Unofficial DLC Discussion [spoilers] - Thread #3

The only thing thats really super essential is additional creatures, weapons, and armor. But some stuff that'd be wicked awesome that would make the game more complete:
-Spears
-Spell Crafting
-Arena
-Werebears
-Acrobatics (rolling, jump attack)

Being able to go to Cyrodiil and Morrowind is a big one for me. I mean, what could be better: going back to the areas of Oblivion and Morrowind where you've spent hours in to make a better place, and too see how it's changed, to see what's happened to those great places, and then, do more! And, it'd give a chance to bring more Khajiits into the game! Or atleast give them some sort of village like you gave the Orcs. Khajiits need something more than just travaling caravans, and only a total of like what? 12 Khajiits in total?

Vampire's are a bigger in Skyrim (as in, more part of the game world rather than a nice little side note like in Oblivion), but still the vampire, for players and NPC's alike, seem like nothing more important than random encouters, becoming one, and the rare, few quests that has to deal with them. You need to give them something more, something more to do, or for them simply to become a bigger part of the world. (Side note, I find Vampires to have more of a presence in Skyrim than Khajiits except for you can start out as them....which is very sad for the khajiits. Just saying, gotta support the khajiits!)

Don't even get more started on Werewolves. Fine, but I'll keep it short: Not the best idea to make werewolves part of the companions questline, and then just kinda leaving it there, with really nothing save for you can become them, some info about death as a werewolf, and a small daedric quest. It was kinda cheap.

Good luck Bethesda! You made Skyrim, so we know you can make it better with help from the community!

"The Necromancers Moon"

That which is dead can not die, The dead do not rest on the island of Ysgramor they rise from the grave, the burrows, even the dragon mounds. Uncover the mystery of the necromancer's moon for the King of Worms has returned and his wraith shall be terrible.

So basically the DLC would take place on the Island of Ysgramor(it makes sense they'd name an Island after him). The thousand year old King of Worms has risen. (or is being resurrected) and its up to the dragonborn to uncover the mystery and put a stop to it.

The DLC would provide a new map to explore, a return of old enemies such as ghosts and liches. There can be only one King of Worms and he does not share power, so no allying with him. He'd much prefer you as a thrall.

It would be awesome for a new area new armor new guilds (like a fighters guild without the werewolfs dude) and atleast after we beat it we can continue the game and go back to the DLC area and maybe new types of horses and bad guys and all that fun stuff and I hope we can get new race people (or weird things).

Expansion in Summerset Isle. (Rise or fall of Thalmor)
Marriable Khajiits, and more mer.
The option to kill the Blades would be lovely!!
And perhaps adding another race to the playable line up..

If there's a DLC based on Necromancy (which could be nice), I'd pretty well see it happen on http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:The_Exodus. The personal graveyard of Tiber Septim is said to be located on this island.

Would love to see a nice location expansion that gives the character a new primary plot with maybe a few small sub plots and then of course the random generated missions.

I only want to see one thing, and this might take an expansion rather than a dlc. I want to go after the Thalmer.

Before anything else, I want a guarentee that Todd and pals are paying attention to their fans' suggestions in the forums.

We've all got some great ideas, but they don't mean anything if they aren't seen :[

Fat chance.

The only "suggestion" they will consider using is when the mod with that suggestion in in the top 10 most downloaded on nexus.

We need an area expansion, with all the little bonuses included, rather than free standing armour, clothes and weapons. My personal preference would be extra spell tomes before anything else, the one area I feel is truly lacking.
There seem to be some factions that would benefit from serious additions, particularly a questline after joining the Bards, and perhaps making the Vigilants a joinable faction. And let's face it, we either want to join, or eradicate completely, without mercy or hesitation, the Thalmor.
