Despite what the title sounds like, this isn't a "I HATE DLC!" or "OMG, developers never listen to us!" rant thread.
I'm curious about whether or not developers get a feel for storylines or content before they make DLC by looking at what fans like us on the forums are talking about, and if they use that to come up with new features or gameplay, or do they all sit in a room around a big table and talk about storylines amongst themselves? I guess you can consider this a thread that wants to focus on the process used to create our DLC.
Granted, I realize that some DLC appears to be pre-planned and already in the works. In Oblivion, this appeared to be stuff like the horse armor or a lot of those extra houses (btw, please don't give me "automagically free!" stuff -- I want content to work for, like it was in the game the day of launch!

), but later on you saw more involved DLC (Knights of the Nine and the expansion pack, Shivering Isles).
What kind of stuff do you think we'll see?
