Got some questions if you're still taking them:

How will the weapon repair system work? To be more specific- will we still have to find another exact gun to repair our current one? Will there even be a repair system?

How will "hardcoe mode" work with others in our group? Do they also need to drink? Are they as limited as we are in carrying weapons and ammo? Do I need to keep giving them ammo when they run out? Will the "outdoorsman" skill return and will it be required in hardcoe mode?

You think the guy who gives the PC the Pip-boy will be from V21?

Either way, I'm just happy that we know for a fact that NCR is going to play a role.

Maybe so, who knows, but at the light of the new info it seems possible.

Yep, NCR is a good addition, as are the Ceasars Legion, and the other ones (Vault 21 people perhaps). This all, would make a very interesting gameplay.

As much as I'd like to see them too, they're in the PC Gamer UK magazine. Uploading them and linking to them here would "break copyright."

They'd be magazinescans that are not allowed here.

Perhaps Dogmeat's distant cousin will make an appearance. I liked Dogmeat more than any of the other companions. Although Fawks was pretty funny.

Sorry for spamming, but would someone help me in keeping this threadchain up and updated and continous.

Because, Im now drunk as a stork in WB cartoons and going to pub. So if someone would update and copy/paste the op for next thread and continue this discussion, I'd be grateful.

# First-person action RPG with the same engine as Fallout 3.

Hi, anyone know if the Third-person view has been retained?

One of the reasons i liked Fallout 3 was because i was given a choice in how i play, and to be honest i preferred to play using 3rd person view (only using FPS view for rifles and big guns)

Thanks :)

I'm glad to see we're finally getting some info about the game. I was getting worried!

One thing I'm wondering, though, is whether there has been any info about when in the Fallout timeline this game takes place. Is it happening at basically the same time as Fallout 3 or earlier? Anyone seen anything on that?

Yes, I think we can all assume so. Hopefully they will make it better over the shoulder like in Resident Evil 5 but not tank controls.

Fallout 3's 3rd person was better than Oblivion's so hopefully there will be some improvement.
