I'm so glad I have other games to bide my time... This lack of DLC announcements is killing me, and I've already played the game to death so I really have no "want" to play it...

The wait for new content is killing me. I want to start a new character, but what if I make one who invest in light armor perks and then this new badass looking heavy armor comes out? Or something relatively silmiar. That would be pretty lame.

This DLC better be good. They're taking a lot of time to announce it.

I wonder how big their "big" dlc is going to be. I mean, are we talking a new faction with quests and all? (Forsworn come to mind).

Are we talking about a new province? How cool would it be to go bonk some Thalmor heads in Alinor?

Or are we just looking at KotN with one new questline and a suit of armor? Ugh... I just wish I knew.

You don't even know what they are selling!

It could be anything.

I would not pay $15 for Horse Armor Redux.

Bethesda said it would be like small expansions, didn't they?

I just remembered that Bethesda posted this from their http://www.bethblog.com/2012/04/12/kinect-support-coming-to-skyrim/: "Bethesda Game Studios has been hard at work on creating the first set of game add-ons that will be exclusive to the Xbox 360. This additional content will add new quests, locations, features, and much more to the world of Skyrim. Stay tuned for more details."

This is dependent on what they offer. Something the size of Shivering isles could sell for upwards of $30.00. Six months since launch, I wouldn't expect a DLC that took this long before even an announcement was made to be lacking enough content to justify at least $15.00

Ooh. While I appreciate your enthusiasm, a healthy dose of skepticism will help Bethesda avoid cutting corners.

In microsoft points terms I'm guessing, depending on the size, between 1000 and 2000.

I think they recently said that the dlc will be about the size of Point Lookout for Fallout 3. I never played Point Lookout. Exactly how big is that?

That bit about "the world of Skyrim" is interesting. What do you they meant by that? Possibly nothing, but Skyrim certainly isn't the name of the world. Could that sentence be confirmation all of the DLC will take place within the current province? As in, confirmation that this DLC will not not be taking place in Morrowind, Hammerfell, etc?

I've gotta say that i'am starting to lose my interest in Skyrim.I bought the game day one and that was novemeber. It's almost mai and no real infos yet(only the usually stay tuned, soon bla bla). They said april will have some big suprises for Rage and Skyrim players.I'am still waiting for that "big" suprise. There are many other good games that came out recently(witcher 2) and more ahead like dragon's dogma. So if they intend to wait another month or two for their DLC to go online,i'am out.Slowly losing intrest.
Same here. Im trying not to play skyrim till DLC is announced. Its april 22 & still no "suprise" other than that kinect BS. Now that other games like you said are out & coming out ( Sniper elite v2 ) I don't care anymore.

Point lookout was pretty big. IDK how big exactly but its smaller than the shivering isles & i will be dissapointed if its that small as they said at the beginning that they will be bigger than there previous stuff.

indeed they did say point lookout size, maybe a tad bigger.

and point lookout took place in its own new area with a means to get to and from it (riverboat) as well as having a main quest, side quests, new places to explore, different atmosphere, weapons, clothes, etc.

i would say it was half the size of shivering isles. so i would not expect a whole new world to explore (i was starting to think darklight/morrowind but that might be to large an area) so im not thinking anything in a different province (hammerfell, Elsweyr, etc.) and if it is it will probobly only be on the border and not give us too much to explore.

DLC cost for all the decent sized add ons in the past was $10 U.S. (800 MS points) this does not include S.I. expansion or little things like horse armor.

I am looking foward to the DLC, i bought all oblivion DLC (except horse armor :P) all fallout 3 DLC, and all Fallout NV DLC, in the case of fallout 3 and NV i spent more on DLC then i did on the games themselves. but i have always enjoyed everything i have played. Support for skyrim has been great, sure its been buggy (its a massive game, they tend to be) but the have included alot of free fix's and game improvements to try and solve issues so thanks :)

trying to patiently wait for DLC with money in hand, thank you Bethesda, love your work :D

Due to Xbox exclusivity, there is no chance that the DLC will be released for the PC before Diablo 3's release day. Which means I won't be buying the DLC as Blizzard will own me starting may 15th.

I think you might be reading too much into that comment.

The "world of Skyrim" would seem to be merely a reference to the game world, as in "adding quests, locations, features, etc., to the world (of the game called) Skyrim."
