set out for a new life. He voyaged all throughout Cyrodiil beginning in 4E 194. He worked odd jobs and served as a mercenary. His name, which was destined to be so great, was forgotten. Continually angry at himself for everything that happened, he eventually moved north, to Bruma. But he found no peace there after living there, where he had been working in the Tap and Tack as a bouncer.

Decentius decided an escape from the province entirely might serve him well so he turned his eyes north, to Skyrim. It would be there that he would set out on a new path. Looking for nothing more than to forget the past.

It is here, that his story unfolds, in Skyrim, south of Helgen. Decentius was captured alongside a apparent Nord rebels, including someone noteworthy in Ulfric Stormcloak. How ironic, Decentius had thought to himself that the Imperial Legion, which had aspired to join as a youth would bring about his own demise.

At least it would seem...

Kagero is still alive and almost 15 level now. Killed her first non-MQ dragon. With deadly dragons mod was an epic battle with many of Riverwood guards being dead in the end. Two items with fire resist helped alot.

I installed several additional mods to up the challenge and to balance this, lowered difficulty to Expert. Gonna try Dynamic Injuries when it is in more finished form

Whew, RL had the upper hand there for a while. It’s been fun catching up on two and a half pages of awesome! I love this thread.

So, update. Zuuri took the blessing of the Atronach Stone and is now in Ivarstead about to make the climb. She has Lydia with her. To my surprise, Lydia amuses rather than annoys her.

Here’s a http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h361/grits29/Battlemage.jpg looking battlemagey in the armor given to her by Jarl Balgruuf the Greater. She still has some of her stuff stashed in the kitchen at Dragonsreach. It was a good place to live very briefly. The guards kicked her out of the Jarl’s bed after one night. The details of that incident will not be forthcoming.

Destruction plus mace is much fun. I do enjoy the kill cams. Looking forward to a mace decapitation some day! :hehe: (Hopefully.)

Hi Sammy! Welcome to the forums. Here's a http://images.uesp.net/c/c4/Fishystick.jpg Do give this play-style a go! We await for you to tell us about your adventures!

Thanks for such the warm welcome!

Started my first DiD character yesterday, this style of playing adds a certain element of fear absent from the game otherwise, and it makes me really paranoid and psyched up before heading into battle.

Name: Crusadin' Marvin

Race: Male Imperial

Class: Crusader

Skills: 1h (Mace), Block, Heavy Armour, Restoration, and if he survives until Dawnguard comes out on PS3, Archery (For Crossbows).

I'm Roleplaying him as some sort of holy warrior that despises the undead, witches, necromancy and the like, so no joining any factions (Except maybe The Bards College or CoW for restoration spells) or becoming Dragonborn!

Spoilers tags for Spoilers.

Spoiler
Marvin was captured by Imperials that thought he was a Stormcloak Rebel, an obviously ridiculous assumption since Marvin himself is an Imperial. Luckily, a miracle! (Of sorts). A dragon appeared and while it was busy roasting those imbeciles, he escaped with an Imperial soldier by the name of Hadvar, who was friendly enough.

They headed to Riverwood, where Hadvar's Uncle asked Marvin to head to Whiterun and ask for reinforcements for the Town in case the dragon showed up, but Marvin looked around town first and accepted a quest to retrieve a stolen ornament for a local shop keep.

On the way to the barrow where the theives were supposedly hiding out, Marvin defeated a group of bandits and took a full set of Iron armour from one of their corpses to replace his rather pathetic Legion Light armour. He dispatched more bandits and headed into the barrow, inside were plenty of traps and puzzles, and Marvin eventually came across a frostbite spider and a trapped Dunmer.

The frostbite spider was defeated, and Marvin headed over to free the Dark Elf that claimed to have the stolen ornament and promised to show Marvin the ancient tombs secrets. But he betrayed him, and ran off into trap, a spiked wall smacking him square in the face, not that he didn't deserve it.

Marvin fought past plenty of the crypt's now restless dead, and eventually came across a central chamber, deducing with the help of the Dark Elf's journal, that the ornament, a golden claw was the key in.

Marvin defeated a Draugr Overlord, looted the crypts contents, and found an exit leading out to the side of the mountain. He headed back to Riverwood and along the way found a shack, home to an old lady, he didn't stop to chat though, as it was quite late and he just wanted to rest. When he got back he rented a room in the local inn, he thought he'd return the golden claw in the morning, as the shop keep probably wasn't awake yet.

