so this laptop will be able to run on ultra??
lenovo IdeaPad Z570

No. It's got a weak GPU.

Can you post the complete specs?

(graphics card, CPU, etc.)

http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1369386-unofficial-will-my-pc-run-skyrim-thread-59-w-hardware-guide/page__view__findpost__p__20958682should run Skyrim just fine at 1080p, with all settings maxed except using FXAA instead of MSAA. Possibly even with 4xMSAA or 8xMSAA. (FXAA is a kind of anti aliasing that does not impact frame rate as much as MSAA.)

As I mentioned, I haven't used some of the graphics mods on your list, but most of the mods you listed do not significantly reduce frame rate.

As for the http://shop.lenovo.com/us/laptops/ideapad/z-series/z570 z570, it looks like the display is only 1366x768, and I think you are looking for a laptop with 1080p display, no?

sorry i dont know much about laptops and pc and stuff like that =)

No worries, we will try to help the best we can. :geek:

http://youtu.be/qmeNz0NTvFQ?hd=1 - basically an alternative that looks almost as good as regular AA (MSAA), but doesn't reduce the frame rate. Skyrim has an option to use this setting instead of regular AA.

That should smoke Skyrim all settings maxed at 1080p.

What do you mean Quad CrossFire? You will have 4 separate 560ti cards in this computer? One is already enough for Skyrim at 1080p, but I suppose it can't hurt.

I see you are not based in the US. In that case, I don't think you would be able to buy that laptop on sale at HP

In case it's helpful, or if you find a similar model in your country, here are the specs for that particular laptop that is on sale here:
Spoiler

Repost:

Crossfire is not an option for you.....there is no secondary dedicated video chip in your laptop. The 6520g is all you've got.

But it says it has 4 CPU's => Processor: AMD A6-3400M APU with Radeon? HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~1.4GHz

Ps Bare in mind that i'm a noob.

That's an integrated chipset. You cannot use Crossfire on an integrated chip as far as I'm aware.

Please provide the full specs of the machines you want to know about for the future, so we don't need to take the time to look them up and all.

And the GPU is fairly weak.

It's just a settings option available for Skyrim and a lot of recent games (it's in the graphics settings menu). Traditional anti aliasing slows down the frame rate unless you have a powerful GPU. When you turn off regular anti aliasing and turn on FXAA (for games that have this option), you can get visual quality that looks decent but doesn't reduce your frame rate very much.

Since you are interested in a laptop, there are not a lot of laptops that can handle a game like Skyrim at 1080p with maxed regular anti aliasing, but there are quite a few that can deliver good frame rate at 1080p using FXAA instead.

Maybe. Your case needs to be big enough, you need proper cooling, a strong enough PSU, and you need to check the total PCI express lanes that your MB supports. There are other considerations, as well, but those are the main ones.

However, you'll be unlikely to see a large performance increase above 2 cards.
