Unofficial Skyrim DLC Discussion

Damn, do you want them to come to your house and cook you a ribeye steak too?
That would be nice. I am just not into steaks that much but the http://www.dreamfieldsfoods.com/healthy-pasta-recipes/2008/08/linguine-salsa-rosa-pink-sauce.html with artickoke hearts and chicken would be good.
I know I had a lot of "I wants" in there but that is what an expansion offers all around more content.
That is what Bethesda promised us expansions.

More Khajiits, I love those guys and there are almost none in Skyrim. I'd enjoy going to Cyrodiil again, actually, but Morrowind would be enjoyable as well. If I had to guess I'd bet that there will be an expansion similar to the Shivering Isles, and another expanding on the current landmass, seeing as how there is some pre-prepared landmass in the game for Cyrodiil and Morrowind. Maybe it's just for modders.

1. Extentions of all the main questlines.
Spoiler
Only ones I have really thought out are the Mage's Guild (Going to the Isle of Artaeum, meeting the Psijic Order, and dealing with the Eye (Maybe it was too strong for even them)), companions (Perhaps Hircine is pissed at the freeing of Kodlak), and the Civil War (Thalmor Invasion). You would have to finish the original questline to start the later parts, obviously.

2. Either Boethiah or Pretyite's realms.
Spoiler
Boethiah because the Goldbrand was made by dragons for a knight sworn to protect them, and Peryite because he is a dragon and says "perhaps we will meet again, afterwards" hinting at DLC.

3. More everything (Spells, Weapons, Armors, Clothes), of course this would come hand-in-hand with any other DLC/Expansion.

4. Console Commands for Consoles (I doubt it, but heck, I can dream, lol).

I don't care much for the main focus of the DLC, as I've enjoyed most of the (actual, not the stupid horse armor crap) DLC Bethesda has made in the past.

But I would like to see changes to already existing content in addition to whatever content is added. Just to add more fluff, like radiant AI quests for Daedric Princes who's quest you've completed that could appear at any time (you are their champion after all.) A few new dungeons with only the possibility of radiant quests attached just thrown around the place. Things like that to just add more content to the base game for those who are burnt out on it. So when you finish the DLC quests it's not just "Well, I'm done!" You can return to Skyrim (assuming the DLC takes place elsewhere) and have some more to accomplish.

Also, I'd like to see more fleshed out boss fights that set themselves apart from each other.

A non-MMO multiplayer. What is there to lose in attempting to make a 2-4 player co-op?
Hate all you want but I would like to have a few of my friends come travel with me. If they did (unlikely) you all would call them sell-outs but it would gain more money to make a bigger, better, and badder TES game. And all my friends agree that they wish there was a small 2-4 player co-op.

I would LOVE to have a DLC and/or expansion that sees you reestablish Orsinium; we keep hearing about it and finding out more about the Orcs, but we never see or help the Orcs and Orsinium.

Yeah many people don′t like that idea but I think it would be pretty awesome.

I think people are not totally against Co-Op, its Massive online Multiplayer.

I think co-op would be great, and juss have the people co-oping <---(lol) Play as mercenerys or something but i also think why they won't do it is because all the elder scrolls game ( well that i know of ) are all single player games and i think they may intend to stay that way. ( probally because every game seems to be going to Online now , because more money can be made that way ) and Bethesda just proved that single player games can indeed rake in the moneys.

  • Ability to craft arrows.
  • Houses/buildings added to the smaller towns to flesh them out more.
  • Something substantive with the Psijiics
  • Western Morrowind
  • More shouts
  • make Hroki marriage-eligible ;-)

Do you mean to say that the Sheogorath we encounter in Skyrim is not Jyggalag but in fact the Champion of Cyrodiil?

I would LOVE to see a full blown expansion. Something that adds a ton of new content. I don't care where the content takes place or what it entails, I just want gobs of it. It would be cool to revisit Morrowind though. The Isle of Artaeum sounds pretty nice too, and the Psijic Order could make for some cool content. Azura's realm sounds beautiful too, but it would take some creative writing to happen, because the lore states that it half blinds you because it's so beautiful. But they could make it work. Also, something with the Dwemer would be great too. I've been interested in them since Morrowind. Any other Daedric realm would be cool too, but I have a feeling it won't be a Daedric realm because they already did a Daedric realm with Oblivion. Whatever the case though, I'm super excited to see what the DLC will be. I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Alot of people have mentioned some of mine but the more i agree the more it may happen.

i would like a fleshed out DLC.
a couple new factions and questlines.
variety of new armour and weapon loot to be found.
bring back arena
i would like to see skyrim start to rebuild and repopulate after the civil war has ended.
add more NPCs
i would like to have the option to buy a house in all the holds and small towns. (i would like to play as a blacksmith in a village)
i would like to play music.
i do not want some armor for a horse who is expendable(and built like a brick [censored]house)
i wouldn't mind a questline where you can chose a hold to become yourown and then ever now and then you will need to defend it, improve it, work out relations with the other holds, attack others. etc.
better hotkey useage
some good guy questlines
able to marry at least one of every race
and some more places for me to explore
final one.. im surprised there was never quests for protecting merchant caravans or anything. trade has to come from somewhere.

edit: and thalmor hunting

Yes he is, or his successor but I'm pretty sure it's him, probably having gone insane and forgetting who he once was and accepting his position as the new Daedric prince.

I want to have more to the Thalmor storyline, this time being able to go and kill them OR start the game from the side of the Thalmor, and you being their Dragonborn and they use you for evil or whatever. I just think it would be cool to be able to join the Thalmor and crush the Empire for good, or be able to go to the Summerset Isles and finish them off for good.

An DLC dealing with the Thalmor. Something like a sandbox DLC. After players finish the civil war , the Thalmor become more aggressive and starts to occupy skyrim more so .

You start the quest building up a small resistance , then it leads to a full blown conflict. If imperials... its more subtle ( because they had a treaty with them , don't want them to notice ) and if stormcloaks its way more direct of the bat.

Then later players start capturing Forts, towns, castles, mines, farms, outposts etc in Skyrim and out to help with the war effort against the Thalmor. Since the player is a high ranking officer he/she can issue orders to take key targets and own their own custom castle and battalion. But the Thalmor won't go down easily they will actively attack your territory . stage ambushes , assassinations and perhaps try to kill your spouse .... so the players have to upgrade their fortifications if they want to successfully fend of the Thalmor. Perhaps later you even go to different provinces to help the other rebellions .... i heard that Hammerfall has a resistance going .

Of course there should be lots of twists ... like Thalmor has somehow use dragons against your fraction. Discovering lost artifacts , exploring new dungeons... to maybe resurrect ancient Nords . strategize , etc .

The DLC should also introduce hard choices the players have to make.....saving the village or rescuing important officers( if you don't they die, and this causes a real loss of morale and military strength) or after being captured the Thalmor , after torturing you , make you decide who should die ..... your family/people you helped/ randomly captured companions ....or an innocent family ( children and all).

And lastly
New weapons, armor, perks, dungeons, shouts, etc

The Vigilants of Stendarr is a theme I hope they use.

I believe they will have the Thalmor as the theme for one of the DLCs.

That's my two cent.

Having any sort of multiplayer would take away the capability of the singleplayer game (money, resources, time etc). They said it will never happen, which I'm sure they'll stick too.