All in all, a very eventful first day in Skyrim

Don't think I'll make future updates this this lengthy, took a while to write, and I probably went into too much detail since all I did was a couple of quests.

Anyway, a little update on Smells-His-Feet (contains some Dark Brotherhood questline spoilers):

Spoiler

Imperial Investigation Report - Case # 1343-11
Solitude Garrison - 16th Hearthfire, 4E 201
Investigator: Janus Marius
For General Tullius' eyes only

General,

While my initial report listed Vittoria Vici's death as the result of a tragic and unfortunate accident, further investigation leads me to believe that it may have, in fact, been foul play.

A recount of the event for your convenience:

The victim, Vittoria Vici, expired when a stone gargoyle fixture fell from the paraqet above her, causing severe blunt force trauma, bone fracturing and internal hemorrhaging. The fixture fell as Vici addressed her wedding congregation. Nearby Imperial soldiers were on scene immediately to calm the pandemonium, and the area was quartered off and witnesses taken to a secure area to await the arrival of my investigators. Somehow, between the time of the accident and the time I showed up with my team, the body had been stripped of belongings. At first, I assumed that some inconsiderate individual or emotionally-charged relative had secured the victim's valuables, but now I'm not so sure.

Several witnesses claim to have seen a figure atop the wall behind the victim moments before the statue fell. Several markings on the statue's base indicate that it may have been pushed, though this evidence is highly inconclusive.

More peculiar and substantial, however, was something we had initially overlooked: a fish. We recovered a fish, more specifically a histcarp, from vicinity of the victim's body. I do believe this was the work of the Histcarp Killer.

According to rumors, the killer is Argonian. A local night watchman posted outside the city gates claims he spotted an Argonian dressed in what appeared to be Vici's tattered wedding dress. The watchman attempted to confront the suspect, but the Argonian seemingly disappeared into the shadows and could not be found.

We will continue to investigate the crime scene, and I will inform you personally if we uncover any more clues as to this Histcarp Killer's identity or whereabouts.

Signed,

J. Marius

Heya! First TES/Bethesda game, and I've been enjoying it so far. Figured I'd attempt a DiD character to add to the drama of combat and such! I'll introduce you to my first DiD character ever in a subsequent post.

Character – Saix (can't post links??! :( )
Race – Khajiit
six – Male
Pursuits – Liberation of purses, collect books.
Rules: No Fast Travel, No Smithing, No Enchanting, Expert Level Difficulty, No Dragons, No Civil War, Stat Ratio of 0:1:4 (M:H:S)
Skills: Archery (main), Sneak (main), Pickpocketing (main), Lockpicking (main), Speech (secondary), One-Handed (secondary), Light-Armor (tertiary)
Stone: Theif Stone ->Steed Stone

Introduction:
Spoiler

From the Journal of Saix the Shadow (as translated by Urag gro-Shub):

Primary Objective (PO): Gather Ahzini’s merchandise and deliver it.
Secondary Objective (SO): Borrow…

1st of Last Seed, 4E 201
Meeting Ahzini at the designated location for pick-up. My earnings from this job will pay for many days of luxury. A simple task, to be sure; just move Ahzini’s merchandise over the Skyrim/Cyrodiil border, and deliver it to the buyer in WR. Easy. Maybe enough to pay off my own bounty…

2nd of Last Seed, 4E 201
I have joined a Trade Caravan. This will be easier than I had expected.

3rd of Last Seed, 4E 201
Ahzini won’t mind if I ‘lost’ some of the shipment to ‘bandit’ attacks, I’m sure… He enjoys helping friends in times of need, after all.

4th of Last Seed, 4E 201
Betrayed! Ahzini must have seen my bounty… The Legion knew what I had. The caravan was stopped just at the border of Eleswyr/Cyrodiil and searched.
Only Ahzini could have told them, only he knew. Ahzini must hope not to cross my path again, or I will have a new fur cape to wear.

PO: Survive…

10th of Last Seed, 4E 201
The Imperial legion is closing on me. Out of food. Not much longer, no friendly caches in the area…

14th of Last Seed, 4E 201
They caught me just on the border of Skyrim… If not for these pesky Nords causing a scene, I may have gotten free. The Imperials call them Stormcloaks. I wonder where we are headed…

19th of Last Seed, 4E 201
Just as I was going to be ended, fate intervened. Praises to S’rendarr!
I escaped the wreckage of a dragon attack with an Imperial officer. He has suggested I join the Legion. I merely nodded. This will not happen. This civil war is not my concern.
Time for me to re-establish…

PO: Build contacts in Skyrim.
SO: Harm Ahzini in any way…

To Do:
Get Gold.
Find this ‘thieves guild’ I have heard of in Riften. They may be able to give me work.
Begin fulfilling bounties for these Jarls of the Nords.
Find Equipment.

