Aeryn Eagleye, Legionnaire, Thane of Whiterun

Minor civil war spoilers herein.
Spoiler

26th of Last Seed, 401

So the Jarl tasked me with delivering his axe to Ulfric, the rebel leader. I said maybe an assassin would stand a better chance than a lone legionnaire but he said I misunderstood. "Just hand him the axe and await his reply"...

Been doing a lot of leg work of late and my dogs are barking' so I figured a carriage ride to Windhelm was in order for Faendal and I.
Swung by the Mare, stocked up on ales for the ride and we were off!

All in all a pleasant ride but too short.
Arrived at Ulfric's castle with a bit of a buzz but his dour attitude sobered me right up. He handed back the axe and we made a date to see each other again real soon in Whiterun.

Judging by the state of readiness I saw around me I figured this news needed to be reported with haste so I 'commandeered' a horse from the rebel stables and rode for Whiterun.

Clearly that rebel scum had been planning to attack well before he received Balgruuf's axe as I barely made it inside the walls before the Stormcloak host began to deploy outside.

I was, however, pleased to see the city's defenses had been bolstered by the Legion and felt quite confident in our preparedness as I made my way to join Legate Rikke defending the gate.

We repulsed Ulfric's rabble with relative ease. They never even came close to the main gate. I cut down one of their generals blade to blade and picked up a nice set of armor off him. Nothing I'd ever wear, but a nice collectable.
It's a bit cumbersome but I'm gonna have to lug it around for now. If I stash it back in the Solitude barracks it'd likely disappear...

After the battle I reported back to General T. As I waited I heard the general talking with that 'dragonborn'. Apparently he's decided to help the Legion in its struggle with the rebels.
How gracious of him. We don't need his help. The hero who hides. Didn't see him defending the gate. Perhaps he was holding the wall. Not that any of the rebels made it that far.
General T, however, seems to think we're in his debt and saw fit to promote him to the rank of Quaestor.
He's been serving for what? Two days??

For ol'Aeryn? New orders. Ambush a rebel courier, retrieve his documents, falsify the reports and see them delivered to rebel command...

I caught him on the road just as some winged skeletal serpent was mauling him. He died quickly and the serpent came at me. I nearly joined the rebel courier as maggot food, but a timely arrival by Faendal tipped the scales and we killed the monster.
I slipped into the courier's clothes and completed the mission.
The rebel commander even treated me to an ale!

The falsified documents would, ideally, lead the rebels to deploy their forces away from our next objective, Fort Dunstead...

Several Questions

has there been a Char you just REALLY did not want to give up?

from the Obituaries, has anyone made a statistic run down of it yet?

have you continued them in some shape or form..ala roleplaying a char that a sibling/friend/random person who holds a trinket or endeared item of the deceased?

was their a point were you "gave up" and let your char die? did you feel any special way about that?

I usually get pretty attached to all my characters. It svcks when they die, but that's the beauty of this play style. Makes ya savor every moment and try really hard not to die.
I've never 'continued' a character through a relative, etc., but I've only been at this for about 7 or 8 characters so far and my favorites are still alive but taking a break. (or currently being played)
I had been imagining a cousin or half sister in Riften that I was going to have my current character writing letters to for my story telling rather than just journal style, and thought she might be my next character if he dies... But the letter thing just wasn't happening ;-)

I gave up on my first did character because he was too similar to my non-did character and I was doing all the same quests... Boring.
I've retired some characters for RP reasons. Like at the completion of the civil war, my 'I hate the empire' character took a break. She may be back someday, after she comes to trrms with all that's happened and finds some new direction (like some good dlc...).

I have a little memorial to the fallen in a Word document on my computer for all the DiD characters I've lost across Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout: NV and Fallout 3, so yeah. I get attached, lol
I've created a relative to an earlier character once before, but that was in Fallout 3.

Mhairi's alive and well, currently on her way to Markarth because, well, it sounds interesting. Will update with an account of her adventures so far when I have time to sit down and write one out.

