Oblivion scared me more than Skyrim. I don't really find anything scary about Skyrim. The Abandoned Prison however did give me chills, but other than that nothing.

The desensitized children of Solitude who walk by a corpse and give it an unfazed "Oh, dead body", then walk away like it's a daily sight. Then, when a fight breaks, they pull knives out of their pockets!

Or better yet children that send hired thugs after you...

Hagravens. I'm not too afraid to fight them, but [censored].. I do not look forward to it. Whenever I go against one, playing in third person is a MUST.

Also my Frost Atronach scared me a few times. They're just so big, and after battle they just run towards you with their giant earth shaking steps. When I was playing a conjurer I would always rush to use my banish daedra spell after a battle.

Having your magelight ball disappear while playing on 50% brightness setting, then suddenly find yourself surrounded by Falmer.

I turned the music off, so i didnt have to hear the build up of epic music everytime an enemy approaches. As a result, i get the occasional shock when a beastie sneaks up on me, but nothing scares me...

Nothing in the game scares me.

The forums however are a different story. Some of the thoughts, ideas, and suggestions I've read here scare the freekin crap out of me.

Only thing that made me jump in skyrim is when i was swimming in the sea and i tried to activate my shout ( i had whirlwind sprint on ) but it didnt work, then i paused the game to get a drink then when i got back to playing it i finally got to land and then my shout automatically activated when i got out of the water, i crapped myself and ended up getting orange juice all over my shirt and my xbox controller ><

Apart from that nothings really scary in skyrim :')

There's a real lack of scary things in Skyrim, luckily there's the monster mod for PC, but if your like me and a console player then you gotta hope that there's something creepy in Dawnguard. Other wise...... I'm the scariest thing on the map

I jump a little every time I run across a fire spouting pressure plate. And whenever a spider drops down right behind my character. :dead:

When I have the Voice of the Sky blessing and I'm in an area with chaurus, I can walk by them and they won't attack but it's the creepiest thing ever! They're making those loud clicking sounds and moving around and I'm just sure they'll attack at any moment. Same with the spiders. They'll move around making that 8-footed walking sound and you'll be right next to them. :::shiver:::

:tes:

Yea chaurus creep me out too. They have a very H.P. Lovecraft quality about them the way they scitter about in the dark of dimly lit dungeons as a torch magnifies their shadowy malignent forms to monolithic proportions of some ancient god beyond comprehension of the meaning of humanity. An alien horror essence of deathly black. The anti-life incarnate.

Dragons also terrify me with their wondrous power of flight and their titanic earth shaking forms bellowing forth a monstrous voice which commands of mastery demanding absolute servitude from the living so long free in their liberty.