Another excerpt from the journal of Saix the Shadow:

Spoiler
20th Last Seed, 4E 201
Arrived in a village, Riverwood. Upon entering, the blacksmith Alvor offered his home, requesting as payment a mere trip to whiterun to request aid from his Jarl.

A Bosmer, Faendel I believe, offered free archery training in exchange for framing a fellow villager. After listening to this villagers singing, I reluctantly agreed to help the hunter.

Lucan, the trader here, offered me a job. He has agreed to pay me, as well as let me keep all findings, in exchange for help with bandits. As I need funds, I quickly agreed. I will be purchasing a room at the inn for the day to prepare and sleep in.

Tomorrow brings forth a beginning. Ahzini must pay…

21st Last Seed, 4E 201
I went out yesterday with Faendel, the bosmer in this town. We happened upon a cave entrance, which I requested to him to stay at while I investigated. He may know his archery, but I’m not confident on his ability to remain unseen and unheard.

21st Last Seed, 4E 201
The cave led to a mine filled with bandits. I decided to relieve them of valuables, so they might have more room for their ores.

The bandits did not seem exuberant with my plan… It’s too bad, I dislike having to kill so many for so little.

A good thing I killed them though. I found the main entrance to their mine, and who do I find but a Khajiit standing guard with information from Ahzini. It seems he is looking for me as well.

22nd of Last Seed, 4E 201
I take the bosmer with me to find this trinket for the trader. We will see if he can keep quiet long enough to grab the item and leave.

22nd of Last Seed, 4E 201
The damned bosmer has set every trap off and alerted every guard we have found down here, not to mention, in literal fashion, woken the dead. We have stopped in a room full of webs, but I hear a slight, muffled yell... What could that be…?

22nd of Last Seed, 4E 201
We killed the giant spider, and freed a man named Arvel. However, it seems he is the one with the trinket, and he is not willing to part with it, even after I saved him. Worst yet, the spider’s body has blocked the way I came in, and I cannot move its body… Now I’m trapped with a man stalking the shadows trying to kill me and the bosmer who cannot keep quiet…

22nd Last Seed, 4E 201
We found Arvel. The dead got him. We got the dead. The trinket is ours, but we must press forward. It is not all bad, many extra trinkets not asked for to liberate, which means many more coins in the end.

22nd Last Seed, 4E 201
Lucan has his trinket, I have my 800 gold, and I made a pretty bonus for the extra pieces I found in the ruins. Perhaps Nordic burial tombs not so bad to be trapped in after all?

I paid Faendel a portion of what I should, due to his carelessness in the ruins. I hope I never travel with such a loud ox again.

23rd Last Seed, 4E 201
Damn Ahzini! Hired Thugs with a contract from him visited me this morning. I must grudgingly admit that Faendel rescued me when he saw them, even despite the abrupt end to our engagements yesterday.

This attack forces me to admit I must have a companion on the road to Riften. After that? Maybe not, but for now, yes. Faendel has agreed, and so he and I will set off today to start the journey.

And the first letters of the companions of Saix the Shadow:

Spoiler
A book of companion letters concerning Saix the Shadow, as collected by Urag gro-Shub.
Faendel:
I met Saix on the 20th of Last Seed. The Khajiit seemed amiable enough, if a bit distant. After overhearing his story in the inn, I cannot blame him that distance. He agreed to deliver a letter to Camilla for me, and I agreed to show him some hunting techniques I knew in return.

On the 21st of Last Seed, He and I went hunting. During the trip, we found a cave. He requested I stay out while he looked it over. I found this odd but complied. He returned from a different direction, and had some more items then I remember him going in. I wonder what was in there…

On the 22nd of Last Seed, he took a job for Lucan and agreed to split the pay with me if I came to help. We headed to Bleak Falls Barrow. Along the way, some bandits based in a crumbling tower set upon us. Luckily, he and I dispatched them from afar. We split the loot and continued.