@ MK-{OmegaX}.At first I thought I wouldn't get attached to a DiD character, but living this intense experience has proven me wrong. I believe that because the characters are "mortal", and not just avatars that can die 20 times in the span of 10 minutes because you're trying to kill a tough boss, tends to make them closer to a "real person". Hence the bridge between the character and the player gets smaller.

It could be the opposite of course. A player might experience discomfort in loosing characters, but having the desire to still play DiD rules, the mind could refuse the attachment in order to resolve the dissonance.
Ha, having a hard time explaining what I mean in English...
Anyway, no matter how much I am attached to the character, if he/she kicks the bucket, then that's it! No reloads, no bending the Rule.

About giving up...hmm...I never "killed" a character if I no longer wanted to play him/her (though you can find ways to roleplay a character's suicide), I usually retire them (got the idea from Se?or Cinco).

Well guys here's a close-up of http://i.imgur.com/kzoe0.jpg , her being angry-mad and all that. No action shots because things are a bit intense now at early levels, and taking screenies is the last thing on my mind.

She was actually in a pretty tough fight recently. She stole a horse (...again...she always wished for a pony when she was little) and this usually is easy because the escape is quick. But this time the guards decided to pursue her. I had no idea they were doing that, so when Manon got of the horse to skin a wolf, BAM! 3 guards started the "Stop right there, criminal scum!" (whoops) "Committed crimes against Skyrim and her people!"

Manon: Who is this Skyrim lady? If she has something to say to me, she should say it to my face. Now begone, pumpkins!

Guard: There are no pumpkins in Skyrim, pay with your blood!

*****
I have to say, the fight was tough. At early levels (Expert) the guards land good hits! Managed to dispatch them by abusing the landscape...
I'm working on the bounties. I wonder...if you get a high enough bounty, do the people attack you on sight, and the guards no longer provide the "surrender" dialogue?...

Here's an update from Shuvesse, in spoilers to prevent too much scrolling.

Spoiler
Shuvesse and Vorstag had a fun and productive trip across the volcanic tundra. Shuvesse picked up another Word of Power, and Vorstag got some more bones to carry. The dragon fight produced a very close call. Shuvesse had chosen high ground where the dragon couldn’t bite her, and she was shooting blind into its fire. Something else started biting her, and she couldn’t see where to run away. It was two skeevers. Damned things cost her some potions and completely failed to burn to death. They were in the same fire bath as she.

After the dragon gave up its soul, Shuvesse looked around for Vorstag. Nothing. Then she took a second look at the riled up mammoth down in a valley. Something was shooting a stream of frost at it. Like from the staff Vorstag was carrying. Dammit, Vorstag! Shuvesse resolved that situation again from high ground. The two of them headed toward the far northern mountains.

Somewhere they took a wrong turn. They found themselves carrying more bones after a fight outside Dragonbridge. They decided to walk up to Solitude and lighten the load. They never made it inside the city. Ma’dran’s caravan was outside the gate.

I felt kind of sick watching Vorstag walk away. So did Shuvesse. She let her pipe deal with it.

So the rest of this update concerns the errand that the Greybeards had sent Shuvesse upon. Even without Vorstag, she was determined to go forward. Sneaking through the mountains changes everything. There are a lot of bears, sabre cats, and Foresworn up there. None of them knew Shuvesse was passing. She arrived at a very intimidating tomb that shall remain nameless. Draugr outside confirmed that she was in the right place. (I disable quest markers and such, so sometimes we assault the wrong ruin. Not this time.)

Inside were traps and a puzzle that would require multiple keys. Shuvesse found them. Predictably, each one was guarded by a, well, guardian. Shuvesse had spent the time making an exit plan. She handled those fights by successfully running away.

Now, many people would realize that whatever creature was bad enough to need such security might be best left alone. Shuvesse knew that strong locks safeguard valuable treasures, or in this case great power. It was a dragon priest. She never had a chance.

