I hope that they add back in some of the old armor sets that have been added, then removed. Particularly mithril and adamantium. Mirthil would be nice, because I feel like light armor could use a bit more. And adamantium because there are no "good" looking high end heavy armor sets.

Hope they focus on "good" characters. The base game has too many quest lines and rewards for "evil" play and barely any that could be called "good". I have enjoyed playing an assassin/archer. It's fun. But I found that too many of the quests force a good character to either abandon the questline or compromise his principles. The rewards for the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild quests are quite good... and you get cool unique items/experiences. There's very little to be said for a good playthrough, other than goodness is it's own reward.

May as well just throw horse armor in there...

Anyways, they're only doing expansive DLC like Fallout's.

hardcoe mode. You need to eat and sleep or else you get hit with major debuffs.

Ability for left-handed characters to block, preferably by allowing shields to be placed in the right hand.

I do like the idea of Solstheim as a DLC location...could be fun.

EDIT: Oh, and it would be fun to have faction recognition, i.e. Stormcloaks recognize if you're wearing imperial armor and attack...or use the imperial armor to go incognito in Castle Dour...

A return to Western Morrowind, A Vampire Guild/Werewolf Guild, more Dwemer ruins since they were the best dungeons in my opinion, Respec option at the end of the tutorial, The return of Mithril Armor and a new Heavy Armor type.

Edited- How could I forget Horse Armor.

I said much the same on another thread. In fact, I haven't continued on the Thieves Guild Path because

Spoiler
they want me to poison a batch of beer. I mean, come on! And the Dark Brotherhood.......don't think I need to say much about that, other than: I think I am going to go to the hideout and just kill everyone -even though I might be too late to collect the bounty from the Imperial General dude.

Saw a comment from Pete Hines last week saying 15 people a day are still d/l the Horse Armor
Anyway, kinda upset that there won't be any accessory content. I like that side of the game. Guess i will have to rely on the modding community.

Seriously, I would love to learn more about the Dwemer.

Expedition to Atmora - the true homeland of the Nords.

Or an expedition to Orsimer, or Daggerfall, or the western borders of Morrowind.

An interesting Daedric realm.

Or perhaps the small island of Roscrea.

In general, I want new interesting places to explore. I don't want any house DLC or one-quest DLC. I want the places to expand the original world if possible, so that you can go back there after and have more stuff to do than just "download DLC, play it for a few hours, complete, get back to the real world again and never visit the DLC place again". Bethesda, please do DLCs that we have reason to go back to even after we've "finished" them. And... I want EXPANSIONS, not DLCs!

I wish the Thieves Guild was more like it was in Oblivion robin hood type. I do wish there was more of a "good" guild.

I'd like more land to explore, more dungeons, more quests.
New weapons/armour, new shouts.
New factions like Psjicic (spelling) order and the Vigil of Stendarr to join.
More spells.
More Dwemer/Falmer lore.
More random activity like bandit raids on cities, big wars between Imperials and Stormcloaks, werewolf attacks on towns. (although this is more of a 'mod's deal')

Pretty much quests.

Expansive guild related quests. Maybe separate DLCs for more quests for each guild.
Oppositional quests, where you do quests against the guilds.
Deeper companions - concentrate on quality and long, deep quest lines rather than quantity.

I want an expansion not a penny pinching DLC.

I want an island to the north in the Sea of Ghost, I want a huge landmass loaded with content.
I want maybe a few new factions.
A new epic questline similar to the Shivering Isles and Bloodmoons length.
I want new items, weapons, armor, clothes, and over all new content.
I want new creatures and enemies.
New unique NPCs.
I want the option to change your hair, beard, face paint and your dirt levels.
I want hundred of hours more gameplay time an Elder Scrolls expansion adds.
I want new spell and spell creation.
Maybe with the expansion we could rebuild Winterhold, I really wanted to see thats city and its disappointing the state its in.

Racial Quests.

Preferably ones that can be taken in place of the opening cinematic, or even before it.

I want an entire expansion. I don't want a weapons pack, not an armor pack, I want a full blown expansion.

Some of the existing quest content might be related to potential DLC discussion - just remember to use spoiler tags here.

-More armor will increase replayability. As well as new weapons and the like. Not asking for a lot, but whatever i can get, I'll gladly take.
-New lands can take this game over the top. Adding new zones, and quests will add huge value, and I'd definately like the idea of expanding the story.
-New followers are also interesting, if your looking to make a quick DLC. But I'd rather it be more than just this.
-Add new dragon types, and make incounters a tad more rare.
-New cities, where players have access to questhubs, markets and the like. Such as the existing cities, Whiterun, Windhelm, etc.
-New shouts
-New towns
-New soundtrack addition. I know it hasnt been pitched much. But i have fallen in love with Skyrim's music, and i think adding more would definately be worth the money.
-New dungeons
-New Npc's
-New enemy types
-More selection of homes that the player can purchase
-More upgrades for existing homes
-New enchantments, potions and the like
-New spellbooks
-New readable books
-More factions for the player to get involved in (ie Dark Brotherhood, Companions)
-The ability to purchase a boat. Adding various sea elements. As Skyrim does take inspiration from Vikings, i see naval combat as a great addition
-More/Different random incounters. The one's already included are fantastic, and make the game tons of fun. I think adding more would also take this game over the top.
-The ability to own your own warband of warriors. And your own keep/stronghold

I realize these all cannot be implemented. But i decided to pitch out as many ideas that i geniunely thought would improve the game from my own experience. I realize some of these things would change the system of the game, and others would take a good deal of time. But these are my own wishes that I would love to see in the game myself.

If Bethesda does read this,
Thank you very much for delivering a great game so far. And i look forward to seeing Skyrim expand and grow even further.

Damn, do you want them to come to your house and cook you a ribeye steak too?

I want additional content that takes place within Skyrim proper - i.e., it doesn't take you to a different province/island/whatever and keep you from leaving until you've finished. Kind of like the Knights of the Nine DLC for Oblivion. I really enjoyed that one.