It seems Bleak Falls Barrow was the main base for the bandits. Saix and I fought off the front guards, and forced our way inside. Saix seems to prefer a more cloak and dagger type fighting then I, and gets angry at me at times when I rush in to help. Ah well, so long as I’m paid, he can be angry about whatever he likes.

We found a nice room to stop and rest for a moment in, although it is covered in spider webs. And then, there is the muffled yell. I wonder what that is…

Bless the divines! We killed a giant Frostbite Spider! There was a man trapped in the webbing, who seems to have what we were hired to retrieve. He rushed into the catacombs some more, since the dead spider is blocking the entrance. We’ll have to follow.

There are Draugr everywhere. We found the man and retrieved the trinket, but still must press forward. This is maddening. Why did I agree to come here!

We survived, although I think the Khajiit held back some of the payment. Probably because he felt I wasn’t quiet enough. I’ll have to get him back, somehow…

On the 23rd of Last Seed, I found Saix beset by Hired Thugs. He was yelling something about a man named Ahzini? I helped him out. Can’t collect debt from a dead man.

Saix has asked if I would like to accompany him to Riften. He also paid me the rest of what I was owed. There is no bad blood left, so I agreed. I wonder what mayhem will follow us.

Thanks! I enjoy reading your entries too, especially your archaeologist high elf, it seemed like a really interesting way to play the game, shame he had to die so quickly. :(
Oh wow, an archaeologist smiley. -> :miner:

More adventures with Marvin!

Spoiler
Marvin woke up and went outside, the weather was dismal, but his mood was changed when he was rewarded 400 gold for recovering the golden claw.

He started on his journey to Whiterun, which, as it turned out, was only over the hill. Marvin convinced the Jarl to send a detachment of troops to Riverwood, and paid a visit to the local wizard to buy a few restoration spells. He then went into the town centre, where a Redguard said something about mercenary work, but Marvin just ignored him.

He headed to the local temple, to pray to Kynareth, where he met a priestess that required some assistance in curing a holy tree. Marvin accepted without hesitation, finally, a holy quest! First, Marvin had to head to Orphan Rock to "Acquire" a blade from a coven of witches to gain sap from the parent tree. Along the way he ran into a group of people he thought were friendly, and ran over to say hello. They were not however, friendly, as it turned out a couple of them were bandit chiefs, so Marvin had to haul ass back to Riverwood where the guards took care of them.

Marvin dispatched the witches, however, there was a Hagraven on a rocky outcrop throwing fireballs down at him, knowing it had the tactical advantage, Marvin hid behind a tree stump that for some reason didn't catch fire. He managed to get over to the Hagraven, and began a tactical assault that involved running around it in circles and bashing it with a steel mace.

Marvin now had to head to the Eldergleam Sanctuary in the volcanic tundra, along the way he stopped off at Darkwater Crossing for the night where he met a Dark Elf, who asked him to visit the Alchemist in Windhelm and place on order for medicine for the workers, Marvin decided to stop off there on his way back.

At Eldergleam Sanctuary, Marvin got the sap, but a bunch of Spriggans appeared and killed some peaceful pilgrims that called the sanctuary home, which made Marvin quite sad.

Arriving at Windhelm, Marvin visited the Alchemist, where he placed the order for the miners, and received another task quest to obtain an artifact, 'The White Phial' from another ancient Nordic Tomb. He fought past plenty of Draugr, using his new turn undead spell defeated Curalmil, whom the tomb had been built for. He retrieved the White Phial, although appeared slightly damaged.

It was late when he got back to Windhelm, so he rented a room in Candlehearth hall for the night. On the way into the city, a guard mentioned a cave nearby, supposedly home to vampires, so he decided to head there in the morning.

Character – Saix (can't post links??! :( )
Race – Khajiit
six – Male
Pursuits – Liberation of purses, collect books.
Rules: No Fast Travel, No Smithing, No Enchanting, Expert Level Difficulty, No Dragons, No Civil War, Stat Ratio of 0:1:4 (M:H:S)
Skills: Archery (main), Sneak (main), Pickpocketing (main), Lockpicking (main), Speech (secondary), One-Handed (secondary), Light-Armor (tertiary)
Stone: Theif Stone ->Steed Stone

Welcome and good luck to Saix! You can't post links until you hit a certain post count, it isn't very high I think it is only about ten or something. Great updates guys, I love reading them! No more updates on Joldi yet.

2-handed Khajiit warrior sounds great, best of luck! I recently saw a NPC do something fun with a hammer. Made me want to try one.