Several Questions

has there been a Char you just REALLY did not want to give up?
Yes...all of them.

from the Obituaries, has anyone made a statistic run down of it yet?
Like what? You mean like who has achieved the highest level? That is not what this playstyle is about. It's not,as much, about how far you get as it is about how it makes you feel the entire time you are playing.

Besides, if a collection of stats get implemented, then this thread gets flooded by a thousand school kids that are full of crap. Can you imagine how many level 81 characters there will be? Even though it is an honor system, I have taken measures to keep out the less than genuine riff-raff, like requiring a new character to be started in the thread to qualify for the memorial.

Still there is the "Ha-you-guys-are-lame-I-made-it-to-level-100-with-one-character" posts.

have you continued them in some shape or form..ala roleplaying a char that a sibling/friend/random person who holds a trinket or endeared item of the deceased?
Yes. My female warrior, Samone the Crimson was a spin on "Red Sonja". She wore only gauntlets and boots. and used a 2H sword. She fell at level 5.

I then created Celest the Ebon. She was the twin sister (only with black hair in lieu of red). She was a duel wielding warrior that favored armor, unlike her sister. She was hell bent on avenging her sisters death.

was their a point were you "gave up" and let your char die? did you feel any special way about that?
There are points when the character just doesn't appeal anymore. I then just retire them.

EDIT : There was a point with one character, that death was inevitable...or so it seemed. i turned to face the Dragon and die with honor, just as my Dremora landed the killing blow. That was probably THE single most epic moment I have ever felt in all of gaming. She was only a mid level character and that feeling exceeded ANY boss fight to date.

I actually had two DID characters I didn't post up on here but they ended up dying before level 5 anyway and I wasn't attached to them whatsoever so it doesn't require putting them up.

Im having trouble thinking of a new character, I was thinking of an Atroblade (conjuration, Destro, one handed, heavy armour, alteration). Maybe a Skirmisher (block, one handed, light armour, alchemy, illusion, sneak).

But the subject of Roleplay is the hardest to figure out. I don't know what race to pick, or an invigorating, meaningful background to write, I'm stuck.

Any ideas?

Alright, seeing as it's ten to four in the morning and I can't sleep, may as well get started documenting Mhairi's travels :)
Spoiler tags because it could get quite large. And excuse the inevitable crapness, I'm working from memory and never was much of a writer.

Spoiler
The slender Breton girl woke to the sight of a large Nord peering at her from barely a foot away. "Ah, good, you're awake," he said.
She shook her head, blinked to clear her vision and sat up. It was only then that she realised that she was in a wagon headed Gods' know where, and that her hands were tied. She looked at the Nord, panic flickering across her features before she managed to catch herself. "Uh... Where are we going, and why are my hands tied?" she asked. The big Nord laughed gently, a wry look on his face. "We, little one, are headed Gods know where, and your hands are tied because you were caught up in that Imperial ambush. Just like us, and that horse thief over there." He jerked his head in the direction of another Nord, who simply snorted derisively and replied "If it weren't for you Stormcloaks I'd have stolen that horse and been halfway to Hammer fell by now. Empire was nice and lazy before you lot started yahooing about..."
She tuned out of the skinny Nord's tirade and simply watched the world roll by as the wagon made it's way towards wherever in Oblivion it was going, trying to make sense of it all. To her surprise, she found that she could remember nothing before waking in the wagon.
She was interrupted from her reverie by the big Nord, who tapped her with his foot to get her attention and thrust his chin towards a small walled village coming into view around a bend in the road. "Helgen," he said, "I guess they aren't going to take us all the way to Solitude after all." She blinked. "Eh? I thought you said you didn't know where we were being taken?" He laughed. "Didn't. Still don't. But, seeing as the man sitting next to you is Ulfric Stormcloak, the leader of our glorious little rebellion and true High King of Skyrim,, I'd assumed they were taking us to Solitude to make us an example. Guess I was wrong."
Great, she thought. Apparently there's a civil war going on, and I was captured with the leader of the rebels. Great job, Mhairi. She shook her head, then stopped, eyes wide. My name! she thought, I remembered my name! She turned to share the news with her travelling companions, only to be greeted by a sight that chilled her to the bone.
What must have been an Imperial executioner, sharpening his axe. His very large, very sharp, very bloodstained axe.
Everything was sort of a blur after that.

