What wig? The player's hair? Also, I know this might be ridiculous since they're only images, but it does look like the same animations are in place... or at least very similar ones.

It doesn't clearly look like it... and we're not allowed this discussion. It never happened.

Pretty sure he's referring to a female super mutant wearing a wig that was mentioned earlier. Either here in another forum thread, I can't really remember at the moment.

Ahem, the problem is I didn't yet see that. I'll, uh, browse a bit more.

Hmm, what I saw in the images wasn't exactly what I was expecting... but it still looks good.

Don't know if it already has been said, but it will take place three years after Fallout 3.

I've seen pics and I must say, it looks almost exactly like Fallout 3. (Style and graphics wise) I mean, I know they're using the same engine, but it looks more like a TC mod than a whole new game.

Though I am still excited.

Man, no dialogue example screens or some exploration. These guys really seem to think everyone is after fire, death and explosions.

Aha, timeline. It seems it will take place 3 years after F3. Didn't see this mentioned anywhere.
So, some new things: Looks more colorfull; animations seem to be very similar; looks like dynamite might be in; Doctor Mitchell lives in a town called Goodsprings.

Yeah, it's really, really similar. I actually caught myself thinking that Fallout 3 looks better running on high then some of those images do. But I'm still reserving judgment until I see actual gameplay.

True, but I guess they only had so many images to fill, and had to fill them in with action-packed screens to attract new fans.

I hope the pics in the magazine aren't based on Ultra High settings. Looks very similar to Fallout 3.

You know, I really like that NCR is trying to expand east. It gives me hope that maybe in a far off, future Fallout game, we'll be in the middle of a conflict between the NCR and whatever government arises in the East. A man can dream...

I noticed that the combat armor, leather armor and probably more stuff is gotten directly from Fallout 3. Which is a good thing, more time to work on new content when you have so much done for you already. I'm excited to see what new stuff they come up with though, I liked what I saw. The NCR ranger outfit depicted looked especially nice.

Also, it really looks like PCG played the current version of the game since they rewrote good amounts of the dialogue in the article.
