Vampire Lord is Marcus

Post » Mon Jun 25, 2012 3:41 am

I'm not defending this model of the vampire lord, but you do know that if Bethesda had chosen something original and different there would be a twin of this thread complaining that vampires look nothing like how people imagined and how Bethesda should have looked at fictional vampire characters in media for inspiration.

Moral of the story; Someone will always complain.
Ha! that's pretty good... :foodndrink:
EDIT :
Dracula in Bramstokers dracula has the same form...so underworld, van helsing an beth are unoriginal... or you could argue that particular form goes back even further... and as a wise man once said...there is no more original thought...
That character had wings? I thought he just turned into a Werewolf.

Except for Twilight, I know that idea of vampires was stupid ass hell, but you have to admit it was pretty original. But as someone said above people will always complain.

Yes, I said this earlier, he said he got the inspiration from Underworld Evolution because he watched the movie recently before he designed the Vampire Lord

Inspiration is fine, but I think it does look a little too similar.

That is a wonderful attitude to have. there are others that could take on this feeling towards the issue, myself included.

Endeed. I remember threads regarding how vampirism in skyrim wasn't even close to modern art material and lore on vampires.

Yeah yesterday I saw a couple threads complaining that Bethesda changed it so feeding actually makes you stronger (perks in VL skill tree) rather than starving yourself as a vampire making you stronger.

It actually looks a lot like Marcus, and Dracula from the movie Van Helsing. If you see the back of the VL it has a ponytail thing that looks like Dracula in Van Helsing.

And out of curiosity do you change your avatar every day? Or is there someone else that has the same name that has a different picture of a Native American.

I need to watch some vampire films. I watched the 1921 silent film Nosferatu on you tube last night. Bram Stoker was one of the first credits. Now I need to watch some others.

Ha! That's just something I like to play with.

I would recommend watching Bram Stoker's Dracula film with Gary Oldman playing Dracula it was an excellent movie, he played Dracula very well.

Okay, I was just wondering because I see your posts on threads, but they will have different pictures each time haha.

I vaguely remember bits and pieces of that one. It's been a while since I seen it. I have yet to see the the first two Underworlds and I will never watch any of those twilight movies.