Next instalment when I'm not dog-tired and falling asleep in my chair. Took me nearly two hours to write this, lol

From the journal of Indyanis (contains Bard's College spoilers):

Spoiler
Solitude's not a bad place, though I don't think I would want to live here. The whole thing's built on a giant natural arch; I'd be afraid of the city falling out from underneath me!
I poked around town a bit before inquiring for work at the Bard's College. I met this....lovely Altmeri woman, Taarie, who made me model some froufrou clothing for the jarl. What do I look like, some kind of fop? Oh well, gold is gold and I need some badly. I'm not sure what to make of this Taarie woman. She's cranky, contemptible, and pretentious. I think we're a perfect match. And she's much nicer than her shrew of a sister.
But now isn't the time to waste with such nonsense. There are ruins out there that I can just hear calling my name.

I suppose Solitude is a popular location for my people, for I met another, Viarmo, at the Bard's College. That Thalmor embassy in the mountains outside the city must have something to do with Solitude's somewhat high Altmer population. I would join them, but.... I just can't help but have visions of my bed falling into the sea.
Viarmo told me of the Burning of King Olaf Festival, and how the jarl had banned it. He wanted me to fetch a book from an old barrow. Finally, some ruins! Not Dwarven, but they'll do nicely for now.
But there was no way I was going alone. The dead do not appreciate being disturbed.
Meeko and I traveled south to Morthal and hired a tough-looking fellow named Benor. From there, we traveled to the nearby barrow.

I'm not sure Benor fully appreciated the ancient pottery and old-style Nordic carvings, but I was splitting the loot with him, and he got more than enough chances to—as he put it—"crack some skulls," so I think that helped to soothe his restlessness.
Eveything was going fine until I stepped into a large room and the gate snapped shut behind me, cutting me off from both Meeko and Benor. To make matters worse, draugr began to rise, intent on tearing me apart. With no where to run and my bodyguard trapped behind a steel gate, I had no choice but to stand and fight. Not exactly my area of expertise! I swung my dagger around like a madman as I ran around screaming. I don't know how I did it, but I somehow managed to kill them. Then I found the pull chain to open the gate. Right there. In plain sight. In the middle of the room. I must be more careful in the future and try not to lose my head so quickly. I could have saved myself a lot of trouble....
I made sure to keep my companions close by from that point forward.

Eventually, we recovered the book. On the way back to Solitude, I thanked Benor for his service then bade him farewell. I let him keep the armor that I found in the ruins. He was a good fellow. If I ever find myself near Morthal, I won't hesitate to hire him again. But for now, Viarmo was expecting his book. With some careful...."editing" of the book's verse, we convinced the jarl to reinstate the Festival. We had a grand celebration that night, and the bards inducted me into their esteemed institution.
I suppose Skyrim's not as hostile a place as I had originally thought.

Ok I gotta ask:

How many of you have lost characters to kill cams or otherwise ridiculous situations?
I've never really tried a DID playthrough on Skyrim simply because of kill cams. I'd rage if I lost a character to one.

I have never lost one to kill cams, as in being attacked while my character was killing an enemy, because the kill cam doesn't initiate until the last enemy in the area.

IF that did happen, it would fall under a glitch, IMO, as that is something that is beyond the control of the player.

No no I mean kill cams ON you, not BY you....

