Any chance that you're a student currently enrolled in college? Microsoft offers some software, like Win7, at special reduced prices for students. Sorry, I've no idea of the details of the offer, but you can begin at the link, below. Maybe some other members with experience in this will add some better information.

Consider going for a less expensive Upgrade path to Win7. Of course, you'd need an OS like Vista or XP to upgrade from. Vista > Win7 is an easy upgrade. XP > Win7 doesn't always work well, use their Upgrade Advisor application to check for potential problems.

There's nothing debatably legal about Wine. It's a compatibility layer created from clean-room reverse engineering.

Of course your remark about it not running everything is correct. It is, after all, just a compatibility layer

The thing is there is no memory sticks :s do they mean RAM?

Memory = RAM (Random Access Memory)

How many RAM sticks do you have? If you just pull one out randomly, that's not a good test. Say you have 4x1GB sticks. You need to remove 3 and boot the computer with just the remaining one. If it boots and remains on without restarting, then that stick is OK. (Assuming that the RAM is the problem--which I kind of doubt at this point, but hey. Eliminate all possibilities and all that.) If it goes into insta-reboot, then that's the bad stick. Shut the computer down, unplug it, and swap the currently installed RAM stick for one of the 3 you pulled earlier. Lather, rinse, repeat until you find the bad piece of RAM.

To be honest, though, before you go around yanking bits of your PC's hardware out or randomly editing any BIOS settings, I would eliminate the possibility that your lack of a "real" OS is what's causing this. Cheapest way to do that would be to install a Linux variant, as others in the thread have suggested. That Amazon store page says there's no OS included, and since you didn't even get a restore disc (IIRC) with your build I'd assume that what it says is true. The version of Windows 7 you've got on there now is an expired trial. It is not going to work. Period.

I did what they said and it didn't work I had two sticks I took out one and it still happen then I put that on back in a took out the other and still happen

Indeed. See if it happens with a clean OS install. If it still happens in Linux, go ahead and see about returning it as defective. If it doesn't then go buy a Windows install disc and put it on there.

I respectfully disagree with their suspicion. Bad RAM would effect the PC's stability in both BIOS & desktop. You've had issues of:

Getting past the Welcome Screen
Reaching the desktop
Running a stable desktop.

After some poking around, it seems that Shinobee PCs simply don't include a valid licensable end user OS. Users must install an OS after delivery. They may not have an OEM volume license distributor agreement with Microsoft. Have they addressed this concern of yours?

I know oongatz about Linux, so heed those with good advice there, as posted above. Seems like a good cheap way to troubleshoot your issue at this point.
