What race do you refuse to play? : V - Skyrim

I have played every race in the game at some point between Daggerfall and Skyrim so the answer to the question for me would be NONE.

All the races used to have their advantages and disadvantages. Now since all the races are pretty much the same there is no reason to use other races which leads to people most likely only using one race or maybe two the whole time they play the game.

maybe you should play the game more instead of writing false and misleading statements on its forums, just saying...

Where is the Altmer's resistance to disease and weakness to magicka?
What he meant and what is true was that compared to the other games, the races in Skyrim are woefully interchangable.
Most of what made them unique is gone.

I refuse to be a wood elf. They looked like short jerks in morrowind, short fat jerks in oblivian, and heroine addicts in skyrim. I'd be open to play any of the others if there abilities matched what i was going to do.

Argonians. I can play every race , but Argonians I just cannot suspend my disbelief to play. Khajitts push it for me as it is.

Althpough I only ever play Humans; I don`t even touch Elves.

Imperials...they feel more like citizens then warriors to me and therefore belong in the imperial city, not skyrim.
I'm not a fan of wood elves either as they're the "gay" hippie elves and remind me of legolas from lotr

I agree to this, race is a much less significant choice now. However, people still have races they refuse to play just because of aesthetics or their take on the lore so I still disagree that the choice is entirely irrelevant.

so much hate for bosmer, I actually enjoy playing bosmer cause I always think of that hilarious fargoth in Morrowind, brings a smile to my face.

Orcs- At least they're green, but they're not real orcs. Too similar to the Warcraft concept.

I'm not a big fan of Altmer, Argonians, Khajiit or Bosmer, but I'd play them depending on my character concept.

who said they have to be the same as previous games? It's Skyrim, not Oblivion 2
bretons have magic resistance, nords have freeze resistance, some have none but have other things and so on.

Myself, Ive never played an Imperial.
Not because of what they can do in the game, but because of the lore.
Ive never really liked Romans.

I've only played two or three races (Nord, Argonian, Altmer) until now, I'll try to play a bit with them all and see if I have any favorites and least favorites.

Everyone has a right to their opinions. I love argonians and always have, and I love em even more now with the improvements, but other's opinions of them aren't gonna ruin my day.

I have nothing against any of the beast races, I just totally svck at creating them.

I play whatever race suit's the characters role that I wish to play.

I hate all elves and don't play them. I also don't play Imperials, but I'm not against them, I just like the other races more.

Pick races based on being able to make them look good (racial bonuses and skill preferences don't make much difference, really), so I tend to avoid the more "odd" or "monstery" races. Like the alien Altmer, or the Orcs, or the beast races..... :shrug:

I only play Nord, Breton or Imperial.

Same here, plus Redguard.

Although I love Khajiit's, I just can't play a "beast race". It's all about immersion and identifying with your character for me.

After dealing with the Thalmor, I will never play an Altmer. LOL I played a Dunmer in Oblivion, because of their increased fire resistance. Wood Elf, ugh, most Bosmer I meet are rather obnoxious! So, no lol

Yeah I'm gonna join the Bosmer haters. My main gripe with them is they are the shortest race (their males being even shorter than females) and I prefer playing more... how should I say... imposing characters.