I play every game on very hard, so maybe it's not as common on normal difficulty...But on very hard, I VERY often find myself in battle with an enemy who can two/three-shot me. The fight itself is a hassle because I end up spamming pots, but what's even more annoying is that if the ENEMY triggers a kill cam on ME (very possible), then those are programmed very poorly. For example if I fight an enemy that can kill me in two shots, if he hits me once, a kill cam can trigger IMMEDIATELY after the first hit. Before he even swings, before I have a chance to block or dodge or use a potion; hell, it almost looks like he triggers the kill cam before his first attack's animation is finished.
They're programmed poorly in that they trigger at the very BEGINNING of the enemy attack, not upon impact. The result is that sometimes your character is teleported in front of the enemy for a kill cam, your blocking doesn't seem to matter at all or the enemy seemingly starts the kill cam before he's finished his last attack. All the NPC has to do is basically lodge a request to the system to start his next attack (much like you or I would by clicking), and the positioning of myself or if I'm blocking or spamming potions is generally irrelevant: he'll get his finishing move simply because he lodged a request to begin his next attack.

I wouldn't call it a glitch because obviously this is an intended feature, but it's also the most ass intended feature ever, taking away control of the player and failing to calculate your own defensive manuveurs into the equation of if the enemy should get a kill cam or not.

Though yes, I'm also finding the magic kill cams specifically do a wonderful job of....well, not doing their job, often leading to player deaths. Dunno why but they often activate when they shouldn't, the hit does NOT kill your target, and then you're left frozen for a good 3-5 seconds while the enemy eats your face off.

Oh! I see what you mean. Well in that case...sux to be me.

I play my Conjurers on Master and they will definitely be one shot at any time. That is just the way it is. The strategy of that is not to get hit in the first place. Or get in a situation as to even be struck.

However, I have seldom been involved in a kill cam on my character. All of the times that it has occurred, has been while my character is at 50% or less. My warriors all smith their gear and get every level pumped into Health. My Assassins come into direct combat very seldom, due to a high Sneak, and well my mages are all like I said...Conjurer/Illusionists.

From the journal of Indyanis:

Spoiler

I began heading east the next morning. Most of Skyrim's Dwarven ruins were in the eastern end of the province. I made a brief stopover in Dawnstar and helped a fellow named Erandur put an end to the nightmares plaguing the locals. He was a friendly fellow (for a Dunmer) and agreed to assist me explore a nearby cave for a flute that belonged to the bards of Solitude. After a rather harrowing adventure with some necromancers, we went out separate ways. He returned to Dawnstar, and Meeko and I continued east toward Windhelm.

We spent the night in Winterhold. Not much to say about Winterhold. As I understand it, there's some college there for mages. I was dying to have a peek inside, I'm sure they had plenty of interesting artifacts, but no one is allowed in unless they can prove themselves a mage. I can throw a few spells around, but I am no mage, so I ever reluctantly moved on.

I managed to find another sword-for-hire in Windhelm. Fellow by the name of Stenvar. He agreed to accompany me to a nearby Dwemer ruin. I paid a hefty sum, but I was positive I would more than make up for it with the treasures and artifacts we were sure to uncover.

I was right!

These ruins are absolutely stunning! So much history, so many secrets, so much knowledge locked away deep beneath the surface. Unfortunately, the place had been taken over by bandits, but we managed to clear them out before they could cause any more damage. In the process, I got the chance to try out an old Dwarven ballista. It still worked after all these centuries...fantastic!!

I am absolutely in awe at the construction of these underground cities. The craftsmanship is sublime! Elegant, yet entirely functional. Their cups even had little cogs at their bases. Were these just decorative, or did they serve some unknown function? Even their sentries still function as if they had just come back from the...whenever automatons come back from. Despite the all the wonders, their beds leave much to be desired. Stone beds? I don't suspect I'll get much sleep tonight, but I'm too excited to sleep anyway. Tomorrow, we delve deeper. An entire life's work has come to this.

I feel young again! So very much alive!

This was Indyanis' final entry when the journal was found in Stenvar's possession. When asked further of his client, Stenvar had this to say:

"He was a good guy. Nothing like those ruttin' Thalmor goons. A little eccentric and obsessed about Dwarves, but I've come to expect at least a couple of quirks from High Elves. He kept going on about how amazing those ruins were. I didn't quite get it, but it seemed to make him happy. And he paid well. Gave me a nice new sword and told me I could have a cut of whatever we pulled out of there. Can't say I much like how I acquired my cut, but I can't complain about the gold it's been bringing in. I also sent some off to people he mentioned in his journal. He had made quite a few friends in the short time he was up here, and I figured they deserved a little something, too. Shame it had to end the way it did. One of those Dwarven traps—spinning blades that came out of the ground—I had been wounded by one and was trapped. He came over and tried to help me—tried to heal me before the blades came back. He wasn't fast enough. Cut the poor sod down right where he stood."