Zuuri the Redguard battlemage is so much fun to play, but not so fun to write about. She is calm, self-assured, and quite the badass under pressure. That doesn’t lend itself to the kind of antics that I just can’t wait to share.

The biggest problem I have is that Zuuri levels up so fast. I made a real mistake by taking up enchanting. I thought that she could enchant her armor to make it like the mages’ robes. Not yet, anyway. She uses heavy armor, mace, restoration, and destruction; most of her perks go to destruction.

Zuuri is so close to getting the decapitation perk! I would be tempted to indulge in a point of training, but she is presently in Winterhold with Lydia and Meeko. Oh yeah, they found a dog! He is fast, aggressive, and sturdy, but he really gets in the way. He is good for restoration practice, as he ends every fight near death. If she ever gets a house, she’ll probably ask him to wait there. Not sure how long that would last, but it beats getting zapped or clobbered by Zuuri’s mace.

One more thing: ice wraiths. Damn those ice wraiths! I can’t even see them! The only way I know to deal with them is a fire bath, and Zuuri can’t do that with her followers. Argh, fetching ice wraiths!!

Next up: Saarthal. The thing about Nord dead is that they don’t seem to stay that way. Zuuri plans to do some skull bashing.

Walks-With-Cats is dead.
Died on the 18th of Last Seed 4E 201

I joined the companions, and on the second mission got too cocky for about everyone dying so easily, that's when I got surrounded by draugr, Farkas and I didn't stand a chance.
Made it to level 4 right as I died.

EDIT: Fixed Spelling Errors

Shulos was lucky, he had some hp potions with him and healed he's wounds..He returned back to dark brotherhood for next contract..what took him to dragon bridge to kill Gaius Maro..He was doing nice work and stoled Gaius schedule..Then Shulos was walking out of town when he saw determined Solitude guard running towards him with sword in he's hand...Guard got to Shulos and asked him to surrender...Shulos was laughing and spitted to ground..just one guard, he was thinking..just one guard..

They started to fight..Shulos using 2 daggers and guard was with sword and shield..Shulos gived couple nice shots to guard, but guard was doing more harm to Shulos..Shulos got panic and was trying give one lucky shot to guards face but it got stopped by guard shield...Shulos started to back out and thinking to escape.. he turned and was about to run, but it took too long..Guard maded sword swing what hitted Shulos back and Shulos falled to ground...Shulos was laying on growing blood pond and he's world was blacking out..last thing he saw was Guard walking away....

So thats how my first DID char joyrney ended..this was really great experience..maded gameplay so much better and keeping on me toes every fight and paranoid looking around in wilderness haha

What's up guys?

Been having loads of fun with my Vampy. Decided I'l finally do all Daedric quests with her since she's so evil and all.
Just finished Azura and, boy, I barely made it out alive! Must find some good conjuration Mod since the current Atronachs seem kinda pathetic.
I also got Ilia but then something weird happened. As I arrived with the girls near Windhelm (to pick a certain quest, mwahahah!) I saw that I was starving and hungered for blood (I'm using IMCN along the Vamp mod, so I really HAVE to feed). No prob, I said, as I approached a lone guard, sneaked up on him, paralyzed him then fed on the poor guy. Then Illia started going berserk on me. Haha, apparently she tolerates no crimes (per UESP wiki).

That also made clear why I got a whooping 2000 gold bounty after killing some farmers on the road near Falkreath with her in tow. I was a bit confused at the time as to why the bounty was still on since I killed the last witness, but apparently I didn't.
Needless to say, she had to....ummm...go. Yeah, to a "nicer" place.... :shifty: "But whyyyy mistress?...." - "Embrace eternity, you hypocrite witch!"
Yeah, they are my followers and they are useful, but I am their Lord and Lady and they WILL obey me or suffer the consequences, huhu.

*********************

Where's the Histcarp Killer? I really missed his antics at my morning coffee! OH! Monsieur 'istcarp Killer, make an appearance!

The last Excerpt from the Journal of Saix the Shadow

Spoiler
23rd Last Seed, 4E 201
We have arrived outside Whiterun, to finish up any debts owed to Alvor. There seems to be a small skirmish occurring… Perhaps aid will be rewarded?

23rd Last Seed, 4E 201
A giant and 3 human were disputing out in a farm field. A few shots found their marks, and the archer from the trio thanked me. They did not, however, feel I did enough to be paid. They offered to join some fighters guild of sorts. Hmmph, I informed them that I do not waste my time.

