I also want to go to Elsweyr, in the next game, because I too am tired of the snow.

I'd love that, but sand would get boring too, but Cat people in the desert is pretty awesome

I'd like to go to High Rock. Geographically, it's on a much smaller scale than the other provinces, making it easier to program and fill and all that. It'd also be cool if it provided a way to rebuild Orsinium as a campaign of sorts. It'd also have more factions to help out (since High Rock is politically split), and you might be able to do missions for certain kingdoms to help them gain more power while trying to conceal that fact from the rulers of other kingdoms.

It'd also be cool if you started branching out the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood into this province.
This is a really good idea, I would like to go to High Rock too because I like Bretons. Being able to start up the TG and DB in High Rock would be cool, not to mention we could see some political quests which would be a nice break from the constant hack and slash of Skyrim currently.

Werewolves in Skyrim are very weak at higher levels, like around level 30 they get useless and can be killed in one or two hits. They also took away lunar transformations, which is kind of what makes a werewolf a werewolf, they also have horrible jumping skills. Bethesda also left out bonuses in human form, and in beast form werewolves do not have night vision or anything, and the only way they get additional powers, that should be part of their natural instincts, is from Totems you find. Bethesda really needs to make Lycanthropy like they had it in Daggerfall.

I also want to go to Elsweyr, in the next game, because I too am tired of the snow.

I agree with you, also all werewolves looks the same,Not a big problem but.. would be fun if they looked different

so just thought about ho an IC dlc could work.

so at the end of the DB quest you kill the emperor. so i was thinking after readin anouther thread some one said that with him dead it caould cause the thalmer ti invade the the impire again.

so this is my idea

so you the dovahkiin are sent to the IC for some reason or another ( can't decide what a good reason is yet ) but you start right out side the city in weye. and you can explore and go talk to people maybe do a few quests there before you go to the IC. and just so there wount be any kind of inviable wall lets just say weye is a big town now with wall around it. so that way no one will complaine about being able to see out into cyrodill and then not being able to go past a certain party because of the invisable walls.

so any ways after weye you make your way across the bridge and lets just say that the map is about the same size as the the SI. so that the IC would be about 1/3 the size of the map instaed of it being as small as it was in oblivion. the rest of it would be of course weys and the bridge, and the island around the city and lake rumare. and any islands in the lake and it would go down to that bridge that goes over the part of the lake that turns into the river.

well the story would be some thing about crowning a new emperor, then toward the end the thalmer would invade the city. then some one gets crowned at the very end. some thing like that i know not very detailed but if you like this idea feel free to add to the idea.

oh and for the island and all that the sewers would be redone something akin to mornhold sewers ( the size of it wise) and maybe some new caves and dungeons around the island.

Whatever the DLC will be, I'm getting really tired of waiting for info. And getting more and more excited for diablo 3.

Hurry up Beth.

Am I the only one that hopes the DLC expands on Skyrim itself rather than adding new places to explore like shivering isles or the Fallout 3 DLC. I just want new features that really improve the RPG experience along with new quest/ items.

You're not alone. A DLC like Shivering Isles would be devoured in a day or two, then we'd be back where we are now. But improving upon the base game (such as adding spell-making, new skills, weapon types, etc.) would make Skyrim much more replayable.

I don't need a new territory, either. Just add some depth to the existing material, especially organization questlines.

i know there are alot of "Lore" mongers here who want the "Lore" to be upheld until the end of time... but its only a game.. plus beth+valve made a portal mod remember? that wasnt "Lore" friendly either.
So you don't mind if a book or film ignores its own plot and backstory?

Hmm something else I would want to see (besides what I said about dragons) and having more epic quests /story content etc...

would be a follower like Vilja from the oblivion mod (or heck the followers from NV) an actual companion that feels like a real character that you can talk too get to know over time and care about etc Instead of a walking traveling robot suitcase that says somethings

i would like to see some new guild quests, there is always uncertain times for the guilds in TES but we never get to see anything else after the main quests are complete. what new problems is their facing the guild, what else needs to be done etc i would like to see a continuation

I really wish Bethesda would stop jerking us fans around by answering questions like "what is the release date on the dlc?" with answers like "soon" seriously it has been 5 months would it really kill them to throw us a bone, and give us a lagit release date/good hint about whats in it, like all the info I have heard has come for other fans WTF? Bethesda really?

Amen. I saw the killcams as an apology almost for all the bugs....instead of actually working on them.....its disgraceful.

p.s. Even those are broken. :)

Personally, I think they're doing a great job. They've been supporting the game since launch, released a new texture pack (it might not be what most were expecting but it's free), released the Skyrim Workshop (along with a couple of cool mods of their own), and the Creation Kit which they plan on providing support for as well (they said they're working on the navmesh bug). Also, they made an entire wiki to help people learn how to use the Creation Kit. And then there's the fact that they're supporting three platforms. They did all this in the 5 months that the game's been released. To me, that's very impressive.

As impressive as that all is it feels like their pasting leaves on a dead tree :/ imo.

Things I would like to see in a Skyrim DLC:
1. New weapons with complementary perk trees.(spears/halberds/throwing knives/axes etc)
2. Maybe some way to implement the Moot to elect the new high king/queen of Skyrim.
3. Maybe a Falmer 'uprising', not likely
4. A new landmass/realm whatever would also be a BIG bonus.
5. recognition for being a Thane in every possible hold would be nice as well. or a title of Dragon Slayer after main quest is done... not just someone who still fetches mead when being leader of the companions.
6. guards should NOT know I'm with the DB or the Thief's Guild... seriously.
7. Spell Making/Crafting
8. Build your own settlement like RTS

Thing I'd hate to see in a DLC...
1. More Housing
2. Horse Armour
3. Useless stuff like decorations.... unless it can modify your armours appearance

The thing is... ALL those things you mentioned are exclusive for the PC, so I don't really think you can say they're "supporting" three platforms. Sure they've released patches for bugs and stuff, and there are those who think that people should be grateful for that because they technically don't have to do it, but I'm one of those people who feel that developers have a responsibility to make sure their products actually work, even if there is no legislation/regulatory body enforcing such things.

I'd like to go to Vvardenfell. It would be different because all of the old cities would have more of a Pompeii feel to them. There is also a dragon supposedly living there named Ahbiilok. This dragon is mentioned in http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Atlas_of_Dragons as well as http://uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Twin_Secrets. It would be a great setting for maybe an Akavirii Invasion. You could also meet old friends such as http://uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Divayth_Fyr or http://uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Yagrum_Bagarn. It isn't too hard to believe this 4200 year old Dunmer mage might have put a ward around his tower during the eruption of Red Mountain. There might even still be Ashlanders left, as well as people settling back on to the island. Maybe you could explore the crater that once was Vivec. A lot of possibilities with this one. the eruption could have changed a lot of things. Hell maybe the Cliffracers are back.