Several Questions

has there been a Char you just REALLY did not want to give up?
Yes, but that’s why I like to play this way. A more thoughtful game means a more vivid character, for me.

have you continued them in some shape or form..ala roleplaying a char that a sibling/friend/random person who holds a trinket or endeared item of the deceased?
When my first Khajiit J’Shanji died, I started a new Khajiit and named him J’Shanji 2. It was his second life. There was also a J’Shanji 3, who looked completely different from his first two incarnations. If I play another male Khajiit, I’ll probably name him J’Shanji 4 and make him look like a tiger. Otherwise, no. Though I could see making a new character to avenge another character’s death. I just haven’t done it yet.

was their a point were you "gave up" and let your char die? did you feel any special way about that?
No. There are so many close calls, I can’t imagine giving up. I thought Big D was a goner on his first day, but he was saved by mudcrabs.

I started a new character to help me get over Shuvesse. Big D is still on his fishing trip. Let’s try some magic this time.

Meet http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h361/grits29/ZuurifreshfromHelgen.jpg. Here she is in looted armor just after Helgen. She’s using Destruction, Restoration, 1 H (mace), Block, and Heavy Armor. I guess she might try some enchanting, but no smithing or alchemy. Mage Stone right now, but I’m thinking she might go for the Atronach. Next up: release the dragons.

Sorry folks, I have been buzzing in and out of the thread, just hitting on a reply or two. I am getting caught up now, and I know there are some important posts that need to be addressed.

Shuvesse knew that strong locks safeguard valuable treasures, or in this case great power. It was a dragon priest. She never had a chance.
You know...I almost teared up when I read this. I was really enjoying that character. We share your sorrow in this time of loss. She has been immortalized in the Capulus Ceciderunt de Memoria Skyrim

"Tenetur in Aeternum"

But the subject of Roleplay is the hardest to figure out. I don't know what race to pick, or an invigorating, meaningful background to write, I'm stuck.

Any ideas?
That part is very tough, sometimes. If their story doesn't come to me beforehand. I stare at them in the creator and ask them...
"Who are you?"
"Where are you from?"
If they do not tell me, I just play them as a mystery and let them tell me later, as we play.

Alright, seeing as it's ten to four in the morning and I can't sleep, may as well get started documenting Mhairi's travels

Next instalment when I'm not dog-tired and falling asleep in my chair. Took me nearly two hours to write this, lol
Ha! I like how you express yourself. The story is fine. Just let her tell it and tell us what she says. No matter the hour of day. I look forward to Mhairi's tales. It's her job to tell the story...It's your job to make sure she has a story to tell.

He lasted a bit longer than I thought he would. New character coming soon. Think I might try something a little more evil for the next one. This DiD stuff is fun! Though it's a bummer when my characters die. :(
That was a very interesting character. You told his story well. I am sorry to hear of his passing. It does make one feel bad when they fall. That is what makes it seem so real, for me. It becomes so much more than, just a game. They become almost like family.

Is this your revenge character? She looks pissed. sixy, but very "Don't ____ with me" look about her. I wish you and Zuuri well.

I have been a little sidetracked with Vilad. There are a couple of issues that I am having. Nothing really gamebreaking. But things are not right. I am afraid I may have to restart. He is level 13 and has reached Master Vampire status so, that is a bummer. I drank the BS vile in the prison cell, before I selected my alternate start.

It seems that the "Live Another Life" mod has inadvertently placed the vile in my character's possession. The mod author states, the vile is intended to placed into the PC's inventory...AFTER they have contracted the vanilla disease.