23rd Last Seed, 4E 201
We have arrived at this Jarls Palace. Now to ‘explore’ it, and perhaps make it roomier for the Jarl as well?

23rd Last Seed, 4E 201
A good haul, over all. The Jarl had imprisoned an elven sword and a sturdy shield. Faendel need not know that his weapons are not fully his, it would only distract him.
I also visited the fighters guild, feigning interest. To think, they had chained an Elven Bow in a case. What waste. Now it can sing once more.
Faendel is getting suspicious, however, so we will use some coins earned from our ventures thus far for new gear, to sate his issues.
We set off towards Riften tomorrow. For the night, the Bannered Mare has been recommended many times by many people…

24th Last Seed, 4E 201
As we began the treck eastwards, Faendel spotted some deer. However, the shots reached into bandit territory, and the deer fell near their tower. The venison has been subsequently stolen…

24th Last Seed, 4E 201
We stormed the towers, making more noise to add confusion and create the idea of a larger force. Faendel shield walled the ramp from the bridge to the first tower as I shot volleys into the archers along the ridgeside. We claimed our venison and more.
Of note, a dirty kill occurred. The leader of the bandit group charged at me, and as he rounded the corner, positioned close to the edge of the tower, my arrow staggered him, and he fell from the top of the tower.

24th Last Seed, 4E 201
A close encounter. An Imperial escort passed us on the road, no doubt in search of me based on Ahzini’s information. We fooled them.
It is getting late in the day, and we must find a place to camp. There is a tower across a waterfall nearby.

24th Last Seed, 4E 201
This abandoned prison is not hospitable. We must find another place. I see a fort in the distance… perhaps we can pay for lodging?

24th Last Seed, 4E 201
There were mages here! I think we routed them mostly, but there seems to be more left deeper in the fort.

25th Last Seed, 4E 201
I was right! When we awoke, there were mages all over. Faendel and I battled them to the last man and struck out quickly. The forts and towers in these parts are cursed!

25th Last Seed, 4E 201
We have found a town named Darkwater Crossing. Annekke has agreed to give us lodging for tonight and has even offered a job; clear out some bandits nearby.

25th Last Seed, 4E 201
The bandits were made short work of, and Annekke has paid. She offered to come with me, and admits to having scouted the terrain in this region, so I have agreed, and allowed Faendel to leave with his pay.

26th Last Seed, 4E 201
Annekke has taken me to the Tower Niehelm. From the top I have been able to survey the path ahead with her. We are so close!
The guards here seem strange… However, they have allowed us to take what we please and spend the night, so I will ignore such oddities.

27th Last Seed, 4E 201
Annekke and I press on to Riften, but are dogged at every turn. Few hours passed since Niehelm, and already assassins attempt to kill us. Ahzini is hot on our trail.

27th Last Seed, 4E 201
We have found a ruin called Angarvunde! According to some notes in an abandoned camp out front of the entrance, it is reported to have great wealth inside. Annekke has agreed that we should investigate.

27th Last Seed, 4E 201
Medresi Dran was inside, and has offered to split the treasure. I doubt she is truthful, but I will work with her, for now.

27th Last Seed, 4E 201
Medresi was lying, but was killed rushing forward. Foolish woman, always send the unknown helper in first.
We will use the camp outside for the night.

28th Last Seed, 4E 201
I spotted redguards through the trees, well equipped. Their equipment will make for fine bartering tools in Riften.

28th Last Seed, 4E 201
We have arrived to Riften, and already the thieves Guild has contacted me. Brynjolf has offered a job. We will commence shortly.

28th Last Seed, 4E 201
Brynjolf has invited me to join the guild after I had shaken down some shopkeeps for some coin. Simple tasks for membership, I hope that is not the best they have.

28th Last Seed, 4E 201
Excellent! Mercer has offered a real challenge! I must attack the Goldenglow Estate, steal it’s safe contents, and burn it’s hives. I start tomorrow night.
I have decided to go alone on this one, and have asked Annekke to wait for me at the ragged flagon.

29th Last Seed, 4E 201
I was… foolish… Annekke would have been a boon… The mercenaries have me cornered in the basemant, little time left. Ahzini was here, he smiled as I opened the door. The smug [censored]…

Khajiit
Saix
Level 19
Died doing his favortie activity - cursing his enemy Ahzini.

Have to admit, I was sad when he died :( Normally i just reload and alter strategies. I felt a piece of me leave as his save was deleted.