With the exception of the few bugs I am having, due to me not reading the manual thoroughly, this is an amazing addition to the Vampire side of the game. Since Dawnguard is two months out for the PC, I should get a fair amount of time in, provided he doesn't die....well die again..because he is...Oh! Sod it....

I am also looking at a VERY evil tower mod. One that borders a sacrilegious and being an almost Satanic decor, with slaves, torture and demonic symbols about the interior. This will fit nicely with the character type. It has even sparked a lot of negative responses on the Nexus for being too anti religious.

I think what people don't realize is that this like a move. Our characters are like actors in the move. The good characters have nice things. The bad ones have naughty thins. That's just the props of the scenes. It doesn't reflect who we really are...well...MooHooHaHaHaaaa!...jk...not!

I think Ive made a record in shortest lived character. I have deadly dragons and immidiate dragons mods intalled, and I used Alternate Start - Live Another Life for better journey.
So I created female nord character named Alisa. Chose "I was abmushed and left dying" preset. After game loaded I was in the wilds with huge dragon just above me and he started spitting fire at me right away. No potions, no weapons, NOTHING. 5 seconds and boom. Im dead. I hadnt even time to make a save to delete afterwords. Better luck next time I guess.

I was really getting into Indy's unique playstyle. I might adapt it to one of the permanent characters I already have so I can keep playing it. I was so tempted to keep going with him, but dead is dead. He deserves a peaceful rest.

Anyway, here's my next character.

Name: Smells-His-Feet
Race: Argonian
Gender: Male
Class: Petty Thug/Criminal
Skills: Sneak, Lockpicking, 1H (dagger), Speech

Cursed with the unfortunate name of "Smells-His-Feet" (his Black Marsh name is unpronounceable to non-Argonians), life as a young lizard was rough; the poor little Argonian was destined to become something of a lowlife. He learned to fight at an early age as a means to protect himself from bullies, and he learned to steal as a way to take revenge on them. Realizing that crime was a profitable way to make a living (as long as one wasn't caught), Smells-His-Feet quickly earned a reputation for himself, and a series of wanted posters bearing his likeness and calling him "The Feet." After a slip-up resulted in his capture, it looked like Feet would spend the rest of his life working the mines. But, with some smooth-talking and just a little bit of luck, he was granted his freedom on the condition that he was to never return to his homeland. An exile shunned by his own people, he has arrived in Skyrim to make a new life for himself...a new life of crime.

Not really sure what I'm going to do with him. I made him so I could do the Thieves Guild/Dark Brotherhood quests I've been neglecting up until this point, and because I've never really played a truly bad character. Most were, at the very most, morally ambiguous. As such, I have no really unique RP rules other than the eat/sleep realism rule, so any ideas are welcome. He'll probably develop as I play.

So, I don't have enough time to really write any journal like entries for Lyvianna. I didn't even have a lot of time to play right now.

Spoiler
She recently escaped from Helgen, although not unharmed and with a lot of effort. For more than half of the time she was following that Nord, of who she doesn't know the name, she had to hide whenever imperial tried to arrest them again. She felt more secure after she managed to get her hands on some arrows and a bow. It is pretty safe to say that if it weren't for her back up, she and the Nord wouldn't have made it out alive.

They parted ways and she took another way to Riverwood, where she bought new clothes and sold some of the stuff she managed to take with her from Helgen. In town she also overheard some people complain about bandits holding up in the mine. She decided that it wouldn't be a to bad idea to clear that danger to built a good name in the region and to train her skills again. Taking care of these bandits wasn't a hard thing to do. She took them out one by one and didn't even get noticed. The townspeople of Riverwood where extremely happy to be rid of that problem. She decided to spend the night to feast with the rest at the inn.

By morning she set of towards Falkreath. She used to know someone there and hoped she could crash for some time with him while she would try to make some coin as a huntress. Alas the man had left.

Sorry if this isn't good but I wanted you guys to know I am still playing Lyvianna as a DiD character and I wrote this in about two minutes with what I can remember.
